The performance ended successfully, and many students asked to sign up for the Taijiquan Association that afternoon. According to the personnel standards formulated by Tian Chuan in advance, Yuan Feng and Zeng Wenxuan, who were in charge of recruiting new people, conducted a preliminary screening of applicants, but in fact, they did not screen many people, and they did more membership registration work. He is in charge of the financial affairs of the association, and records the membership fees and clothing fees paid by the members, as well as the sponsorship fees provided by Tagawa, as well as the support expenses that Tagawa brought from the Department of Physical Education and the school.
At this stage, Tagawa's activities for the association are divided into three parts.
The first is the teaching of Tai Chi routines, which is mainly responsible for Zhang Jianzhong. Start with basic footwork, hand shapes, body postures, and move on to the simplified twenty-four, forty-two styles at the back. Interested members can also choose to learn the routines of each genre or the instrument routine.
The teaching of routines is not a one-trick teaching, but mainly self-study, and then the senior brother who is familiar with the routines corrects the movements. Tagawa and several basic members set aside a certain amount of time each week to guide everyone in the training ground.
In order to facilitate everyone's practice, Tian Chuan set up a reference room in the association, and basically collected all the common Tai Chi books on the market for members to borrow. A lot of video materials have also been prepared. He applied for another house next to the association's office, equipped with projection equipment, and broadcast various video materials at regular intervals every day. There is a class schedule, what time to put what, and members can arrange their own viewing time in advance.
Tian Chuan invited a number of Tai Chi celebrities in Beijing to shoot a teaching video of the routine, which was also played in the video room.
The second is a lecture on the basic theory of Taijiquan.
In addition to the basic theoretical books, he has prepared weekly lectures for his members, most of which are given by famous people in the Tai Chi world. Lectures are usually held in large classrooms in the main building of the school, mostly on weekend evenings, attracting a large number of students.
The third is physical training and push-hand teaching.
This part of the teaching is the most attractive. Tagawa has been writing the syllabus for competitive promoters since before the Spring Festival, and has completed the first draft, which is being tested in the association's teaching.
He divided the training into two parts: basic physical training and pusher skills training, the physical fitness part was guided by the teachers of the physical education department, and the skill part was responsible for himself and Zeng Wenxuan. He set a fixed time per week for students to volunteer.
At the same time as carrying out the activities of the association, he completed the compilation of the assessment outline of the Tai Chi pusher grade division in April, and sent the outline to all the Tai Chi celebrities for review. In order to determine the important work plans of the competitive Tai Chi pushers, he also suggested that representatives from each school should be elected and a competitive Tai Chi Pushing Committee should be established to vote on some crucial issues in promoting the work of the competitive Tai Chi pushers, such as the evaluation of the grade assessment outline.
At the end of April, the news came back that the major schools had agreed to set up a committee, and at the same time proposed improvements to the rating scheme proposed by Tagawa. After communicating with various schools, Tagawa decided to hold the inaugural meeting of the Competitive Tai Chi Pusher Committee in Beijing on May 3. Tian Chuan promised that he would personally bear the cost of the conference. He booked a room and a conference room for everyone at the five-star Beijing Hotel. The itinerary of the meeting is relatively compact, report on May 2, hold the inaugural meeting of the Competitive Tai Chi Pusher Committee on the morning of the 3rd, hold a discussion meeting on important issues on the afternoon of the 3rd, inspect the Taijiquan Association of Agricultural University on the 4th and guide the work, close the conference on the evening of the 4th, and end the hotel service on the morning of the 5th.
In order to prepare for this conference, Tian Chuan will pay nearly 150,000 yuan, and he has already provided more than 100,000 yuan in sponsorship fees for the Taijiquan Association, and he feels more and more that the money in his pocket is not enough.
Before the start of the meeting, he also had to determine the draft of the various topics that need to be reviewed and voted on by the conference, as well as the draft of the organizational form of the Athletic Tai Chi Pusher Committee, which was less than a week away from the meeting, and the work was very intense. There was no way, he pulled Liu Meiting and Sun Pengfei over to help, and handed over the organization of the meeting to the two of them, while he devoted all his energy to the preparation of copywriting.
In the midst of extreme busyness, the time has entered May 2nd, and the conference will be held tomorrow, and today is the day for all delegates to report. Through Li Tao's connections, Tian Chuan invited many media to report on the matter, and also invited the leaders of the State General Administration of Sports and the leaders of Jingcheng, as well as the famous martial arts star Li Jie, the contemporary helmsman of the Liu family, who is closely related to Yang-style Taijiquan, Liu Meiting's uncle, and Liu Changan, minister of public security, to participate.
