Chapter 676: Joint Declaration of the Eastern Soviet Union!
"Why does the United States have to fight with the Eastern Union?"
"If we can restore and maintain friendly relations with the Red Huaxia, why can't we adopt the same policy with the Eastern Union?"
"If the United States really imposes sanctions on the Eastern Union, it will undoubtedly completely push the Eastern Union into the arms of the Soviet Union! This is absolutely not in line with the interests of the United States in the Asia-Pacific region!"
In an interview with the Associated Press reporter in Mandalay, Henry Kissinger, former US Secretary of State and personal state adviser to Yang Weiping, head of state of the Eastern Union of the United States, solemnly reminded the United States that it must be cautious in its policy toward the Eastern Union Union.
"I think the U.S. is overly sensitive about the Kra Canal project. There are a lot of very good plans in the world that have not been implemented so far, and the plans that have not been realized are just a plan. Many times, plans don't change as fast as they come.
I still know Sir John Young a little better. I am not at all surprised that he can be the head of state of the Eastern Union Union. Mr. Reagan, as far as I can remember, neither Sir John Young himself, nor his Tiangong Shi Ye and his Tiangong Group, seem to have been unfriendly to the United States.
On the contrary, there are many powerful enterprises in the United States that have good cooperative relations with Tiangong Group, including General Motors, Pratt & Whitney, Lockheed, Boeing, Grumman, Mobil, DuPont and other conglomerates that have a weighty position in the US economy.
Perhaps, it is possible to seize the advanced technology mastered by the Eastern Union by means of warfare, just as we carved up Germany at the end of World War II. However, given that we all have a nuclear bomb, a terrible weapon that can destroy the planet and all of humanity, I don't think there will be a global world war like World War II.
Although Britain and the United States are firmly allies, the royal family and the cabinet are not in favor of taking military measures against the Eastern Union when it comes to dealing with the Eastern Union. Perhaps this may restore the interests of the United States, but it is not in the interests of England. Therefore, it is better to negotiate through the means of consultation. to resolve the political crisis in Southeast Asia that may arise as a result of the Kra Canal project. ”
These are the exact words that Margaret Thatcher said to Reagan when British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher had a telephone conversation with US President Ronald Reagan.
Obviously, Britain is very dissatisfied with the fact that the United States failed to stand firmly on the British interests in the Anglo-Argentine war and the Sino-British negotiations in Hong Kong. Therefore, Margaret Thatcher was also happy to see Sir Young adding to the obstacles of the Americans.
Anyway, the British Empire doesn't have much interest in the Strait of Malacca right now. Britain's interests in the Far East and the Asia-Pacific were largely wiped out after the end of World War II, and even India, once the brightest diamond in the crown of the British Empire, was taken away by the United States.
The Federal Republic of Germany, arguably the country with which the Eastern Union has the deepest and most extensive cooperation, is not one of them. Therefore, the Federal Government of the Federal Republic of Germany did not take much hold of the United States' call for comprehensive sanctions against the Eastern Union at all.
As for Huaxia, after the United States shouted that it would impose sanctions on the Eastern Union, Deng Gong immediately stood up and spoke: "The Eastern Union is a sovereign country, and the Kra Canal Project is a great project that the Eastern Union and Thailand are preparing to implement in order to develop their respective domestic economies.
Southeast Asian and smooth dìng. It is related to the peace and stability of the world. As a responsible major country, it should contribute to the promotion of world peace and stability, and should not forcibly interfere in the internal affairs of a sovereign country.
Oriental Union Trading, led by Mr. Yang Weiping, has made outstanding contributions to the scientific and technological development of all mankind in the world. Many of their scientific and technological achievements have benefited human society. Huaxia hopes to further strengthen bilateral trade and technical cooperation with the Eastern Union of China, and jointly contribute to the maintenance of world peace and the benefit of all mankind. ”
After Deng Gong's speech, the Eastern Union and the Soviet Union issued a long-awaited joint statement of the Eastern Soviet Union by the media and governments of all countries in the world.
The two countries will work to further strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination between East and Soviet Union based on equality, trust, mutual support, common prosperity, and friendship for generations to come. We should abide by the right to respect each other's interests and to independently choose our social system and development path, and not to interfere in each other's internal affairs. The principle of mutual support, mutual benefit and win-win results on issues of core interests such as sovereignty, territorial integrity and security is non-confrontational.
