Chapter 303: Diary and Letters
Hogwarts is on vacation, and now it is an eventful time, and the semester is even over early, after all, the exams are completed, and the students are all on the express train back home, enjoying a rare vacation.
Pansy often visited Malfoy's parents at Malfoy's Manor during the holidays to comfort them, and the relationship between the two families became relatively close, and Pansy's father did not alienate them because of such an incident, and often came to visit and reassure.
She spends most of this holiday in her own house, fiddling with something.
"It's a boy's body, which feels weird, and besides, it feels good to have a good foot, and now I'm able to walk normally, but I'm really worried about Draco's game tomorrow, he's definitely dangerous. ”
"I'm still a little shy when I think about it, Draco won't sneak in to see me... I knew that I had lost weight earlier, no, my leg injury was not healed, and I couldn't exercise, so I should eat less. ”
"I knew he was going to win, but he didn't look too happy, was there something going on in the lake? ”
"Tomorrow is the third event of the Goblet of Fire, and I don't know if Draco will win the title, but safety is the most important thing, and he will be able to return safely. ”
"I'm stupid, I should have noticed his abnormality, why didn't I find out? Draco must have known what was going to happen, otherwise he wouldn't have eaten so much at the banquet, he didn't usually like the food that much, but if he knew, why didn't he run away sooner? Of course, he ran away that day. ”
This is one of her diaries, recording some of the events of the previous days, and some of the girl's thoughts.
The girl pulled out a new piece of parchment from the drawer and began to brush and write on it, perhaps as a letter.
"You don't know where to hide now, do you?"
"I'll be left here alone to worry about you, and when you ran away, you didn't forget to kidnap a big beauty, right? You were looking for me at the time, I would definitely be more cooperative with you than her, or do you think she is more beautiful?"
"You'll write to me when you have time, won't you?"
"You're safe now, aren't you?"
"You'll come back alive, won't you?" But the further back she went, the tone of the girl's letter became more and more worried.
It was a letter that could not reach the recipient, and Malfoy was still missing, as if he had evaporated from the world, without the slightest hint of news.
Pansy felt her eyes redden, rubbed the corners of her eyes with her fingers, and then suddenly turned her head to look out the window, and the faint golden light came in from the outside, reflecting on the mirror, shaking her eyes a little.
A few smooth feathers fell outside the window, and Pansy panicked to get up from a wooden chair, walked to the window, opened it, and let the owl in.
The leg injury she suffered due to the black magic is now much better, as long as it is not a sharp run, there is no problem at all to walk normally, as she gets older, her own magic power is also increasing, and the impact and damage caused by this black magic will only get smaller and smaller.
The owl meekly stretched out its legs tied to the letter.
Pansy untied the letter from the owl's feet with some expectation, though she knew that what she was expecting was just a luxury.
"Dear Miss Pansy Parkinson, based on your usual performance, the final grades of previous semesters, the recommendation of the Dean of the House, and your influence in Slytherin House, I hereby award you the position of Prefect in the fifth year, and I hope that you will fulfill your responsibilities in the coming year and beyond, assisting the President of the Student Council and doing a good job in the management of the students. ”
A look of disappointment flashed across her face, even if she was a prefect, she didn't make her much happier, if she had changed to the past, she would definitely proudly show off to the people closest to her.
"I'm a prefect, won't you be surprised?" Pansy slowly sat back in her chair, hunched over, and continued to write on a roll of parchment that she didn't know if it was a letter or a diary.
"If you're still in school and nothing happens, maybe we'll both be prefects, and you'll be able to do it, but it's up to you to see if you're willing, I know you hate these troubles the most. The girl wrote wistfully, she still imagined the two of them wearing the badge of the prefect, standing in front of the auditorium, and talking to the newly admitted first-year freshmen with a serious face.
It must be interesting to see the way those freshmen shivered.
Come to think of it, it's actually quite majestic.
"If you are really caught and imprisoned in Azkaban, I will wait for you, I have checked, underage wizards will not be locked up for too long, many people in Azkaban are sentenced, and now that prison is also destroyed, they will definitely deal with you lightly in the end, Uncle Lucius and Aunt Narcissa are also worried about you. ”
"Uncle Lucius was temporarily suspended by the Ministry of Magic because of you, cooperating with the investigation, but he was soon reinstated, if you know, don't worry too much. ”
Pansy glanced at the newspaper on the table, the latest issue of the Daily Prophet, with a front page of an ugly woman sitting at her desk, hunched over, earnest.
The pink cat decorations in the office had all been removed for the time being.
The lead lettering on it reads:
It is reported that during her tenure as acting minister, Ms. Umbridge worked hard and effectively reformed the wizarding society, and won the competition against her powerful opponent, Rufus Scrimgeur, and finally won the election, hoping that she would become a guiding light in the wizarding world that may be stormy in the future. The Daily Prophet writes, praising the new minister with no hesitation.
It's just that it's still a little worse than Rita Skeeter's pompous and flattering style.
"It's funny, she's ugly, but she's a lot of Uncle Lucius. Pansy glanced at the woman in the newspaper in disgust, then began to write.
Voldemort now has very few people in his hands, and of course Lucius must return to his post in the Ministry of Magic.
"It's time to go shopping in Diagon Alley, and you'll have to buy a black-and-green badge first. Pansy muttered, and then took her things into the cupboard.
