Chapter 119: The Moon of First Blood

Tale snorted and took the pasta from the boss, "Make him another one, give me this one." The boss looked at Andrew, and Andrew nodded helplessly.

"You still have an appetite for me when you speak, give you a chance, as long as you abandon those women around you, I can give you a chance to defeat me. She ate the noodles with a fork and said--- It is undeniable that some people are so beautiful that they will look cute even if they do rude things--- "There is only one chance, how about it, do you dare to give it a try?"

"Conquering a virgin senpai like you is, of course, the dream of all men. Andrew was silent for a moment before he said, "But now is not the time, whether it is for you or for me, let's say something else." ”

"Kid with a colored heart and no cowards, what kind of cool pretend. Andrew didn't explain, and Tale fell silent, "That's it, since you don't know how to seize the opportunity, forget it." I've heard you've been working for a secret department of the Ministry of Magic lately, so tell me something so I can get back on my errand. Think of it as a gift from you. “

"A gift?" Andrew smiled, he knew that although Tale was big and arrogant on the surface, he was actually very strong, face-saving, and extremely vindictive, and Andrew did not refute it.

She rested one elbow on the bar and pushed away the half-eaten pasta with the other, then propped her chin and squinted her eyes as she looked at Andrew through a pair of thick, long eyelashes.

She's certainly appealing to Andrew--- she's perfect, and while she's desperate to use her charm and femininity to pursue her purpose, she may not appreciate how seductive she can be.

Andrew has seen too many of these perfect "lovers" who are specially produced --- are almost completely tailored to the deepest desires of men--- thoughtful, adoring, beautiful, strong on the outside and flattering on the inside.... God didn't make Eve out of Adam's rib, but out of Adam's desires!

"Andrew Lee. She said. "Don't you even want to fulfill this little wish, or do you think my charm is worthless to you?" her eyes narrowed even more.

Andrew took a sip of the ale and motioned for the bar owner to pour her a glass as well, which he complied. "Of course not, Senpai, those things are far less than a smile of yours to me. “

"Men nowadays are really hungry and dissatisfied. She complained. "Lee, what exactly do you want?"

"I'm pure and kind. Andrew told her. "I will not be tempted by beauty. “

She glared at Andrew frustrated for a moment, then tilted her head back and laughed. Her laughter is also beautiful, crisp and loud.

At this moment Andrew did look at her breasts, but only at ---- hell all the demons howled and cried, they were going to be torn apart by all the good, all the good should be tortured to death.

A person who is both pure and kind can only do this at best, and even if he acts under the stimulation of hormones, it is nothing more than the pursuit of courtship for women. Hell is a different picture, distorting the power of destruction, devouring Andrew's desires, growing into a completely strange monster --- monster eager to abuse the witch, even if that is not Andrew's intention at all.

Tale was a very pure woman - she was charming, ambitious, beautiful, her ambition was obvious and simple, and she made it clear that she was pursuing these things.

She came to **Andrew, mainly because she wanted Andrew's support, and perhaps she also found Andrew attractive. Sometimes she succeeds, sometimes she fails--- not so much on her charms, but on how Andrew wants to be.

On top of that, if Granger knew that Andrew had revealed the news, she would have gouged out Andrew's heart and sandwiched it between two slices of bread for lunch.

"Andrew, even though I was acting, what I said is still valid, you know. She said. "Okay, now let's talk about some light topics, after all--- I'm still a journalist although I don't like it at all---- I ask you some questions, and you just answer 'yes' or 'no', 'yes' or 'no'. “

"Don't. Andrew replied immediately.

Her eyes sparkled--- much like Hermione's. "Was Byrne's death by Death Eaters or the Dark Arts?"

"Don't. Andrew stubbornly said it again.

"No, does that mean he's not?" Tale asked. "Or isn't that just not a Death Eater?"

Andrew winked at the bar owner, as if to call for help. He pretended not to see. The bar owner never takes sides and is very smart.

"No, I don't want to answer questions. Andrew said.

"Do you have any clues, have you caught any suspects?"

"Don't. “

"Andrew, are you a suspect yourself?"

Upset. "Don't. Andrew said angrily. "Senpai--"

"Are you going to have dinner with me on Saturday night?"

