In the office building of the Yenching Olympic Organizing Committee, Song Zheng and Zhang Yimou sat side by side on the sofa, and sitting opposite them was Duan Ju, one of the executive vice chairmen of the Olympic Organizing Committee.

That Chairman Liu is not easy to see, Song Zheng has seen it once before, Chairman Liu took a group of people to the rehearsal site, hugged back and forth, and gave a few words of encouragement like routine work, and after that, he didn't see anyone again.

The person who is usually mainly responsible for the contact with the crew of the opening and closing ceremonies is the Duan Bureau in front of him, the deputy director of the General Administration of Sports of the People's Republic of China, and one of the executive vice chairmen of the Yanjing Olympic Organizing Committee.

"Did you two make an appointment to come together today?"

Although Song Zheng is young, he has been thriving in the film and television circles at home and abroad in the past two years, not to mention Zhang Yimou, no matter what has happened in recent years, he has continuously won international awards with his previous works, and has long become a living signboard in the Chinese film and television industry.

Song Zheng and Zhang Yimou glanced at each other, but Zhang Yimou took the initiative to say: "Duan Ju, we are here today to commit a crime!"

Duan Ju smiled: "Where is it so serious, now is not the old society, but there is no such thing, the current work of the two can be said to be very important for the success of the Yanjing Olympic Games, if you have opinions on our work, you can mention it, the organization is also to encourage collective efforts, the opening and closing ceremonies of the performance, the two are experts, we are all laymen, the opinions of the two are also very valuable to us." ”

Zhang Yimou said: "Since Duan Ju has said so, then we are not welcome, Duan Ju also knows that there are only more than seven months before the opening of the Olympic Games, less than eight months, although it seems that there is still plenty of time, but for such a large-scale performance, it is actually very urgent, but, until now, there are still many problems about the rehearsal work of the opening and closing ceremonies, which need to be solved urgently!"

Song Zheng took the initiative to take over the conversation, this matter can't let Zhang Yimou take care of everything alone, since it is two people who came together, no matter what the result is, they have to bear it together.

"Duan Bureau! As for the plan for the opening and closing ceremonies, the small meetings of the conference have been held dozens of times, but up to now, even a complete set of plans can not be come up; today you say a word, tomorrow I will say a word, discussions come and go, but there is always no result, the report I handed in has more than a dozen points, the performance plan has also been put forward three times, each time the reply is to study and study, when exactly to study, there are less than eight months left, the Chinese have been looking forward to the Olympic Games for more than half a century, and if they are not decided, how should the work be carried out. ”

Song Zheng took a breath and sprinkled all the fire that he had been holding in his heart these days, he was not targeting a certain person, the key was that the efficiency of the above was too low, procrastinating, and the car was talking over and over again, just not giving a letter.

"Duan Bureau! I am soft-spoken, but the Olympic Games are now the top priority of our country, I can't say it too much, but, if it goes on like this, I like to speak straight, today, I have to say a word of guilt, if I really mess up in the opening ceremony, I can't afford this responsibility, you can't afford it, even Chairman Liu can't afford it, I came with Director Zhang today, I just want to say, how should I do this work, can I still do it, the performance plan of the opening ceremony must be set as soon as possible, otherwise, the Olympic Organizing Committee will ask Gao Ming, if the opening ceremony is messed upI can't afford to be a sinner through the ages!"

After saying that, Song Zheng was much happier, even if Zhang Yimou didn't come today, he was ready to come to the Olympic Organizing Committee to ask for an explanation, a group of laymen commanded insiders, but laymen didn't even have the courage to come up with an idea, and they said a lot of nonsense, and it was not useful at all, but it made him, a person who does practical things, suffer, how can there be such a truth in the world.

Seeing this, Zhang Yimou hurriedly explained: "Director Song is young and vigorous, and he doesn't pay attention to the way he speaks, don't mind, but that's the case, I know that everyone wants to make the opening ceremony a success for the sake of the Olympic Games, introduce China to the world, and show China, but there are some things, I think it's better to leave it to professional people to do, otherwise, we really can't do it!"

Song Zheng is worried, Zhang Yimou is even more worried, he is the chief director of the entire opening ceremony, if there is a problem in the opening ceremony, he will have to bear most of the responsibility, if a trouble is not good, it will be ruined by the accumulation of a lifetime.

He has also made up his mind, if he doesn't give an explanation, he simply resigns and leaves, he doesn't carry such a big thunder, and he can't afford it.

