Chapter 306: Spider's Tail Alley Talks

Not long ago, at the entrance of Diagon Alley, two men in black robes met "by coincidence".

Snape happened to see Harry Potter on the other side of the street with his godfather, Sirius Black.

He paused his figure abruptly, then approached the other man, bowing respectfully and humbly.

"The hosts. The man hurried over at this point, blocking Voldemort's view.

"Oh, Severus?" Voldemort under the cloak said with a faint surprise, his eyes were slightly cold, and he didn't know what kind of emotions he had for this subordinate.

"This is not the place to talk, may you like to change the location, Lord Dark Lord?" and I will give you a satisfactory explanation. Snape looked around in a feigned panic, his sallow, sickly face a little urgent.

He humbly pleaded.

"As you wish. Voldemort looked at him carefully and said in a hoarse voice.

Walking to the end of the hidden alley, the two used apparition, and no one outside noticed what was happening at the end of the alley.

The void space was distorted, and a faint ripple was raised mysteriously, and the two of them suddenly appeared on the side of an old long street.

On the other side of the long street are rows of dilapidated brick houses, and the windows of the houses look black and lifeless, even in the daytime.

The rows of businesses are closed and sparsely populated, as if they were a completely deserted town.

A male worker covered in oil, carrying a motor in one hand and a wrench in the other, stared at the two people who suddenly appeared in mid-air in a daze, and then felt that he might have been in the factory for a long time and hallucinated.

As soon as he let go of his hand, the heavy wrench hit his instep hard, and the pain was very real.

But if it's a dream, why does it hurt?

He opened his mouth wide and pointed at the two in mid-air, trying to scream, attract the attention of others, attract more workers, and test whether he was hallucinating.

Voldemort frowned, and he directly wanted to kill this Muggle who was in the way.

Snape was just one step quicker than him, and with a flick of his wand, the Muggle worker fell with a dull thud.

Snape saved him, as Voldemort certainly didn't bother to mend the sword.

The cruel Dark Lord doesn't care about the lives of ordinary people.

Actually, Snape didn't really care, he just didn't want to make a fuss.

This is the town of Cokworth, a somewhat desolate town in England, surrounded by half-functioning factories, a filthy river and an abandoned mill with a large chimney.

The environment here is terrible, and many miles away, the river meanders with weeds and piles of garbage on both banks. A huge chimney, the relic of an abandoned mill, stands tall, eerie and ominous. There was no sound in all directions, only the sour sobbing of the river, and no sign of life, except for a lean fox sneaking down the riverbank, hopefully sniffing a few fried fish and potato chips wrappers in the deep weeds.

This is where Snape grew up, and even after all these years, it is still the same old place, perhaps because the local government has abandoned it.

His home has only a cramped living room, which feels like a dim, soft-walled cell. Several walls were lined with books, most of them old black or brown leather covers, and a frayed sofa, an old armchair, and a rickety table sat next to each other. The place has an air of desolation and desertion, and it seems to be uninhabited.

Hogwarts is Snape's second home.

After the death of the person he loves the most, he will not be willing to start a family with any other woman.

After dragging a neat chair for Voldemort, Snape stood stiffly beside Voldemort like an old dead tree, perhaps waiting for him to vent his anger.

After all, it seems that he is also a member of the "traitors", and when he fell, he took refuge in Dumbledore and survived to avoid the prison of Azkaban.

"I don't want to doubt your loyalty, at least if you can appear in front of me now, I should give you enough trust. Voldemort didn't rebuke him.

This is extremely rare for him to be cruel by nature.

Maybe it's because Snape is of great value to him, or maybe it's because he lacks a capable player who can help him.

Snape is impeccable and irreplaceable, both in terms of strength and in terms of the status around Dumbledore.

He has a lot of information for himself.

Whether it's true or not, it's even more unknown.

Of course, with this man's conceit, he would not think that anyone could deceive him to his face.

"Okay, let me think, what can you do for me?"

Snape still had the same dead face, quietly waiting for Voldemort's orders.

"I need to get that full prophecy, it's important, Severus. Voldemort's gaze scanned Snape in front of him, the Potions professor who had come to his aid.

He didn't believe that Snape was really attached to Dumbledore, it was just an instinct to seek advantage and avoid harm, even if it was him.

Look at the man who is suitable for walking in the night, and after his return, even if the form is not clear, he can't wait to return to his command.

In his opinion, it was Snape's instinct.

He had never known this man, and his confident devotion was perfectly concealed, and with the pride of his heart, it could not have happened.

Feeling the scorching heat of the Dark Mark, Snape found the Dark Lord.

The Dark Mark is not only useful when Voldemort actively gathers his subordinates, but also when his emotions fluctuate violently, the Death Eaters can also sense the Dark Lord's emotions.

Whether it's joy, or rage.

This is why Snape was able to find the Dark Lord.

"The last failure, perhaps because I got an incomplete prophecy, I was too impatient, and now, I need more accurate information, I know you have a way, Severus, right?" Voldemort sat down in front of Snape, his pale and slender fingers tapping slowly on the armrest, and then made his request.

This was another of Voldemort's goals to focus on.

"Master, I'll try my best to inquire. Snape bowed and said respectfully.

Almost no one knows what the undercurrents in Diagon Alley and Spider's Tail mean on the eve of the start of school at Hogwarts.