On the afternoon of the 2nd, a large banner was hung in front of the Beijing Hotel: "Warmly celebrate the inaugural meeting of the 'Competitive Tai Chi Pusher Committee'". In front of the side entrance of the hotel, a long red carpet was laid out, and a colorful door was tied with flowers and colored silk, in front of the door was a display stage, surrounded by lights is a signing table, on which are placed the traditional four treasures of the study and the Western-style signature pen. The red signature book is similar to suede, which is convenient for writing with brushes and rollerballs.
Tagawa prepared a red carpet entrance ceremony similar to a film festival for the guests, and also invited a professional host. In order to increase the influence of this sport, he also fought hard.
At half past five, the first guest arrived in a courtesy car, and the one who got off the bus was a heavyweight in the Taijiquan world, Master Liu Mingtang, the head of Yang-style Taijiquan. Master Liu was dressed in a purple Tang costume and looked solemn and generous. He strode to the autograph table, and under the guidance of the hostess, after leaving his name on the autograph, he looked up and smiled, paused for the media to take pictures, and then walked to the banquet hall inside.
The second guest made familiar people smile, it was Tagawa who had been busy here for the past few days. The host introduced him as "a rookie in the Tai Chi boxing world, a master of Tai Chi Tui, and the initiator of the competitive Tai Chi Tuishou movement".
Then a famous person in the Tai Chi world arrived one after another and walked into the venue from the red carpet. The atmosphere at the scene is getting more and more enthusiastic and is about to reach its peak. , the famous martial arts star Li Jie came to the scene with his daughter Li Bingyang, and walked into the venue in the flash of the reporters. Subsequently, the leaders of the General Administration of Sports of the People's Republic of China, the mayor of Beijing and other heavyweight guests arrived one after another, which detonated the atmosphere of the scene.
At the end of the entrance ceremony, Liu Changan, Minister of Public Security, accompanied by his niece Liu Meiting, came to the scene, and the host introduced: "Minister Liu Changan is a loyal fan of Taijiquan, who has practiced Yang-style Taijiquan for many years, and is a close friend of many celebrities in the Taijiquan world. Then he introduced Liu Meiting, who accompanied Liu Chang'an: "Accompanying Minister Liu was his niece, Liu Meiting, an official disciple of Yang-style Taijiquan, who is a master of Taijiquan. In the non-group competition of the National Tai Chi Pusher Competition held last year, he won the runner-up. ”
After the entrance ceremony, a welcome reception was held in the hotel's VIP lounge. The reception was in the form of a buffet combining Chinese and Western, and everyone had a lively conversation on the common topic of Tai Chi. A number of guests took time to be interviewed by media reporters during the reception, expressing their support and expectations for the emerging sport of competitive Tai Chi pushers.
In a joint interview with a number of media, Tian Chuan said: "Taijiquan has been spread in China for a long time, and it is a popular sport, but in recent years, Taijiquan has developed more and more like a pure fitness sport, and its essence as a fighting skill has been basically ignored by people." The purpose of organizing this conference is to give full play to the role of Taijiquan in combat techniques and push Taijiquan to a new peak. I am an obsessive of Tai Chi and a promoter of Tai Chi Push Hands. I hope to see Tai Chi pushing hands on the Olympic Games one day, and I hope to see super Tai Chi masters like Zhang Wuji, whom Mr. Jin Yong described in "Heaven and Dragon Slayer". ”
A reporter asked: "Mr. Tagawa, I heard that you have paid a lot for the promotion of Taijiquan sports, whether it is energy or money, and I heard that this conference was hosted by you personally." What is your purpose in doing this?"
Tagawa said, "My love for Tai Chi is simple. I hope to be able to do something for the traditional quintessence of Taijiquan and support the development of Taijiquan, which is my purpose. ”
On the second day, the inaugural meeting of the "Competitive Tai Chi Push Committee" was held in the large conference hall of the hotel, and more than 40 representatives of major Tai Chi schools, representatives of the General Administration of Sports of the People's Republic of China and representatives of the National Wushu Association attended the conference. At Tagawa's proposal, a committee of fifteen members was formed. The composition of the 15 seats is as follows:
Sun, Wu, Wu, Yang, and Chen each have two seats, the State General Administration of Sports has two seats, the National Wushu Association has one seat, and the public has two seats. Tian Chuan and Li Jie each won one seat as social representatives.
Everyone unanimously agreed to set the full name of the committee as the "Taijiquan Exercise Committee", which will be the highest adjudication body for Taijiquan Sports, and has the highest power over the rule-making, level assessment, and institutional certification of Taijiquan Sports. When voting on a general question, it is adopted by a majority of the deputies. When it comes to major issues such as the adjustment of the committee's own structure, the consent of more than 11 members is required before it can be passed.