"Don't. I--" Andrew looked at her in surprise. "What did you just say?"

She smiled at Andrew, then leaned over and kissed him on the cheek.

Her lips were cold, a little sweet--- Andrew couldn't help but think, the demons cheered, that feeling was so good, it was amazing.

"Great. She said. "I'll pick you up at you, nine o'clock, okay?"

"Did I just miss something?" Andrew asked her.

She nodded, her black eyes shining with pleasure. "I'm going to take you to a dinner that's well worth looking forward to. Have you ever been to a hotel? on Watermill East Street. “

Andrew shook his head.

"There's a steak you've never dreamed of. She assured Andrew. "And one of the most atmospheric restaurants. You'll need a coat and tie to get there, can you?"

"Well, huh?" said Andrew, cautiously. "This answer is for the question you just asked if I want to go out with you, right?"

"It's not. She smiled. "The answer is that I'm going to take your word, and you've already fallen for it. I'm just wondering if you have anything else to wear besides jeans and an Auror uniform. “

"Oh, yes...... Yes. Andrew said.

"Yay. She repeated, getting up from the stool, picking up the purse, and kissing Andrew on the cheek again. "See you on Saturday, then. If you're doing well, maybe we'll be able to do something a little more after the meal--- but I don't know if your little girlfriend will find out. She stepped back and suddenly gave Andrew a queenly smile.

This is really Andrew's expression, which is very moving, and it makes the demonic blood in Andrew's body gush out.

"When the time comes, get ready to have some fun. She turned and walked out, Andrew turned his head slightly, kept looking at her back, and Andrew felt the demons inside him cheer and followed her.

Did Andrew just agree to date her, or did he agree to be tortured?

"Probably all of them. Andrew muttered to himself.

The bar owner snapped and put Andrew's pasta in front of Andrew, Andrew put down the money with a sad face, and the bar owner found some money for Andrew.

"She's not going to do anything with me, she just wants to get the news out of me that she can't let know, the bar owner. Andrew said.

"Hmm. The bar owner agreed.

"Then why did I say I was going?"

The bar owner shrugged.

"And Hermione knew I had done such a stupid thing. Andrew said. "I'm afraid I'll be living in the dark until June. “

"Hmm. “

"But any man of good blood is likely to make the same decision as me. “

"Hmph. The bar owner said disdainfully.

"Well, maybe you won't. “

The bar owner smiled and expressed his relief.

"Anyway, life is like that, it's always hard to concentrate, and I must be crazy to deal with someone like her. Andrew picked up his fork, glanced at the half-eaten noodles on the side, and sighed.

"I didn't pay for that portion, I put it in your account. Said the bar owner.

"Well, boss, she's smart, and there's always someone willing to sell her body and count the money for her. “

The bar owner showed his signature mischievous smile, which made him look several years younger and a little boyish.

"Of course she's that kind of person. He said. "And you look like a fool. “

This ruined Andrew's plans. Andrew's wishful thinking was to go to Monica's South Beach Villa in the dark to find some information, and Andrew had promised Hermione that he would find the classification and name of the blood curse as soon as possible.

That meant Andrew had half the time to go, and he had to go to the villa that Monica had offered tonight, because Andrew had to go on a date with Tale on Saturday night - at least in the first half of the night--- what could happen in the first half of the night?

Andrew the Devil's mouth parched at the thought that maybe even the second half of the night might be occupied by her. God knows. She'd just made Andrew grosy and make him look like an idiot, and she should have done everything she could to get the news out of Andrew for the Monday morning issue of The Owl Post. But on the other hand, she is sexy, intelligent, and any man wants to conquer her, not to mention that she is still a virgin.

That means something else going on besides chatting and eating, doesn't it?

A lot of teenagers' first romances are failures. There are also very few people who kill each other because of a failed relationship. Andrew is neither a loser in love, nor any other loser--- he is just used to the kind of strong people who get all the laws of the end of the law era--- even if they are on the righteous side, as long as they agree, they can maintain a relationship with the same strong person.

Andrew dodged that thought, lest it bring back too many old memories---- those bright silver armor, cold lips, and piercing weapons.

When the bar owner realizes that Andrew doesn't have any appetite, he gives Andrew another beer, and Andrew finishes his beer and leaves the Rumor Bar before he feels as if his consciousness is beginning to melt.

