Chapter 126: A Shrouded Conspiracy
Professor Lupin, who had been huddled with his head in his hands, stood up in pain, and stood there alone and pitiful.
His gaze swept over everyone and finally on Harry.
He seemed to be looking for a place to hide, but Ron took the opportunity to cast another spell, and Professor Lupin howled miserably, dodging his attack.
"What the hell are you doing, Ron?!" Harry shouted angrily, "Stop attacking, he's Professor Lupin, he's not in danger!"
"Stay away from this monster, Harry!" Ron replied stiffly, "He's a werewolf, he's going to hurt everyone, I'm saving you!"
"No, he didn't, he's Professor Lupin, he's safe, you're fast"
Harry tried to stop him, but Ron didn't seem to hear him.
The wand in his hand grew brighter and stronger, and without the slightest pause, one spell after another was cast.
Before this, Harry had never known that Ron was so strong in the Charm.
Is this still Ron, today's events are so abnormal!
If the Slytherin students had been warned in advance that Professor Lupin was a werewolf, why would Ron be here?!
Everything that is happening now is like a play that has been arranged for a long time, and you only need to wait for the audience to arrive before it can be opened.
Harry couldn't figure out why, from the werewolf attack on Aven and Hermione at Hogsmeade, to Dumbledore's departure, the owl rain in the Great Hall, Professor Lupin's transformation into a werewolf, and Ron's appearance in Lupin's office, it was all too unusual.
It was as if an invisible net was enveloping him, overwhelming Harry, and he could feel a strong sense of intrigue.
He shook his head, trying to bring himself to his senses, no matter what was hidden behind the scenes, he had to stop what was happening in front of him first.
But the scene gradually began to spiral out of control, and all the Slytherin students, led by Ron, began casting spells on Professor Lupin.
Dozens of rays of light struck Professor Lupin at the same time, and he was knocked flying.
He slammed into the wall behind him, covered in blood, and he shook his head to his feet, the wounds healing quickly and with visible speed, Professor Lupin craned his neck and let out a miserable, horrible roar.
The entire office was in chaos, with incantations, shouts, screams, and cries.
Some were backing up, others were moving forward, and more and more students were pulling out their wands and attacking the werewolves.
"Don't!" Harry shouted, trying to stop them, but it was too chaotic.
He saw that Ron was about to attack Professor Lupin again, and he hurriedly waved his wand and shouted, "Armor for protection!"
Harry stopped Ron's spell, he wanted to protect Professor Lupin, but there were too many, too many spells flying towards Lupin, his iron armor spell couldn't absorb so many spells, not to mention that many senior students had a much stronger magic level than him, and the protective barrier shattered in an instant.
Professor Lupin roared, waving his claws in rage, letting out a terrifying roar at the young wizards.
"Stop attacking, stop, he's not a werewolf, he's Professor Lupin!" Harry shouted feebly.
As soon as he finished speaking, Harry suddenly saw a curse fly towards him!
It was Malfoy, who was looking at him with a malicious expression, and he was taking advantage of this opportunity to attack himself.
Just as the curse was about to touch Harry, the terrifying werewolf behind him suddenly leaped up to Harry to block the spell.
Harry knew that Professor Lupin was saving himself, but in the eyes of the others, the image turned into a murderous werewolf pounced on Harry.
"You monster, stay away from Harry!"
Harry heard Ginny crying, and he stepped over Professor Lupin's shoulder to see Ginny screaming her and Ron's names hoarsely, her eyes red from crying.
At the sound of Ginny's voice, Professor Lupin visibly shuddered.
But when he saw the curse that was getting closer and closer to Harry, he resolutely pounced on it, he wanted to protect Harry from harm.
Lupin threw Harry under him, and due to the werewolf's terrifying appearance, he was misunderstood by everyone.
The Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff students, who had been hesitant and did not take action, drew their wands and joined the battle.
"No, I'm fine, he's protecting me," Harry cried out miserably.
Beside Lupin and Harry, Ron's spell strikes again, not caring that Harry is in Professor Lupin's arms.
Or rather, like Malfoy, he was aiming at Harry's attack.
Seeing the flying red light, Lupin hurriedly protected Harry!
Ron's spell flew across Harry's cheek, striking Professor Lupin in the head with unmistakable accuracy.
Lupin roared, his voice filled with pain, blood running down his forehead.
Although he transformed into a werewolf, Lupin still kept his sanity because of the wolf poison potion, and with the strength of his transformation, it was easy to fight back.
But he couldn't, the kids in front of him were his students.
Lupin didn't know why the boy in front of him, Ron Weasley, knew he was a werewolf, and ten minutes earlier, he burst into his office and pointed his wand at him. He didn't say anything, just stood there as if he was scared stupid.
Just as Lupin was about to make a move, there was a sound of footsteps outside the hallway, and Ron, who had not moved, suddenly shouted for help, obviously he had done nothing.
More and more students followed, and he hurriedly ducked under his desk.
But it didn't work, Lupin didn't understand what was going on, maybe he should have left here first, his appearance must have frightened the children.
Just as Lupin hesitated, another round of enchanted light flew over.
With students from Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff also joining the attack, there were hundreds of spell rays this time.
Even with the werewolf's strong vitality and physique, it couldn't resist so many attacks. If he was struck by these spells, Lupin would surely die.
Looking at the spell that was getting closer and closer, Lupin tried to dodge.
But he immediately gave up his resistance, and if he dodged now, Harry in his arms would be hit by these spells, and it would be almost impossible to survive.
Maybe he was going to die here for no apparent reason, and his only regret was that he couldn't catch Sirius Black with his own hands, and he couldn't avenge James, Lily, and Peter Pettigrew. Thankfully, he had told Harry the truth this morning, and the boy was a lot like his father, Jaime, and he would have caught Black instead of him.
