There is also an interesting record in the genealogy, that before the Ming family fled to Baoning, they were responsible for the construction of the Ming Yuzhen Mausoleum and the Ming Altar. Originally, Ruiling chose the site on a halfway mountainside in today's Eling, but for some reason, halfway through the project, it suddenly stopped, and Ruiling moved to Jiangbei City north of the Jialing River.