When Duan Ju heard this, he immediately fell into deep thought, he was very surprised by what Song Zheng and Zhang Yimou said today, and he was indeed a little angry, but if he imagined it carefully, it was not unreasonable.

Although there are many leaders in the Yanjing Olympic Organizing Committee who are higher than him, they are the executive vice chairmen who are really responsible for the specific work.

"Is it really so serious? The two of you should also know that the opening ceremony is very important for the entire Olympic Games, and every link must not be sloppy, and our Olympic Organizing Committee has only met many times to study it from a cautious point of view, and I think it is ~~~~~~~."

Zhang Yimou may be able to endure listening to these official words, but Song Zheng is not so patient, since he entered the group, he doesn't know how much he has heard these words, seeing that this Duan Bureau is still perfunctory, he finally can't help it.

Song Zheng got up and interrupted Duan Ju's words: "When are you going to study it, and the day before the opening ceremony? Every time I report a problem, I am asked to wait for a meeting to study and decide, but I only see the study, when will it be decided?"

Duan Ju's face suddenly changed: "Director Song, what kind of attitude do you have, and you don't talk about organizational discipline!?"

Song Zheng snorted coldly and said: "I don't have any political consciousness, and I'm not a person in the organization, I'm just a director, my job is to put an unprecedented performance at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games and present it to the world, I don't care about the rest, and I don't want to care." ”

Song Zheng has always been very repulsive to the so-called politics, and before he strongly supported the Yanjing Olympic Organizing Committee and angrily rebuked Spielberg, entirely because of the position of being a Chinese, the big right and wrong, where the ass should sit, there is absolutely no room for error.

But if Duan Ju used any "organizational discipline" to hold him hostage, it would definitely be a mistake, and over the years, there have often been people who want to pull him into a certain organization or association, but Song Zheng has refused without exception.

If it is really according to his position in the industry, at least there should be a place in the CPPCC.

Duan Ju was stunned by Song Zheng's words, and the atmosphere froze for a while, Zhang Yimou saw that the heat was almost over, so he quickly got up, pulled Song Zheng and said: "Director Song! ”

On the way here, the two of them discussed, Song Zheng sang with a red face, Zhang Yimou sang with a white face, originally, this offending thing, Zhang Yimou planned to take it over, but Song Zheng did not agree.

In the preparation team of the opening ceremony these days, Song Zheng was exhausted by the toss, if there was no way to solve the problem today, he really planned to pick a child, so he had to come to sing the red-faced scene.

As for whether he will offend people and bring trouble to himself because of this, Song Zheng doesn't care at all, he is in the literary circle, so he will go back and continue to make his movies, and Zhang Yimou is obviously very concerned about political status.

"Duan Bureau! What should be said, we have already said it, Director Song is young, and he speaks more impulsively, you can bear with me, but the reality is like this, the plan can't be decided, our work can't continue, and if it drags on like this, it will be a big deal!"

How important the Olympics are, who dares to joke on this issue.

Zhang Yimou said, quietly touched Song Zheng again, and then said: "Duan Bureau! Let's go back first, we have already handed in the plan, it's time to give us an answer!"

After Zhang Yimou finished speaking, he gave Song Zheng a look, and the two of them withdrew from the office, went downstairs, got into the car, and the two of them looked at each other, and they couldn't help but show a wry smile.

"Director Zhang, find a place and have a drink!"

Zhang Yimou hesitated for a moment, but nodded in response: "Director Song, I really have a headache, what you said just now is too right, research and research, but there is no decision, it is we who are roasted on the fire!"

Song Zheng started the car: "The work is procrastinating, the official has said and said, there is no one who can take charge, and if it goes on like this, the delay is not only the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games." ”

Song Zheng thought about the wonderful performance that Zhang Yimou dedicated to the Yanjing Olympics in his previous life, and really admired him, how he resisted those people and did it.

Zhang Yimou naturally knows what Song Zheng meant, a performance is actually not a big deal, but if this performance is moved to the stage of the Olympic Games, the meaning will be completely different, Westerners have always been very resistant to China's hosting of the Olympic Games, and many people have openly shouted before that China is not qualified to enjoy such a big honor as the Olympic Games.

Therefore, even for this tone, the Chinese must successfully host the Olympic Games, and they must also make the Yanjing Olympic Games the most successful in history.

The opening ceremony is the first appearance of China in front of the whole world of the Olympic Games, and there is no room for mistakes, and time waits for no one!
