Chapter 394: Drone Finalization

After more than a year of development, the Tejas UAV has come to fruition.

Although Guanghui UAV Co., Ltd. has been established for a long time, it has not been announced to the public. This time, Guanghui Film and Television began to shoot movies and TV series, and Jiang Hui was ready to let the Guanghui drone also come out to make a bright appearance and assist in shooting some shots.

Cinema equipment is often expensive and bulky. In the past, aerial footage was almost always done by mounting the camera in a helicopter or directly mounting the camera at the front of the aircraft. Not only is this method expensive, but it is also very expensive to produce. In the crew, time is life, and the time it takes to call an airplane, as well as the time it takes to readjust this NG, is very considerable when converted into money.

Because of its unique advantages, aerial photography is mostly used in film and television works to explain the environment or the relationship between characters and the environment. In "Struggle", there are many shots that can be considered for aerial shooting. Of course, if there was no glorious drone, a TV series with a youth urban theme would definitely not have rented a helicopter for aerial filming, but now it is different. The use of glorious drones can not only test the practical performance of the drone, but also advertise the glorious drone, if the shooting effect is good, presumably many crews will have the demand for drone aerial photography in the future. M.

In addition, UAV aerial images have the advantages of high definition, large scale, small area and high current situation. In addition, the UAV provides a remote sensing platform that is easy to operate and easy to transition for aerial photography. Take-off and landing are less restricted by the site, and can be taken off and landed in the playground, highway or other open ground, with good stability and safety, and it is very easy to transfer. This also provides convenient conditions for the popularization of drone aerial photography in the future.

"Mr. Jiang, this is our first drone", Dai Fuqian came to Jiang Hui's office with a large box, and then took out a drone sample from it.

"The shape looks pretty good, let's go to the roof for a test flight," Jiang Hui said.

"How's the aerial photography going?" said the two men as they walked into the elevator.

"We compared the difference between the aerial footage of the Tejas drone and the aerial footage of the helicopter. Because our drones use specially developed cameras and control systems, and at the same time, our drones have functions such as focusing function and tracking system, so the difference in image quality is no longer visible to the naked eye," said Dai Fuqian.

"What about the cost of such a drone?", Jiang Hui said. M.

Tejas UAS is a for-profit company, unlike some government-led research institutes. A product has been developed that must be transformed into a product to make sense. It's not like some research institutes, which use solutions that can't be mass-produced to make something that seems to be very good, and then apply for various awards.

"Since the hardware is all outsourced, and only the software-related things are our own, the price of the final product should be combined with the sales volume. We have calculated that if we can sell 10,000 units, then the cost can be controlled at 3,500 yuan, and if we can sell 50,000 units, then the cost will drop to about 2,500 yuan," Dai Fuqian said.

"In terms of assembly, is the project team's suggestion to build their own factory or find a foundry?" Jiang Hui asked.

Most of the products of the current Celestial Empire enterprises are processed by themselves, and there are still relatively few people looking for OEM, and Foxconn's popularity is not as loud as that of later generations. But in the world, especially in Europe and the United States, OEM has become a very normal phenomenon. Many brands look like foreign brands, but they are all produced by OEM factories in the Celestial Empire.

OEM factory refers to the factory that does OEM processing for some brand products, that is, OEM (original equipment manufacturer (not design, only production)). The profit model of the foundry factory mainly relies on scale effect and low labor cost, but it does not have its own brand and core technology disadvantages, which makes it unable to become stronger, and is always facing a variety of different development difficulties. The general solution of these foundry factories is to find the next low-cost place. The continuous internal relocation of Foxconn in later generations is the best example.

The reason why the OEM model will become more and more popular is that in order to increase the allocation of its resources in innovation ability and reduce the investment in fixed assets as much as possible, it does not directly produce and completes the production task of products by letting other enterprises produce on behalf of them. In the era of smartphones, almost all mobile phones are produced by foundries.

In this way, the OEM only needs to pay the cost of materials and processing fees, and does not have to bear the burden of equipment depreciation and self-built factories, and can flexibly place orders on demand at any time according to market changes. As a result, it can promote the formation of new operating advantages in the finished product business, cultivate and strengthen the internal expansion force of the enterprise, improve the operating ability and management level, so as to create conditions and accumulate experience for a higher level of capital operation.

In the field of foundry, the technical threshold is very low, and many companies have entered this field, and the competition is very fierce, but the foundry earns hard money. But once your production efficiency is high enough, the quality control is good enough, and you can get all kinds of large orders, the scale effect is also very considerable, don't you see Foxconn has hundreds of thousands of employees around the world?

"Our tendency is to build our own small-scale experimental plant to meet the pre-production needs of the company's development. Wait until the sales of the company's products go up, and then consider whether to expand the scale of the factory or find an OEM," Dai Fuqian said.

"Tell me your reasons," Jiang Hui said.

"On the one hand, the UAV business, especially the four-axis we have developed, is the first in the industry, and the foundry has no production experience in this area; in addition, because our products are the world's leading, the demand for confidentiality will be relatively high, and building a factory by ourselves in the early stage can effectively avoid leakage; besides, our products are small in size and high in science and technology, and they do not need a large land area to build a factory by themselves, and the difficulty of construction is relatively low," Dai Fuqian said.

Normally, it takes at least a year for a factory to go from land acquisition to mass production, but if you acquire a ready-made factory for transformation, half a year is enough, so that around this year's National Day, the glorious drone can be listed on a large scale. At that time, the pace of Korn Ferry Group towards industry will be officially begun.

"Yes, since the project team has fully considered all aspects of the situation, let's follow your proposal and acquire a factory for renovation as soon as possible," Jiang Hui said.
