Chapter Forty-Nine: High-Tech Black

There was no problem with the activities organized by the Red Horse Publishing House, and the anti-confrontational forces that had been expected did appear. But perhaps it was because they were told from behind that these people could not be provoked, or because they lacked the motivation to make waves again recently, and a few people who came held signs and protested from afar, which did not affect the progress of the event in the slightest. The event at Eslite Bookstore went very smoothly.

The escort of the 13th Fleet was naturally indispensable. After having the Silver Pages Company, Yue Qingyan and Fang Anxin's control over the book club has skyrocketed, and among the book clubs, there are more places in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Even if it is a popular event, a call can swipe out a support lineup of hundreds of people, not to mention on Hong Kong Island, the influence of "Yinying" is not very low.

And Yue Qingyan simply said in public that he was quite inspired in Hong Kong and was creating stories about Hong Kong, which attracted the applause of many fans. Along with it, some local newspapers began to report on it. But the tone of the local report seems to be watching a good show.

Morsheng finally put an end to the mess at school and flew to Hong Kong to take over various local work and contacts. Xu Yingying also took the time to come over to play, if there was anything she could help with, she didn't mind working for a while.

Mo Ersheng saw the way Yue Qingyan and Fang Anxin got along, not so much nervous and vigilant, but rather fun. The two got along too naturally, and there was no doubt that she came to Hong Kong. Yue Qingyan didn't explain anything, nor did he say anything to reassure Mo Ersheng. Just thinking she's good to come, that's enough.

Fang Anxin finally turned on her mobile phone to contact her parents. Because, after not contacting her for a few days, with the energy of the family, he didn't send someone directly to take her away, which means that his brother and parents feel that everything is under control. It's no wonder that there's no one around. Instead of that, it's better to call someone to your side, even if it's to carry your luggage.

Originally, they were going to stay in Hong Kong for a few days and leave, looking around, but because of Yue Qingyan's new creative plan, Mo Ersheng took Fang Anxin to wander around. Yue Qingyan was holding back in the hotel to write a manuscript.

Fortunately, because the route of the story is clear, the writing is not very difficult, and Yue Qingyan stayed up in the hotel for a week and wrote two novellas.

The novel was sent to Zhu Yu and Ah Yue as soon as possible. Then, Yue Qingyan went to sleep. He lost more than a kilogram in a week, and I don't know if he can make up for it by eating a big meal for a few days in Hong Kong.

When Zhu Yu got the manuscript, he was still a little mentally prepared, but he really looked like he couldn't help laughing. Yue Qingyan also put a lot of effort into researching the relevant situation in Hong Kong, so there are two satirical social levels, social problems, and even novellas that are completely different from the degree of satire.

One story is called "Victoria One". The story looks quite bloody.

Teresa Teng, who works in a bank, does extremely boring telesales work every day, but she has a dream that has lingered since she was a child: to buy a house with a view of Victoria Bay. She worked hard, desperately trying to save money, and finally saved enough for a down payment on the house.

However, after paying the down payment, it happened to encounter the explosion of the Hong Kong property market, and the value increased rapidly. The developer would rather break the contract with Teresa Teng, pay liquidated damages, or terminate the purchase contract. Teresa Teng was extremely dissatisfied, but she didn't have any means to fight back. Even if liquidated damages are added, she can't afford to pay the down payment on the house after the appreciation.

At this time, her father was seriously ill and dying, and he was already in the terminal stage of cancer and could not be saved, so Teresa Teng hesitated again and again, and pulled out her father's intubation when others didn't notice. She was reluctant to spend the cash she had on her father, who was not saved.

And the relationship between her and her lover, a middle-aged sales manager with a wife, has finally come to another end, although the two take what they need in getting along, the middle-aged man uses her to solve her physiological needs, and Teresa Teng uses the middle-aged man to deceive herself in a normal social relationship, but the breakup still has a considerable impact on her.

Teresa Teng unexpectedly heard that the house of the deceased could not be sold for a price, and everyone was very taboo about the murderous house, so she decided to take a risk and let the price of the house she wanted to buy fall. So, with a knife, she quietly entered the apartment building called "Victoria One" in the middle of the night, knocked on the doors one by one, and killed them......

It's a story with a strong weird and absurd atmosphere, but when you think about it, it's even creepy. The housing prices in Hong Kong are really so terrible, it's really hard to say whether anyone will take risks. Moreover, in Yue Qingyan's writings, there are several hints that you don't know what happened in those houses that you can afford...... The sinister nature of the intentions can be seen.

Zhu Yu felt that the article written by Yue Qingyan was not exactly like a novel. Although the beginning of the novel begins with Teresa Teng infiltrating the apartment to prepare to kill, there are a lot of flashbacks in it, while Teresa Teng kills typical Hong Kong people, she constantly recalls the people she has met in her daily life and work, and everyone has their typicality. And this kind of killing is very symbolic and formal. It seems that it is only by killing these typical Hong Kong people that they can afford to buy a house. This symbol was too vicious and subtle, and Zhu Yu was not sure whether Yue Qingyan did it intentionally, or if he was thinking too much and too badly.

However, no matter how good it is, although I feel very cool and powerful to read, this whole novella is still like a literary book of movie scripts. A film literature book that has even been dealt with in terms of scenes and montages. When this thought arises, it can no longer be suppressed.

