Chapter 584: Golden Body Relic Liquan Spear

For the fifth red envelope from another world, Zhou Rui won the "Golden Body Relic" in "The Legend of Jigong".

This golden body relic is the relic of Jigong after his death in the world.

Moreover, this relic is not an ordinary relic.

It is a golden body relic that is formed.

Regarding the relics, Zhou Rui also has them in his hands.

It is also the Buddha bone relic of Shakyamuni.

This relic is not unprecious.

However, there are no markings on this thing.

You say that this is the relics of Shakyamuni, who believes it?

There is a kind of evidence.

If so, things are awkward.

Zhou Rui has fart evidence that this is Shakyamuni's relics.

DNA identification?

Joke.

Genetic testing?

Play too!

It's no different from turning into ashes and recognizing people.

······

There are actually many types of relics.

In the Vedic era of ancient India, there were two burial methods: burial and cremation, burial and retaining the whole body is the whole body relic, and cremation is the broken body relic.

The relics of the whole body and the relics of the broken body, the bodhisattva's womb sutra and so on are also mentioned. The Lotus Sutra mentions that there are pagodas made with the relics of the Buddha's whole body.

In the Nanhua Temple in Shaoguan, eastern Guangdong, there are the whole body relics of the six ancestors Huineng.

For the broken body relics obtained from cremation, the "Fayuan Zhulin" believes that the bone relics are white, the hair relics are black, and the meat relics are red.

The Essentials of the Buddha mentions that the Buddha relics have five colors and cannot be damaged.

In addition, it is also mentioned in the book "Bathing Buddha Merit Sutra" that there are two kinds of Buddha relics: body and bone relics and Dharma Song relics.

After the Buddha attained Nirvana, he not only left relics on the bones of the body, but also left the Dharma, and spread to the world with the Buddhist scriptures as the carrier, and the Buddha's legacy is the relics of the Dharma body.

Dharma relics are the manifestation of the Dharma body, the Dharma is like a diamond, strong and indestructible, and the Dharma body is indestructible and immortal.

The Vajra of Buddhism is not bad and extends to the body relics, so it is believed that the body and bone relics of the Buddha are also unbreakable.

"Dharma Yuan Zhulin" says: "If the Buddha relics, the vertebrae will not break, and if the disciples are relics, the vertebral blows will be broken."

The fact that the vertebrae here are not broken comes from the idea that the Dharmakaya Vajra is not bad, and in fact, the Buddha's color body also manifests impermanence and corruption as usual.

The body and bone relics of the Buddha and the relics of the Dharma body are often treated equally, and the bones of the Buddha are regarded as the body of the Buddha or the representative of the Dharma. For example, the "Great Nirvana Sutra" says: "If you see the relics of the Buddha, you are seeing the Buddha", and it is also said: "Offering relics is the Buddha's treasure, and seeing the Buddha is seeing the Dharmakaya".

And the relics in Zhou Rui's hands are the "broken bone relics" formed after cremation.

Moreover, it is also a relic formed in the skull after the cremation of Jigong's death.

Precious anomalies.

Not only that, after the skull of the living Buddha Jigong turned into a relic, the monks of Lingyin Temple also shaped a golden Buddha statue for it.

This Buddha statue is not very big.

It is one zhang tall and is almost entirely made of gold.

Most of this gold was donated by wealthy people to thank the Living Buddha Jigong for his contribution to them.

What contribution?

In "The Legend of Jigong", the living Buddha died with the last evil demon in order to save the world.

The lights went out when he died.

Only one corpse remained.

Later, the people of Lingyin Temple cremated Jigong's body.

Dozens of relics appeared.

The largest of them is enshrined in the "Relic Stupa".

The skull relics were placed in the golden Buddha statue of Jigong and encased in it.

On this golden Buddha statue of Jigong, various Buddhist scriptures are inscribed.

In addition to this, it also records the merits of the living Buddha Jigong.

Of course, there are some things about subduing demons and eliminating demons, which is a bit nonsense.

On the golden Buddha statue, the handwriting is the size of a fly's head, densely packed.

Later, this golden Buddha statue was recited by the monks of Lingyin Temple, the Buddha, and the surrounding people.

