A few words of 190,000 words
It's been a long time since I've seriously written a novel, at least for more than a decade. Pen Fun Pavilion wWw. biquge。 info
And, strictly speaking, this is my first "web novel" in the true sense of the word.
Whether it's a short or medium-length novel, a biography, or a game strategy essay, they've all gone for traditional paper publishing.
My writing style and aesthetic orientation are far from the mainstream of online reading, and I knew this from the beginning.
So I wrote this book very hard and with great difficulty, it's true. Because I haven't written for a long time, because of the change in style due to the change in audience, because this book touches on areas that I didn't pay much attention to or even knew about before...... All in all, it was much more difficult to write this story than I had imagined before I started writing.
…… Before I knew it, I had written 190,000 words, which is equivalent to the full length of my previous fantasy novel, "The Mercenaries of Elpaxia".
It was almost after more than 20 chapters that I slowly found my senses and grasped the "ah, this is the narrative style I want", and before that, I was walking at night with my eyes closed, just like the post at the top of the book review area, which was simply a running account.
But what I can guarantee is that from the beginning to the present, and until the end of this book, I will write carefully and carefully.
From the time this book was uploaded to the present, it is basically between more than 3,000 words per chapter, two chapters a day or one chapter update rate, and most of the time it is one chapter.
This is because my writing habit is always like to read it a few times after publication, on the one hand, to correct the typos caused by the input method, and on the other hand, to examine the rhythm of the plot advancement and the burial and unveiling of various clues. The second reason is that in order to develop the story in the future, you need to make up a lot of things in advance. The third reason is to weave the outline of the plot behind while writing the previous story.
So most of the time I can only maintain one shift, and this is still on the premise that I basically have no manuscripts.
The book has not done well so far, with lackluster clicks, recommendations, and favorites, and the book review section is empty except for updated chapters and various advertisements. This is the direction I have chosen, I will not complain, I will only try to do better.
I was very pleased to be on the Sanjiang Potential List this week, and I had a few more collections on the first day, so I wanted to see if I could maintain the rhythm of the second watch this week, which I dare not promise, but I will definitely do my best.
I don't have the luxury of asking readers for extra tips or comments, in all fairness, I didn't put down my body when I wrote my own articles to deliberately cater to the mainstream market, and I didn't have the consciousness of "killing or dying" to please the audience, so naturally I have no position to ask readers to make extra contributions for me.
I just hope that if you like this book, please put it on the shelf, if you feel a little touched or happy while reading this book, please give me a recommendation ticket, and if you have any thoughts and opinions, please leave me a comment in the book review section. Let me see and feel your support, which will be the greatest encouragement that accompanies me to write this book.
Thank you.