Zhu Yu hurriedly made a call to the more familiar local director Zhao Tianzhao.

"Amaterasu, there's a novel for you to read. I think it's a good movie theme. Zhu Yu said straight to the point.

Zhao Tianzhao heard Zhu Yu's voice, and hurriedly said respectfully: "Sister Zhu, I finally came to take care of my little brother." I'll just look at it. ”

"Don't be poor, you see, if it's appropriate, I'll ask for the adaptation rights. Don't worry about investing, I'll go and form a bureau. ”

"Yes. I'll see right away. "Zhao Tianzhao is a junior compared to Zhu Yu, and he also knows that Zhu Yu is usually too busy and never gossips. Basically, she judged that it could be done, and there was not much difference.

But when Zhao Tian took care of "Victoria No. 1", he couldn't help but gasp:, what a good absurd, crime and thriller theme, and even faintly has a cult flavor. The logic itself is not coherent, but it just extends that sense of absurdity.

And the novel is very maturely written, and the structure can be understood at a cursory glance, and it is completely written in accordance with the plot of the movie script. But the description of the key bridges is very powerful, as if all the pictures are in front of you. took the novel and divided it into scenes, changed the dialogue format, and it was directly the script, and there was no need for the screenwriter at all.

The investment is not large, the subject matter is attractive, the plot tension is enough, and even the expression style has many designs. Moreover, Zhu Yu also said that she would handle the investment over there.

However, when Zhu Yu finished reading the second novella, his mind was buzzing again. This...... It's literal. Yue Qingyan gently unveiled the self-talk of Hong Kong's politics and public security, saying that it abides by rules and procedures, but in fact, each does its own thing. I really don't know how this person, who has never been to Hong Kong before, observed and learned this, especially for the various laws and regulations in Hong Kong, he really grasped it so thoroughly in just a few days.

The name of the story is "Chills".

The first part of the story is about an explosion in Hong Kong when the Commissioner of Police is leaving Hong Kong for a meeting, and then a submachine truck and five police officers who were out to deal with a traffic accident are hijacked. At this time, the two deputy commissioners of police, Li Wenbin and Liu Jiehui, had different understandings of the incident. Liu Jiehui believed that Li Wenbin's son Li Jiajun was also among the police officers who had been kidnapped, and his decision was unfair, so he used the state of emergency order to dismiss Li Wenbin from his post.

However, when Liu Jiehui was dealing with the transaction with the kidnappers, he fell into a trap and the funds transferred from the vault were robbed. While Liu Jiehui was investigating the matter, the Independent Commission Against Corruption intervened. The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) received a confidential report that it involved an abuse of power, either because Lau Kit-fai had embezzled a huge amount of money, or because Lee Man-bin had excluded dissidents. However, with the promotion of the Independent Commission Against Corruption and the evidence obtained by the police, the final investigation found that the mastermind of the disappearance and kidnapping of the assault car was Li Wenbin's son Li Jiajun. And Li Jiajun's reason is that he does not want Liu Jiehui, who was born as a civilian official, to be the next Commissioner of Police, but hopes that his father Li Wenbin can take the position.

Li Wenbin finally killed his relatives and sent his son to prison. However, what he didn't expect was that the matter was not over yet.

At the beginning of the second part of the story, the mysterious forces use Liu Jiehui's family as a threat and design a sophisticated plan to set Li Jiajun free. And Li Jiajun, with the forces behind him, found Li Wenbin. The big backstage of everything turned out to be the previous Commissioner of Police, Cai Yuanqi. Cai Yuanqi and the senior management of the Hong Kong government are in tandem, hoping that through the layout, the police force will be in the hands of their own people, so that they can thoroughly and comprehensively pass the next re-election and grasp the power from the Hong Kong governor to the three departments and 13 departments.

Of course, the story ends with the triumph of good over evil.

However, this story seems to be very procedural justice, and the characters in it keep saying that they are orderly and righteous, but everyone violates the rules when they do things, and then quietly builds up their own power and layout on the grounds that they are in a hurry to obey power. At first glance, this whole story seems to be a eulogy of the Hong Kong Police Force, the police department, which has made unremitting efforts to make Hong Kong the safest city in Asia, but it does not stand up to scrutiny. Behind the lines that are magnificent and righteous on the surface, there is no one who does not make small tricks. Although there are not many references to these little tricks, if you think about it a little closely, you will find that the groove is not like that at all. Moreover, the big boss behind him can control Hong Kong through seemingly completely legal means, and the protagonist Liu Jiehui finally chose not to pursue Cai Yuanqi for the sake of the police's reputation, but forced him to quit himself...... It's simply ......

At first glance, this story still has a strong sense of cinema. However, from the design of the story structure, it should be divided into two movies. The subtle progression and thematic shift between these two films is really not daring to think about it. Moreover, Zhu Yu is almost certain that not many people can understand the irony of "strict neutrality of management".

Almost every paragraph is a slap in the face, of course, it is the premise that Yue Qingyan wants to hack Hong Kong, if there is no premise at all, this is a wonderful police and bandit novel with several characters fighting wits and courage. Moreover, this kind of internal battle according to the rules is almost conceivable to be vigorously promoted. However, the incongruity of the inner layer and the darkness in the depths are the most fatal.

This Yue Qingyan is really high-tech. An interesting thought popped up in Zhu Yu's heart......