According to rumors, it was a spectacular scene.

Even more than 10,000 people.

Seven and seventy-nine days later, it is said that some Buddhists saw the Buddha descend and lead Jigong to the world of the "Pure Land of Bliss".

And Jigong also has the "Buddha" fruit position.

······

Therefore, Jigong's reputation has also spread thoroughly, and he has become a living Buddha.

The various relics that degenerated after his death were also worshiped as holy relics by everyone.

Several of them were even used to suppress "evil spirits".

Seal the demons.

In ancient India at the time of the Buddha, there were four burial methods: cremation, water burial, earth burial, and forest burial.

The Buddha listed cremation as the first of all burial methods, and Buddhism has continued to this day.

Before the Buddha went to extinction, he instructed his disciples to collect relics and build a pagoda temple, so that future generations could contemplate the creation of the pagoda when they saw it.

After the Buddha was destroyed, the disciples set up incense wood to burn the Buddha's body according to the instructions. After the Buddha's death, the Buddha's disciples obtained the Buddha's relics from the ashes.

According to the records of the existing Buddha relics and Buddhist scriptures, it can be known that there are roughly two kinds of Buddha relics: one is the unburned bone fragments, such as four teeth, only two remaining, one finger bone, two collarbones, part of the skull and a few hairs, etc., and the other is the bead-shaped relics that are as bright and strong as five-colored beads described in the "Essentials of the Buddha".

Therefore, Jigong's treatment is still quite high.

······

Zhou Rui looked at the golden Buddha statue in his hand, and only felt heavy.

In this golden Buddha statue, there is a relic.

Of course, you can't see anything from the outside, and only by breaking the relics can you get the relics inside.

However, Zhou Rui will not do this kind of thing of killing chickens and taking eggs.

It's better to let it be hidden in it.

In the sixth red envelope from another world, Zhou Rui obtained a divine weapon - Liquan Gun.

The Liquan gun is the god soldier of the anti-gold hero - Yue Fei.

There are three heroes in West Lake, namely Yue Fei, Yu Qian and Zhang Cangshui.

The three of them have formed an indissoluble bond with the West Lake, so they are called the "Three Heroes of the West Lake".

At the foot of the Qixia Ridge in the north mountain of Xihu is buried Yue Fei, the national hero of the Southern Song Dynasty and Yu Qian, the national hero of the Ming Dynasty at the foot of the Santai Mountain of Nanshan, the two tombs echo each other from afar, such as the double bi reflects, forming two scenic spots in the north and south of the West Lake, so the poet Yuan Mei of the Qing Dynasty said: "Lai Youyue is in the double Shaobao, and the world begins to feel the heavy West Lake." ”

The Liquan gun is used by Yue Fei, a famous anti-gold general, and is eight feet long, which is transformed by a spiritual snake.

In "The Complete Biography of Yue", the origin of this gun is described as follows: "Yue flew out of the nunnery, turned to the back, and saw a wisp of flowing spring in the middle of the mountain, and on a big stone next to it, engraved with the four big characters of 'Liquan Wonders', but it was Su Dongpo's handwriting. Yue Fei saw that there was a stone cave on the spring, but there was a big snake head sticking out of the hole, his eyes were shining, and saliva flowed out of his mouth, dripping in the water.

Yue Fei thought, 'What is the benefit of this evil animal, the things in the mouth......? Wait for me to kill him'.

So he put down the tea bowl, took up a big stone, looked at it kindly, and looked at the snake on the head. It's okay not to fight, this fight, not biased or crooked, just hit the snake's head. I only heard a loud sound, and for a moment, the stars were misty; the snake's bronze bell-like eyes revealed golden light, opened its mouth like a blood basin, and looked at Yue Fei rushing into his face, Yue Fei hurriedly turned his body to the side, let go of the snake's head, and took advantage of the situation to drag the snake's tail, a loud sound, and when he looked at it again, where was the snake tail in his hand, but it was a golden gun eight feet long, and the gun barrel had the words 'Liquan Divine Spear'. Looking back, the spring had dried up. There is not a single drop. ”

PS: It's been a busy day, it's enough, it's a headache!
