Chapter 720: A New Journey

Evan returned to the bottom of the lake, and it was as quiet as ever. Pen ~ fun ~ pavilion www.biquge.info

Neither the battle that had just ended, nor the imminent return of Voldemort had affected the lives of the merfolk.

As usual, they gathered from the nearby waters to perform their ancient rituals.

Although they are members of the wizarding world, merfolk have their own unique closed life circles.

No matter how much strife the human world continues, it doesn't affect them, and it has been the case for thousands of years, and Voldemort will not be interested in the territory of merfolk.

They have lived here for generations, no matter who the people in the castle are!

However, after seeing Evan arrive, there are still many mermaids who go up to ask about the things inside the castle.

Even those who lived beneath the lake had heard of Voldemort's name and knew of the horrible things he had done in the past.

Evan chatted with the merfolk for a few words, and when the gap in the statue's tail opened, he slipped inside.

Following the path he had taken before, he soon came to the huge stone gate that was out of the ordinary.

A dark blue raven stood silently above the stone door, two ruby eyes glittering in the light of a wand.

It became the same as before, without any breath, and seemed to be a dead thing.

But after the last experience, Evan doesn't think so, this thing is not simple.

Judging from the knowledge of alchemy, this raven already has the top knowledge of alchemy and has life!

It doesn't matter if the person who made it was Rowena Ravenclaw or not, and no matter how she did it, there is an indisputable fact in front of us that one cannot but admire: she gave life to a dead thing, giving it eternal life!

Alchemy was born in ancient Egypt, when Egypt was still part of the era of ancient magical civilizations that were dominated by ancient warlocks.

In Aven's opinion, while the powerful pharaohs, priests, and ancient warlocks created a lot of magic beyond imagination, there was only one thing they really wanted to do, and that was to conquer death.

They conducted their research from the perspective of alchemy and necromancy, respectively, and achieved shocking results.

Philosopher's Stone, for example, Horcruxes, these are a small part of the research they have done.

Evan looked at the raven carefully and studied it for a moment before he walked over and knocked lightly on the door.

The eagle's beak above immediately opened, and in an indifferent, eerie voice said, "My gates are open only to the wisest of the wise, according to the will of my master." Strange visitors, I will ask you questions to test whether your wisdom can meet the conditions. If you answer correctly, I'll open you in, and if you answer incorrectly, you'll die!"

As soon as the voice fell, a powerful magical force surrounded Evan, and the ravens above the gate flew violently.

It hovered above Aven's head, its blood-red eyes staring at him.

"Ask!" said Evan, confident in answering the other man's question.

As with the Ravenclaw common room door, each knock on the door presents a different problem.

Some are simple, some are difficult, and this is the magic that Ms. Rowena Ravenclaw set up by herself.

After the last time, Evan asked Luna to lead him to the Ravenclaw common room to practice and gain experience.

"Phoenix and Fire, which one comes first?"

It turned out to be this question, and Evan immediately replied, "It's a cycle, there is no beginning, and there is no end!"

Born in flames and dissipating in flames, it is difficult for this magical creature to truly die.

However, nature is fair, and while giving phoenixes strong vitality, it also greatly limits their numbers.

You must know that of all wands, the number of rods made of phoenix tail feathers is relatively the smallest, because the number of phoenixes is far less than that of fire dragons, unicorns and other magical creatures, except for Dumbledore's Fawkes, Evan has never seen any other phoenixes.

"The answer is correct, visitor, the brightest minds deserve to be rewarded!" the stone door slowly opened.

The powerful force that controlled Evan disappeared in an instant, as if it had never existed.

He walked inside, took out the Ravenclaw tiara, ignored the magically protected books, and hurried to the innermost part of the room, to the beautiful, yet somewhat intimidating, statue of Lady Ravenclaw.

The raven landed lightly above her head, tilting its head, its blood-red eyes staring at Aven.

Its gaze fell on the crown in Aven's hand, glowing with an eerie red light.

"Extraordinary ingenuity is the greatest treasure of mankind!" it let out a hoarse cry at Aven, "Visitor, you have passed the first test, put Lady Ravenclaw's crown where it should be, and I will reveal to you the hidden secrets!"

Evan took out his wand and guided the crown in his left hand, making him float in control, controlling it to float slowly upward.

There was a crunch click, and the crown landed on the statue's head with unmistakable accuracy, fitting perfectly together.

With a slight tremor, the raven stared at Aven, who seemed to have touched some mechanism.

Evan blinked, in a trance, as if nothing had happened.

What the hell is going on, and what is the secret of Ravenclaw?

Immediately afterward, he noticed that the scene around him had changed, and he was no longer in the closed chamber.

Aven appeared on a large ship that was constantly shaking, surrounded by an endless blue ocean, and he could even smell the fishy smell of the sea.

Then he saw Rowena Ravenclaw, who was standing on the deck in front of him, smiling at him.

Soul magic again!!

Ravenclaw, like Gryffindor, somehow preserves a part of his soul.

But something seems to be different, Lady Ravenclaw didn't speak to Aven, and it wasn't a powerful illusion either.

Gryffindor's soul was preserved thanks to the power of the Philosopher's Stone and the stars.

In Ravenclaw's chamber, Aven didn't feel a great deal of power other than the uncomfortable raven.

Without the support of magic, her soul would not have stayed, let alone the power to create illusions.

But no matter how powerful her magic is, it's impossible to do that!

Evan looked around and felt that the world was somewhat similar to the memories he had seen in the meditation basin and Tom Riddle's diary, and he was reliving Rowena Ravenclaw's memories by preserving a special image of the past for later generations to enter.

The Ravenclaw in front of him was wearing a set of sky-blue wizard robes, about seventeen or eighteen years old, and he looked so beautiful that it was impossible to look at him directly.

In particular, those blue eyes, pure without any blemishes, seem to be able to reach the human heart......
