Chapter 5: The Weasleys

I have to say that the Weasleys are a very nice group of people to get along with.

Mr. Weasley had a wealth of experience working with Muggles, and after being introduced by Evan and Hermione, he was very good at reassuring both parents, and was largely invulnerable except for the occasional obsession and surprise with Muggle items.

As for Mrs. Weasley, the first thing she did when she came out of the fireplace was to give a big hug to the children, and even Evan didn't fall behind, even longer than Harry, and she repeatedly thanked Evan for helping Harry, and he was a little embarrassed to say it.

As for the Weasley children, the older Percy greeted Evan and Hermione with extremely formal etiquette, and that meticulous appearance reminded Evan of some nobles.

Behind the model Percy are Fred and George, a pair of very interesting twins who are hardly hated except for the occasional prank.

As for Ron, who had been with Harry since he arrived, Harry's best friend, with a freckled face and a somewhat clumsy look, shouted that he had planned to drive a speeding car to save Harry a week ago, much to the displeasure of Hermione, who was on the sidelines.

By the way, there was also Ginny, who had been following Mrs. Weasley, the same age as Aven, a pretty little girl with red hair, but she was too shy to say a word, and kept staring at Harry with a red face.

After a brief introduction, the group prepared to go to Gringotts, the wizarding bank, to withdraw money first.

This was the first time Evan had seen goblins, and they weren't much prettier than house-elves, but there was a shrewd, cunning glint in his eyes from time to time, which made Evan realize that these were two completely different creatures from house-elves.

They walked up a long white stone staircase into a tall marble hall.

Inside, about a hundred or so elves sat on high stools behind a long row of counters, some weighing coins on copper scales, others examining precious stones with eyepieces, and hastily registering them in the large ledger, and in the hall there were countless doors leading to different places, and many elves directed people in and out of these doors.

Harry and the Weasleys, led by a leprechaun called Rachel, prepare to withdraw money from their vault, while Evan and Hermione need to exchange pounds for wizarding currency in the hall.

Mr. and Mrs. Granger exchanged ten pounds, and Mr. Mason, with Aven's hard soaking, exchanged him for a large bag of gold galleons, far more than the total value of the items on the school's shopping list.

After about fifteen minutes, Harry and the Weasleys emerged from the underground vault.

The group parted on the marble steps outside Gringotts, Percy muttered about buying a new quill, Fred and George saw their friend Lee Jordan at Hogwarts School, and Mr. Weasley, who insisted on taking Mr. and Mrs. Granger to the Leaky Cauldron for a drink.

Evan looked at Harry, he seemed to have something to say to Ron and Hermione alone, and after thinking about it, Evan decided to follow Mrs. Weasley and Ginny to buy school robes and wands.

"Meet at the Blotted bookstore in an hour to buy you textbooks. Mrs. Weasley explained as she took Ginny and Evan and left.

"Also, don't go to Tumble Alley!" She shouted at the twin brother's back.

"Mrs. Weasley, where should we go to buy wands, you know I'm coming to Diagon Alley for the first time. Evan said a little crampedly.

"Honey, we're going to Ollivanders, and you and Ginny need a new wand. Mrs. Weasley turned to look at Evan with a slight smile, "But we need to hurry, there are so many things to buy, and we can't be late for Gilderoy Lockhart's book signing today." ”

"Gilderoy Lockhart?!" Evan frowned, "I saw books on the school list that needed him, and I don't know what the new Defence Against the Dark Arts professor thinks, those books aren't cheap." ”

"Yes, maybe your new teacher is an admirer of Lockhart, after all, he is so great, but it does cost too much to buy five sets of Lockhart's books at once. Mrs. Weasley looked a little worried, "I'm sorry, Ginny, I think you've had a lot of things to buy this year. ”

"It's okay, Mom!" Ginny didn't see how frustrated she was when she knew about it, she winked at Evan and whispered, "My mom is so obsessed with Lockhart, she adores him. ”

"Don't talk nonsense, Ginny!"

Mrs. Weasley's face flushed, "Sometimes, you have to admit that a great wizard like him is very attractive. ”

It's especially attractive to middle-aged and elderly women, Evan covered his forehead with his hand, he didn't have any good feelings for Lockhart, a big liar, anyway, sooner or later it would be exposed, and he didn't want to continue talking on this topic.

In fact, it was Ginny who surprised him even more.

The little girl was no longer as shy as she had been when she first met, and as soon as Harry was not in sight, she immediately returned to her normal state, a very talkative and energetic little girl.

Along the way, she told Evan a lot about her family.

It can be seen that, unlike Ron, Ginny really doesn't care about using second-hand items that her brothers have fallen down, except for one, which is to use second-hand school uniforms, which makes her very frustrated.

While chatting, the three of them came to a small, dilapidated store.

The gold sign on the door has been peeled off, and it reads: Ollivanders: A well-made wand since 382 BC.

In the dusty window, a wand sits alone on a faded purple cushion.

As they entered, there was a jingling bell from somewhere behind the store. Evan looked around, the shop was very small, and there was nothing in front of the counter except a bench.

Not far away, thousands of narrow cardboard boxes stretched almost to the ceiling.

There were all kinds of wands inside, and for some reason, Evan suddenly felt a hairy feeling in his heart, and the dust and silence here seemed to make people feel that there was a mysterious magic hidden here.

Mrs. Weasley led them to sit on the benches and waited, and after a while, a soft voice came from inside the shop.