Subsequently, the newly released committee discussed and voted on a number of proposals, most of which were put forward by Tagawa.
At the end of the day, Tian Chuan's proposals such as "establishing a Taijiquan Rating Committee", "Taijiquan Rating Standards", "Competitive Taijiquan Tuishou Competition Rules", and "Competitive Taijiquan Tuishou Competition Facilities and Referee Rules" were all approved. By the way, a Taijiquan Rating Committee, composed of all members of the Taijiquan Sports Committee, was also established. The committee first determined that the level of the heads of each school was yellow, among which Sun Zhenying, the head of the Sun style, was unanimously designated as the purple level. Wu Lao is the only senior who has been rated as yellow in addition to the heads of various factions. At the meeting, Tian Chuan, Chen Mingyuan, Zhang Yunyi and others were rated as red. Liu Meiting is rated as green, and her pushing ability is not weak, but her understanding of Tai Chi theory is a little worse. Among the Taijiquan people present, Sun Pengfei and those of similar level were designated as the green level, Zeng Wenxuan of the Taijiquan Association was also at the green level, and Zhang Jianzhong was at the white level.
In the grading rules, the grading requirements for each level are clearly stipulated, especially the black, white and blue level 3. The rules state that two or more senior fighters can grade a lower-division fighter, but all grading records must be submitted to the rating committee for approval before they can be validated.
The rules also stipulate that each major level is divided into three sub-levels, which can normally be upgraded twice a year. Purple and Gold levels are not awarded in principle, because no one has assigned them to them. However, the evaluation committee unanimously approved the award of the purple grade to those who have made special contributions to Taijiquan in the yellow rank. The gold level can only be awarded to Yang Luchan and Sun Lutang, who have made great achievements in the cause of Taijiquan and have made particularly outstanding contributions to the development of Taijiquan, and have made a generation of grandmaster-level figures with great social influence.
There is a certain amount of controversy about the red level obtained by Tian Chuan, and Liu Mingtang strongly advocates that he be designated as the yellow level, believing that Tian Chuan's boxing skills are superb, his pushing kung fu is extremely strong, his comprehension of Taijiquan, and his contribution to the development of Taijiquan are outstanding, and the yellow level is well deserved. Wu Fengchun, the head of the martial arts, thinks that Tian Chuan is too young, and many of the rules he formulated when he implemented competitive Tai Chi Tuishang deviated too far from traditional kung fu, and now he is unable to take on the responsibility of a red-level master, and should be set at the green level. The majority view is red, and this is the result of the final compromise of everyone.
The only proposal that Tagawa put forward was rejected was the proposal to build his own website. For this proposal, everyone's controversy is relatively large, and many predecessors have raised objections, believing that the Internet is the patent of scientific and technological personnel, and has nothing to do with Taijiquan, and it is a waste of money to make a website. Tagawa spent a lot of words, but he didn't convince everyone, and the proposal was finally rejected. In the end, Tagawa said that he would fund the website himself, and in the future, if the committee deems it necessary to take back the management of the website, he will donate the website to the Taijiquan Sports Committee.
At the end of the meeting, the question of funding for the Tai Chi Sports Committee was discussed. The Committee's sources of funding include grants from the General Administration of Sport of China, fees for grading, advanced training courses, certification of coaches, registration fees for organizing competitions and advertising revenues, as well as social donations. Among them, the income from level assessment and coach qualification certification shall be shared with the organizers, and the committee shall collect 30% of them.
After this issue was discussed, under the leadership of Chen Yue, everyone paid their own basic assessment fees and coach qualification certification fees. The level assessment fee is 30, 50, 100, 150, 500 and 2000 respectively from black to yellow. Purple and Gold levels are free of charge. The high cost of red and yellow levels is due to the fact that the assessment above red level needs to be discussed and approved by the level assessment committee, and remote voting is sufficient.
Coach qualifications are required to be above the green level, which is divided into four levels, of which the first level is the highest. Level 1 coaches should be discussed and approved by the certification committee, and other levels should be approved by more than three high-level coaches or fighters above the green level and submitted to the certification committee for approval. Coaches automatically have the qualifications of referees at the same level and are issued double certificates. The qualification certification fee for coaches is 1000, 2000, 3000 and 5000 yuan respectively from level 4 to level 1.
Tian Chuan is a first-level coach and a red-level boxer, and he paid a total of 5,500 yuan.
After collecting the fee, everyone found that the Taijiquan Sports Committee had already had its first income, and more than 100,000 yuan had been paid - no one had taken the certified share.
After the meeting, everyone asked the major media to publish a series of regulations and resolutions of the Taijiquan Sports Committee, as well as the list of members.
