However, to survive so much mint, Xu Yi is already very satisfied. He was sure that his results in cutting in this space were definitely much better than cutting these mints in the outside world, and if he cut these mints in the garden, it would be good to be able to grow a third of them.

Think of it this way. Xu Yi looked up at the tea seedlings he had cutting, and then he shook his head. Or maybe those tea seedlings are also going to be lost, which is not watered. Presumably, the survival rate must be lower.

The survival rate did not reach 100%, but there were hundreds of mint plants, which was enough for Xu Yi to use.

Of course, Xu Yi didn't expect to rely on this small piece of mint to meet the purpose of opening a store, and the main purpose of planting these things was to harvest seeds. Although these mints are very luxuriant, and each plant has many branches, which occupy a large area, there are not many branches that grow flower spikes on them.

Peppermint flowering is more characteristic, and not all stems will have flower spikes on them. A mint plant grows many branches. The central ones are erect stems that grow mainly upwards, while the surrounding ones are more stolons that grow from the upright part of the stem near the ground.

The stolons are basically close to the ground and grow around, and even some segments can be seen with fibrous roots growing out and rooting on the soil below, which naturally makes the stolons much shorter than the erect stems, Xu Yi noticed that only the top of the erect stem grows flower spikes, but there are no flower spikes on the stolons at all.

Even though the mint has relatively few flower stems, there are at least seven or eight on each plant. The mint on the stems attracts large swarms of bees to collect nectar pollen, which can naturally be pollinated for a day or two at most. Presumably, a large number of mint seeds will be produced. After these seeds mature, Xu Yi will naturally be able to cultivate enough seedlings.

With the seeds, they can be planted in a space or garden.

Of course, the mint planted in the yard does not matter how many varieties there are. Xu Yi just used them as a cover.

All he had to do was make sure they could survive and grow normally, and then he would put a few handfuls on them and leave some traces of picking.

Whether it is from the point of view of the homogeneity of the trait or from the point of view of the quality of the mint. The space is definitely better than the garden grows, which is undoubtedly more helpful for improving the stability and taste of the final product.

After getting it done. Xu Yi walked towards the sweet potato planted in the distance and something like that.

Those sweet potatoes look pretty good, and you can see them from afar. The inside of the field was like a large verdant carpet, and there was no visible surface at all.

Of course, this height does not mean anything, and for ginger, what is more important is the number of above-ground stems on each plant. The number of rhizomes that can grow under ginger is entirely determined by the number of stems above ground.

Under normal circumstances, there was a significant positive correlation between the yield of rhizomes of the same variety of ginger and the number of branches in aboveground stems, and the higher the number of aboveground stems, the larger the tubers of underground stems, and the higher the yield.

For this, these gingers also show obvious differences.

Most of the ginger grown from these seeds grew more than a dozen above-ground stems, and even one plant gave out twenty or thirty above-ground stems, but there were also a few plants that even had only a lone pole.

Obviously, if nothing else, the ginger beneath the plant that now grows twenty or thirty above-ground stems must have a lot of lump, and this one should undoubtedly be much more productive than most ordinary species that have only a dozen above-ground stems.

As for the kind of ginger that only has one pole, if it is still like this after cultivation, if the ginger taste below is not desirable, it will naturally have no great planting value and can only be eliminated.
