Writing is the greatest invention after magic.

It is what makes civilization.

Some people say that language is the core essence of a civilization, because without language, civilization would cease to exist.

I think that's right.

In modern archaeology, there are far more complete [pictographic evolutionary writings] than the existing three, three countries, and three languages, and the civilizations that have been destroyed on the way to our current heights are simply innumerable.
