After reading "Rural China".
At first, when I picked up this book, which spanned so many years, I was a little skeptical that what Mr. Fei Xiaotong said in the book did not conform to the current social concept, and would conflict with the ideas I have now.
When I calmed down and read Mr. Fei's works carefully, I thought I was wrong.
There is also such a person, his insight into China's grassroots society is so profound.
Of course, profound insights are not accompanied by a bitter and difficult way of writing, but all of them talk about very solid theories, and there are no very profound research terms.
In the preface at the beginning, Mr. Fei made it clear that the main purpose of the book is to explain what kind of society it is as a grassroots society in China, that is, a rural society.
Then, Mr. Fei started from many aspects to deeply analyze all aspects of the local society.
At the time of reading, I was brainwashed by the word "soil" for a while.
In fact, in my consciousness, the word "soil" is the same as Mr. Fei's understanding, and it is not derogatory.
In other words, I rarely use this word, so I will respect it, because behind it there may be a simplicity that no one can defile.
Today, with the rapid development of cities, there will be less and less space for the existence of the countryside, so we go to read this book "Rural China" and take a closer look at the people and things in it, I think this is a good thing.
The Chinese nation made its fortune and survived on the land, and I think that as long as it is not those who are at the extreme of crime, they will have a sense of closeness to the rural society depicted in the book.
I'm no exception.
There is a scene in the article that may have been seen more in the movie.
That is, the countryman can communicate fluently in daily life, but if they are given a piece of paper and a pen, it will be difficult to move an inch.
Words, in Mr. Fei's narration, have no soil for survival in the local society.
So there are many illiterates in the grassroots society.
Someone may laugh and laugh at the illiterate and illiterate.
But they have their way of life.
They are already familiar with each other, and sometimes they can understand each other's meaning with a single look.
They live happily in a society that they know each other, and sometimes it seems that they are more peaceful than the modern society, which is full of deceit.
So, don't be blinded by the label of illiteracy, there are many charms about rural society.
Stepping on the land of China, a common soil supports us.
The food that must be eaten every day also comes from the land and from the kind local society.
It can be said that the roots of our descendants of Yan and Huang are all planted in the soil.
A copy of "Native China" is the source of our life.
In the meantime, I think I can't get enough of it at one time.
I hope to have the opportunity to read more in the future.