The chess game in the corner was still going on, and the smoke pipes in the mouths of the two men were spewing smoke that smelled quite fresh. As Andrew walked to the car, he was still immersed in irreparable grief over the end of the French era.

Does Andrew need to clean the apartment first?---- tidying things up can certainly calm people. Ruoqiu, Hermione, and even Luna knew that Andrew had easily agreed to Tale's invitation, would they be angry?

When Andrew got in the car, Andrew could still feel that the kiss that Tale had left on Andrew's cheek was --- cool, completely different from Autumn's.

Andrew shook his head in a panic. People say wizards are elusive. When Andrew returned home, all three women were nowhere to be seen.

Andrew went back to his spacious lab and examined the test tubes one by one--- he was going to the southern seashore later, and needed to prepare. Andrew picked up everything Andrew needed from the kitchen - freshly baked bread without preservatives, honey, milk, fresh apples, a sharp silver pencil sharpener, small plates and bowls for dinner, and a cup that Andrew had carved out of teak.

Andrew put these things in a magic bag to make sure that the lab didn't get into an accident because of his departure, and then the phantom moved to the closest town to Eastbourne he had ever been, where he had to rent a car and go on the road--- he had not been to Eastbourne, so he could not directly phantom move.

Eastbourne is the largest town and borough in East Sussex in the southeastern region of England, with a population of about 100,000. The local area has a long history and the environment is also very good. Monica's suburban address is an expensive and high-end resort with many large houses and endless estates. It's not cheap to get a plot of land here. Philip had a good mix with his former employer, so he managed to buy property here.

The seaside road winds along the side of low and lush shrubs, and it weaves all the way down from the Popti to the seashore. The large estates were spread apart, hundreds of yards apart. Most of the estates are separated by walls, and from the perspective of Andrew's car driving north, the gate of the manor is on the right side of the road, which is the farther side from the sea. Monica's house is the only one located on the seaside side.

A smooth gravel road lined with trees stretches from the road to Monica's mansion. A peninsula juts out into the sea, just big enough for a house and a small pier, but there are no boats beside the pier.

That house wasn't big compared to the others. It is a fairly simple two-storey house, with lots of glass and wood, and the flat and smooth exterior is deliberately designed to create a sense of synthesis that is different from the wood materials.

The seaside road curves to the back of the house, and there is a driveway wide enough for a full-court basketball game, with a basketball hoop and an open-air balcony extending from the second floor of the house to look down on.

Andrew drove the Beetle to the back of the house and stopped there. Andrew got out of the car and stretched his legs, picked up his backpack and took it with him. The breeze blowing from the seashore made Andrew immediately sober up.

First impressions are important. Andrew stayed in front of the house for a long time, just staring at it.

Andrew's instinct was to insist on another glass of the bar owner's ale, and it didn't provide much information, other than to suggest that the somewhat expensive cottage had accompanied a family on several weekends of vacation.

Well, when intuition fails, that's when wisdom strikes. Most of the stuff is fairly new. The grass around the house hasn't grown very tall this winter and doesn't need to be mowed. The basketball net hangs straight down, and it can be seen from how loose it has been used many times. The curtains are all down.

There was a red object glowing on the grass below the balcony, and Andrew walked under the balcony to pick it up. It's a plastic film box, and the red box has a black lid on the body, which is the kind of box you usually use to pack up the negatives and send them to the processing shop. Andrew tucked it into the pocket of his coat and continued his investigation.

It doesn't look so much like a place to live and more like a gold house for the wealthy, a secluded cottage tucked away in the woods on the peninsula, and a place to avoid candid photography.

Andrew quickly circled the house, trying both the front and back doors, even the door on the open-air balcony, which might have led to the kitchen. It's all locked. The door lock wasn't really a big deal, but Monica hadn't actually invited Andrew to investigate the "inside" of the house, she just wanted Andrew to take a look around the house.

Breaking into someone's house without being invited is a big no-no. This is one of the reasons why vampires don't usually do this – they're already a bunch of problems just trying to unite outside of the wizarding world.

This doesn't hurt a human wizard like Andrew, but it does get in the way when you try to handle things with magic. Also, it's not polite. As Andrew said, Andrew is an old-fashioned person.