Yang Weiping and Andropov jointly pointed out that this principle is one of the most important priority directions in the diplomacy of East and the Soviet Union, which conforms to the fundamental national interests of the two countries and is conducive to the development and prosperity of the two countries. Tongguò works closely together, including the establishment of additional consular offices in Tongguò, to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of citizens of the two countries.
On international issues, East and Soviet sides pointed out that the Cold War pattern between the United States and the Soviet Union is changing in the world today. The interdependence of countries will be further strengthened, and the reform of the global economic governance mechanism will be gradually implemented. The role of emerging economies is constantly increasing, and the trend of multipolarization in the world is developing in depth. The need to address today's global challenges requires the two countries to work together in various forms of collaboration and mutually beneficial cooperation.
The East and Soviet sides advocated that the international community should make joint efforts in the following areas:
In the field of politics, cooperation in various fields should be carried out on the basis of equality and mutual respect, the principle of the rule of law in international relations should be promoted, multipolarization and democracy in international relations should be promoted, the central role of the United Nations should be strengthened, and the Charter of the United Nations should be adhered to and universally recognized principles and norms of international law, oppose attempts to revise and arbitrarily interpret them, respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries, respect the right of the people of all countries to independently choose their social systems and development paths, adhere to the peaceful dialogue to resolve contradictions and differences, and oppose interference in the internal affairs of other countries;
In the economic field, we will carry out cooperation and complement each other's advantages, promote the development of economic globalization in a balanced, mutually beneficial and mutually beneficial direction, establish a fair, open, reasonable and non-discriminatory international trading system, work together to implement the United Nations Millennium Development Goals, and actively play the role of international and regional economic and financial organizations;
In the field of security, China will carry out cooperation on the basis of equality and mutual trust, establish fair and effective mechanisms to safeguard common, equal and indivisible security, abandon the Cold War mentality and bloc confrontation, and oppose the use or threat of force in circumvention of the UN Charter.
In the field of humanities, we not only maintain national characteristics, but also learn from each other. Respect cultural diversity, promote the elimination of spiritual barriers and ideological prejudices between peoples of all countries, strive to establish a genuine dialogue among civilizations, and use cultural exchanges as an effective tool for achieving harmony in international relations;
In the field of environmental protection, we will carry out international cooperation, use innovative technologies to follow the path of sustainable growth, and realize the harmonious coexistence of man and nature.
The two sides stated that the Kra Canal is of great significance for maintaining the economic prosperity and stability of the Indochina Peninsula and is in line with the common aspirations of all parties concerned. Achieving this goal is essential to maintaining peace, stability and security in the Asia-Pacific region. The two sides resolutely oppose any act that is detrimental to the peace and stability of the Indochina Peninsula and hope that the countries concerned will exercise restraint and avoid further complication of the situation on the peninsula.
The two countries will connect the Guò Kra Canal to promote economic cooperation among the countries of the Indochina Peninsula, with the implementation of large-scale cooperation projects in the fields of energy, energy conservation, transportation, agriculture and high technology. In order to provide financing guarantees for the above-mentioned cooperation projects, the two sides will actively promote the establishment of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and the Mandalay Cooperation Organization.
The two countries stressed their firm support for safeguarding the sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity of Iran and Iraq, and their scrupulous adherence to the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, stressing that the development of the Iran-Iraq situation is of great significance to peace and stability in the Middle East and the world at large.
Dongsu made it clear that the role of the Asia-Pacific region in global affairs is rising. The two sides welcomed the strengthening of regional integration and multilateral cooperation, and pointed out that the process is conducive to strengthening multipolarization and democratization of international relations and maintaining peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region.
The two sides believe that there are still many challenges and threats in the Asia-Pacific region, and all countries in the region need to work together to deal with them. The priority task of the two countries is to strengthen mutual cooperation and promote the joint initiative of the two heads of state to build a pattern of security and sustainable development in the Asia-Pacific region, so as to safeguard the common interests of all countries in the region and maintain a stable and secure environment.
The issuance of this joint statement of the East and the Soviet Union has stirred up a thousand waves with one stone and has aroused strong repercussions around the world. (To be continued......)
