In retrospect, it was a bit presumptuous, as Albin felt that a big man like Vader's actor must have received tons of emails from Star Wars fans every day, and to his surprise, he quickly received a reply from his agent, saying that Dave was thrilled that the 501 Legion had invited him to be the leader, and that he was very much looking forward to the Legion's future achievements.

Later in the event, Vader's actor Dave Blause also participated in the event they organized, which of course had something to do with the official push to push the boat.

Albin was so inspired that in 2002 he embarked on a somewhat bold plan. He hoped that the 501 Legion would be able to do what other fan clubs couldn't, to organize the Imperial soldiers and establish partnerships with these legends. The Legion will welcome Star Wars stars to join the Legion as honorary members, and when they come to the location of the Legion branch, they will be supported by the Legion, and the 501 Legion can accompany them in prop costumes for autograph events, as well as take them to eat and drink, and can also pick them up at the airport, and the Legion members will be very professional and regardless of the reward.

Of course, there are always a bunch of difficulties in everything. This is indeed a difficult task, in what capacity does the Legion do this? how do you invite these stars, how do you approve them to join? what does the Legion give them as proof of membership, how do you award it to them, and who pays for it?

Later that year, Comic Con in Highpoint, North Carolina, would feature three of Star Wars' most famous Star Wars writers: Alan Alston, Michael Starkpole, and Timothy Zahn, and it was a great time to implement the new idea.

As the comic book opens, Albin arrives at the hotel and meets the newly appointed commander of the Carolina garrison and a group of local legionnaires who are busy with the event, and everything is arranged in an orderly manner, and eventually, 7 Stormtroopers and 3 Scouts line up to present the commemorative plaques, and the three writers express their heartfelt gratitude to the Legion and accept the invitation. They carefully held the commemorative plaque presented by the Legion and asked for the details of the 501st Legion, and were full of praise for the prop uniforms.

The ceremony seemed to be a success, and Arbin could report to the entire Legion that the three Star Wars heavyweights had become friends and companions of the 501st Legion, and a successful example for future events, but the event was much more than that, and that night, the most important moment in the history of a Legion suddenly arrived.

After a long day of Comic-Con, the Legion members gathered in the lobby to rest and chat, when Timothy Zahn appeared, and the world-renowned Star Wars writer walked over to the large table where everyone was and took a look at the Legion's props, costumes, and photos, as well as the seven-page introduction to the 501 Legion in the latest Star Wars magazine. In the year since, the Honorary Members' program has continued and expanded, and many stories have happened. A year later, at another Comic-Con, Albin met Timothy again, and he told Albin the news: in his upcoming Star Wars titles, the 501st Legion would appear as a character.

On February 3, 2004, "The Test of Survival" was released, which described the 501 Legion, a group of "Vader's Fist" storm soldiers, and then another electronic "Fool's Protocol" involved more 501, this fledgling fan club was awarded the highest honor, was mentioned in the official written work, and Timothy also deliberately wrote in the book about the real 501 Legion engaged in some charity activities as a Star Wars character.

In 2005, the 501st Legion officially appeared in the film "Revenge of the Sith", following Anakin Skywalker, who had fallen into the dark side of the Force, into the Jedi Temple to purge the Jedi Knights, the guardians of the Republic.

From fan groups to official characters, this is how the 501 Legion entered the world of Star Wars, which did not end up after its release like other movies, but has always had a strong vitality. This stems from the love of Star Wars, and the reward of this love also deepens the affection.
