Chapter 381: Preparation Before the Exam
The cessation of Quidditch competitions has made school life a lot less fun for all students.
If it used to be, every week or two, there would be a game.
However, the tournament has now been completely suspended.
Even the Quidditch pitch has become a forbidden place for students to enter, and it has the same status as the Forbidden Forest.
Even if there was an alternative invented by the Weasley brothers, indoor Quidditch, it was not really a Quidditch match.
What they need is the oncoming howling wind, flying up and down on broomsticks over the field, with the tail of the whisking flying robes, flying at high speed, like a meteor slipping from the sky, squandering their youthful and restless energy in the fierce collision.
But for the fifth-graders, according to the recent atmosphere, even if they haven't stopped, they don't have much leisure to entertain.
The castle's grounds glistened in the sunlight as if they had just been painted, the clear sky reflected on the glittering, calm lake, and the satin-smooth green grass occasionally rippled in the soft breeze.
It's a great day for outdoor sports, with no haze and torrential rain to obscure their vision.
But they have to take exams.
For both Muggle students and wizarding students, the word "exam" is an unbearable pain in life.
June is here, and for fifth-graders, it means just one thing:. The LS exam is finally here.
Teachers no longer give them homework, and class time is spent reviewing the topics that teachers think are most likely to come up in exams.
Sunlight filtered through the wide glass, illuminating some of the books on the shelves with gilded covers.
However, the harsh sunlight affected the students' vision, and a large part of the library was empty, and the well-lit and non-dazzling areas were occupied by students.
Many students have no choice but to go back to their dormitories to revise.
In an inconspicuous corner of the library, Malfoy and Pansy were enjoying the best of almost the best light, gentle and not harsh.
Because the tall wooden bookshelves block the most dazzling light, and the light that faintly penetrates the gaps in the books provides just the right amount of light for the two of them.
A low square table was filled with a stack of tall books, and from the side you could see the spine of the book that reads - "Magical Defense Theory"
Malfoy lowered his voice and was meticulously giving the girl a private one-on-one tutoring.
Two round stools were placed on either side of the square table, and Malfoy sat across from Pansy, looking flat.
Face-to-face teaching is very effective.
"It's just a matter of memorizing it and forcing it to be memorized. β
"To understand thoroughly here. β
"It's going to be a deep test here. It is best to understand the concept thoroughly and deduce it from the top down. β
The quill moves rapidly across the pages of the book, outlining the main points.
A few students occasionally raised their heads, broke free from their books, glanced enviously a few times, and then had to devote themselves to their studies.
"It's like you're asking the question. Pansy listened attentively with her head down, looking at the circled part, but she was not idle and teased.
"There's one last one left. Ignoring Pansy's teasing, Malfoy picked up the last book, the cover of which was a dark blue background, interspersed with strange geometric shapes and lines, and in the middle of the cover was written in black scrawled font - "A Guide to Dream Interpretation"
"Divination?" Malfoy muttered in a slightly confused tone.
"You're better at this than I am. Then he realized that it was rare to make a joke.
"Well, that's all I can do, and the rest is up to you. Malfoy's fingers slid gently over the spine of the stack. Probably glanced at it again
"Hmm. Pansy nodded obediently.
"It's justβ" she stopped.
"Is it really okay if you don't read books yourself, just accommodating me?" she said worriedly.
She wasn't too worried about herself now, but she was afraid that she might have delayed Malfoy too much.
"Didn't I review it already?" Malfoy smiled.
"When?" Pansy looked rather surprised.
"Help you when it's time to review. β
"Okay. Seeing Malfoy's relaxed appearance, Pansy stopped talking.
Indeed, that comfortable appearance doesn't need to worry about yourself
Compared with the two of them, the other students were very miserable
The closer to the exams, the worse the mental condition of the students becomes.
If anyone suffers more than a fifth-grader, it's a seventh-grader.
Exams are more important.
Both George and Fred put aside their prankmaking careers and seriously prepared for their exams.
They hadn't done any new research for at least two or three months.
Mrs. Weasley said that if any of them were below good, they would throw away all the trash they had hidden in the house.
Without Umbridge to inspire their desire to rebel, even the brilliant mischievous genius brothers would have been left silently succumbing to their graduation exams.
Exams are so important that many business-minded students are starting to think about it.
For example, peddling so-called dragon claw powder and brain awakening agents.
Drugs that act on the brain and help memory turn a corner, and some are free on the edge of the rules.
To say that it is cheating is obviously too much, because it is just a magic potion, a means of memorizing knowledge.
A student uses a special learning method to memorize knowledge, and the teacher obviously cannot define it as cheating.
But not punishing does not seem to be justified, and getting something for nothing is immoral, hidden in the simple morality in everyone's heart.
Of course, in fact the tangle is redundant.
Because people with a little sense will know that such a precious medicinal material will not appear in this kind of exam.
Even if it were, it would not be so cheap that an average student could afford it.
These medicinal herbs are priceless in Tumbledown Alley.
There is nothing else possible except that it is fake.
After Hermione made it clear that the medicines were almost all fake from fox and the of the fox, Harry and Ron decisively gave up and read the book.
In addition to ensuring her own revision time, Hermione also went out of her way to go out of her way to practice, because the Defense Against the Dark Arts exam was not purely composed of papers, which was also a point she was more worried about.
The expectations of hard work are different, some students just want to look better, some want to be perfect, and some are struggling on the verge of passing and failing.
The time is getting closer, and the final exam is coming, which will last about two weeks.
"Now, I must remind you that your exam papers have been subjected to the strictest anti-cheat spells. It is strictly forbidden to bring an auto-answer quill into the exam hall, as well as memory balls, detachable entrainment cuffs and automatic error correction ink. I'm afraid to say that it seems like every year at least one student thinks he can get past the rules of the Wizarding Examinations Board. I only wish Gryffindor didn't have it
These were the words that Professor McGonagall warned before the exam.
"No one escapes my eyes. Snape stood on the podium, his words simple but powerful, and with his bottomless pupils, he seemed very convincing.
dispelled the idea of many people to take advantage of tricks.
Their first exam, Spell Theory, was scheduled for Monday morning.
The students took the exams step by step and got through the difficult two weeks.
