Gather the thoughts of all sentient beings and fit the Tao with their bodies.

The path of merger is not the end, the practice of qi - foundation building - jin dan - yuan infant - transformation of the god - refining the void - the way of merging - crossing the tribulation - mahayana, the monk has pointed out the path forward, beyond his own dimension, to become a higher dimensional existence, can be regarded as complete.

Interestingly, there is another person who tries to follow a similar path to Su Cheng.

Shinto!

A tight organization, top-down form, is a set of strict systems.

This system attempts to include monks, forcibly explaining and defining the position of immortals, in a sense, very similar to Su Cheng's current efforts.

Su Cheng defined himself as the Taoist monarch, Shinto defined the supreme heavenly court, Su Cheng was monotheistic, and Shinto was polytheistic or institutional.

The two fundamental goals to be achieved should be the same, but there is a huge difference in the way and method.

For believers, monotheism is undoubtedly simple, direct, and clear, and it has a strong vitality and cohesion from the innate nature, which in turn plays the most crucial role in the purity and depth of faith. But the disadvantages are also obvious, and it is naturally dangerous and difficult for those who eat alone, especially in the face of the large monastic class that has an absolute advantage in force.

Polytheism or institutional theory, beliefs are mixed, and believers have too many choices, but they are not as consistent, simple and clear as monotheism.

The gods and spirits in the system have their own positions and preferences, and there are often contradictions between them, which raises the requirements for believers, which also raises the threshold relatively, and it is not easy to give birth to pure and pious beliefs.

Of course, Shinto is not called faith, but incense.

But incense is just a form, and the core of the two is actually the same.

Polytheism is also relatively bad for faith, and abundant manpower can completely carry out 'intensive cultivation' of believers, such as a piece of land, a city god, and so on.

The abundant manpower against the large and overwhelmingly dominant monastic class would not have been weak, and the people who created this system in the first place must have great wisdom, otherwise they would not have survived to this day, and the war has been going on until this time.

Both the Heavenly Court and the Dao Monarch tried to include monks in their own definitions and interpretations, and this is because monks cannot be eliminated, cannot be ignored, and can only be accommodated.

Did Shinto succeed?

It should be said that it was a success, otherwise there would not have been a continuous war to this day.

This also foreshadows Su Cheng's path.

Even if he becomes a god and becomes a Dao King, even if he achieves the goal he has been pursuing, war is inevitable, and war will always accompany him until he completes his final transcendence.

Extradimensional!

The transcendent Dao Monarch is the real Dao Monarch, just like the power of the 'Soul Contract'.
