Chapter 207: A Chance Encounter
"Madam Pomfrey, are you there?" Malfoy knocked a few times on the door of the infirmary, and the wooden door made a few dull noises.
"Please come in. A kind voice came from inside the room, and after receiving permission, Malfoy pushed the door open.
"Come in, Pansy. He stepped into the room with one foot and said back to Pansy on a chair outside the door.
"Oh. Pansy reluctantly got up from her chair and walked slowly, limping along, she now felt sick when she smelled the smell of disinfectant, she had smelled enough when she was in St. Mungo, and she didn't think she could escape when she went back to school.
She had now changed back into the Slytherin robes, and at someone's strong request, she had just gone back to the dormitory to change out of the clothes, put away the candy she had purchased, and then came to the infirmary.
The room was still in a pure white setting, and in antiquity with the arrival of the two schools of witchcraft and wizardry, Durmstrang and Beauxbatons, Hogwarts had not spared the medical infirmary, and it had been renovated, the exquisite ceiling was now renewed, and the walls around it had been thoroughly painted, from beginning to end, and the stone floor was dusty, making the room look bright even if there were no lights.
The sound of raindrops crashing on the glass windows was constant, and it suddenly began to rain outside.
The room was surrounded by several long stools for students and teachers to rest, as well as beds covered with linen sheets and new mahogany tables.
"Hey, I hope it's not a flu. Madam Pomfrey was now standing in front of a table full of bottles and cans, her eyes were level, and she was shaking a clear glass intently, and you could see that the green liquid in it was tumbling and bubbling, but it didn't spill at all, but there was still a little complaint and worry in her mouth.
"Please help me close the window, thank you, there are other patients in the room who are afraid of the wind. Sensing the cold wind coming in, Madam Pomfrey stared intently at the potion in her hand as she begged the two men who had just entered the room.
"Okay. Malfoy said, then waved his wand, and with a "bang" the open window closed instantly.
"Finally adjusted, poor little girl, I hope her cold will get better soon, the humidity here has been too heavy these days, and I don't know if she can adapt to it. The head nurse sighed, put the cup back on the table, and sighed. It was just beginning to receive the two people who had just entered the infirmary.
"Oh, the Triwizard Tournament is about to begin, the warriors of Hogwarts have a health problem, so what's wrong with you?, Mr. Malfoy?" Madam Pomfrey saw the appearance of the person who came at this time, became nervous, and quickened her pace and hurriedly walked over.
On the night of the Goblet of Fire, she watched the whole process live in the auditorium, and as a high-stakes competition, her position as a medical worker was also quite crucial.
So she was able to match the warrior's face to his name, and she had been dealing with this handsome boy with blond hair even earlier, and she was also very impressed that Malfoy's arms had been bitten through by the basilisk's fangs, and she had been lying in this hospital room for days.
"It's not me, it's her, this is the medical record of St. Mungo's Hospital, I hope you can help her recheck it, because she may have done something stupid just now, I don't know if it will get worse." Malfoy glared at Pansy, who immediately bowed his head as if he had done something wrong.
"Make a big fuss. Pansy muttered, but there was still some sweetness in her heart, "Is it that if it keeps going like this, he'll always care so much about me?" Pansy began to think about it, but this idea would be abandoned by her one day in the future, and she would rather she had never been hurt.
Madam Pomfrey was visibly relieved to hear that it was not the warrior's body that was wrong, and her face was less nervous, but after reading the medical records, she had a serious emotion written on her face again, and her brow furrowed.
"Leg wounds?" she asked, glancing at Pansy's wounded leg before nodding cautiously.
"Mr. Malfoy, I may need to do some detailed check-ups, can I ask you to wait outside?" she said.
"Of course. Malfoy replied that as a man, it is natural to avoid such examinations, and to always check for external injuries through clothing
"Check well, don't mess around. After admonishing Pansy, Malfoy exited the infirmary, found a random stool outside the door, sat down, pulled a book from his body and flipped it, and began to wait, which was one of the few pastimes Malfoy had nowadays.
When Malfoy flipped his hand halfway, the infirmary door suddenly opened, and Madam Pomfrey looked pretty good.
"It's not a big problem, the doctors at St. Mungo's Hospital are quite professional, even I can't do it better, but I still have to pay more attention to rest and move less. Madam Pomfrey laughed and said that there was no better news than the health of the students.
"Thank you very much. Malfoy bowed slightly.
"Look, it's not okay, it's a big fuss. Pansy smirked behind Madam Pomfrey and grimaced at Malfoy defiantly.
"Yes, yes, it's me who is nosy. Malfoy reluctantly said, "By the way, Madam Pomfrey, I have some more things to ask you. Malfoy then walked into the room and began to talk to the head nurse.
"How is my sister, is she better!" Just as Malfoy was asking about some other precautions, a voice like a silver bell came from outside the door, but there was some anxiety in his mood.
Then the wooden door creaked open, and Fleur's tall figure panicked, stumbling in, no longer having the elegant demeanor and temperament of the past, a few long silver hairs were scattered in front of the temples, and there were a few drops of water on them, and even the little mud splashed on the white dress did not care, it seemed very urgent.
"Miss Delacour, don't worry, your sister is safe now, she has taken her medicine, and she should have a fever now, she just needs to sleep a little more and wait for the fever to go away. Madam Pomfrey calmly said that only if the doctor remained calm would the patient's family be convinced.
"That's good. Fleur clutched her chest and let out a long sigh of relief.
Then his eyes met the other two people in the room.
Pansy immediately showed a stiff expression on her face when she wanted to smile but couldn't.
