Chapter 235: System
"Then, what should the end of cultivation be?" Su Cheng asked curiously.
"Detachment, naturally, is beyond the heavens and worlds, not in the great existence and state that our generation can understand and perceive, and it is by no means a golden immortal or an earth immortal. ”
Su Cheng's heart moved, and when he remembered something, he said, "Just like the one who presided over the soul contract?"
"Yes!" Mi Guangsheng nodded, and said yearningly: "The end of time, the end of the universe, where the monk is, the contract is eternal, irresistible, unable to disobey, with their own Tao and Dao unity, regardless of each other—such an existence is really beyond the imagination of our generation, what kind of fruit is it? It is really ridiculous and naïve." ”
"And then?"
"Later?" said Mi Guangsheng recalled the description in the classics, "and then it was naturally a war, a war that was dark, a war that involved countless worlds, and a war that has continued to this day." ”
"So the patriarchal law lists obscenity as a taboo?"
"Not bad. ”
Su Cheng smiled and said, "I originally thought that this article was specifically for the spirit - yes, what is the spirit, and the Xuan Realm has only been opened up for a short time." ”
"When it comes to patriarchy, you can actually find some drawbacks in it. For example, obscenity, such as the devil's way, ghost cultivation, such as the current separation between immortals and mortals, all taboos, etc., as well as the people and the sect and the great development. These are all experiences, they are all lessons of blood, the patriarchal law is like iron, no personal feelings are tolerated, and it is just a matter of private, even if there are a few of them, they must show respect and maintenance for the patriarchy. ”
"A lesson from the past!"
"Yes, Shinto is just one of them, and the others such as demon paths, ghost cultivators, demons, and so on!"
"Demons?"
"Oh, the demon doesn't need to repeat it. This 'demon' has a lot to do with it. It does not refer to demonic cultivation in the general sense - in the process of opening up the heavens and all worlds, some worlds are too special, and the opening may fail, which will cause extreme countermeasures in the world, and conjure up the environment and laws of restraint and targeting monks. In such a world, the monsters born are an extremely serious and deadly threat to our monks. ”
"And such beings?"
"However, the heavens and all the worlds are so great and all-encompassing, and on the whole, although our monks are dominant, but—alas, it is not to be said. ”
"You mean, I'm going to be one of them?"
"Yes, the legal system that Your Excellency has opened up is unique and has never found a new way. Now, the form has evolved to this point, and your Excellency is at the time of transformation, knowing these should be a warning and reference. ”
"You have a heart. ”
"I'm ashamed, I also know these from the family secret book, many of them are scales and half claws, and they are not necessarily correct. ”
Su Cheng smiled and stopped asking.
During the conversation, the arrangement of the 'zoo' and the 'botanical garden' had been completed, and on the first floor of the pagoda, countless sigils, figures, and halos were attached to the ground, floating in the air, like treasure houses and altars.
The entrance opened, countless flashes appeared, and countless people who made great efforts and sacrifices appeared at the moment when the entrance opened.
As far as the eye can see, these 'altars' make them ecstatic, they excite them, and they make them desperate.
Thus chaos unfolds, and every part of human nature, the noble and the vile, the ugly and the sublimated, the humble and the great, burst forth in a very short time.
The taste of Su Cheng's heartiness is stronger, and in the divinity, imperceptible changes are quietly happening.
"All living beings are mediocre, all living beings are mediocre!" Qi Guangsheng sighed.
Su Cheng watched all this happening, but his eyes were not focused, as if he was not looking, and he seemed to be thinking.
In fact, his words to Mi Guangsheng were far less calm and indifferent than they seemed on the surface.
The end of the practice.
Soaring!
Where does the ascension go?
The monks of the heavens and all the worlds have existed and opened up for hundreds of millions of years, but the real immortals have not been seen.
Could this ascension be an extradimensionality?
Are the immortals all around us, but their dimensions are higher, so they are beyond our observation and understanding?
If this explanation is correct, then the existence of something like a 'soul contract' is plausible.
Ascension = Extradimensional!?
This is undoubtedly a height beyond imagination, and it is also a fundamental leap in life forms, in contrast, even if Su Cheng succeeds in becoming a god and becomes a Dao Monarch, he is still in the same dimension as monks and mortals, and the creatures of the same dimension are nothing more than stronger and fatter for the immortals who are already beyond the dimension, and in essence, there is not much difference.
Gather the thoughts of all sentient beings and fit the Tao with their bodies.
The path of merger is not the end, the practice of qi - foundation building - jin dan - yuan infant - transformation of the god - refining the void - the way of merging - crossing the tribulation - mahayana, the monk has pointed out the path forward, beyond his own dimension, to become a higher dimensional existence, can be regarded as complete.
Interestingly, there is another person who tries to follow a similar path to Su Cheng.
Shinto!
A tight organization, top-down form, is a set of strict systems.
This system attempts to include monks, forcibly explaining and defining the position of immortals, in a sense, very similar to Su Cheng's current efforts.
Su Cheng defined himself as the Taoist monarch, Shinto defined the supreme heavenly court, Su Cheng was monotheistic, and Shinto was polytheistic or institutional.
The two fundamental goals to be achieved should be the same, but there is a huge difference in the way and method.
For believers, monotheism is undoubtedly simple, direct, and clear, and it has a strong vitality and cohesion from the innate nature, which in turn plays the most crucial role in the purity and depth of faith. But the disadvantages are also obvious, and it is naturally dangerous and difficult for those who eat alone, especially in the face of the large monastic class that has an absolute advantage in force.
Polytheism or institutional theory, beliefs are mixed, and believers have too many choices, but they are not as consistent, simple and clear as monotheism.
The gods and spirits in the system have their own positions and preferences, and there are often contradictions between them, which raises the requirements for believers, which also raises the threshold relatively, and it is not easy to give birth to pure and pious beliefs.
Of course, Shinto is not called faith, but incense.
But incense is just a form, and the core of the two is actually the same.
Polytheism is also relatively bad for faith, and abundant manpower can completely carry out 'intensive cultivation' of believers, such as a piece of land, a city god, and so on.
The abundant manpower against the large and overwhelmingly dominant monastic class would not have been weak, and the people who created this system in the first place must have great wisdom, otherwise they would not have survived to this day, and the war has been going on until this time.
Both the Heavenly Court and the Dao Monarch tried to include monks in their own definitions and interpretations, and this is because monks cannot be eliminated, cannot be ignored, and can only be accommodated.
Did Shinto succeed?
It should be said that it was a success, otherwise there would not have been a continuous war to this day.
This also foreshadows Su Cheng's path.
Even if he becomes a god and becomes a Dao King, even if he achieves the goal he has been pursuing, war is inevitable, and war will always accompany him until he completes his final transcendence.
Extradimensional!
The transcendent Dao Monarch is the real Dao Monarch, just like the power of the 'Soul Contract'.
……
Such a remark touched Su Cheng tremendously, and fundamentally raised his horizons and looked at his career from a more macro perspective.
"Let's go, come with me. ”
"Your Excellency, this is?"
Su Cheng smiled slightly, "Take a walk, take a look, maybe you will get something." ”
