Day 12, It Was You!
Today, the weather is not particularly good. Pen Fun Pavilion wWw. biquge。 info
The wind was strong, and the dark clouds above were moving rapidly.
Rain is my biggest fear.
Because my shelter is completely unstoppable.
I don't want to live a wet night without a campfire.
So early in the morning I started repairing my shelter.
I need coconut leaves.
It's not easy to mess with, the last time I fell down and lay down for a day, I still have palpitations to this day.
There's no way, though, and now those huge leaves are my only option.
The coconut tree is hard to climb, but I don't think I'll fall down again today.
Because I came up with a brilliant idea.
The idea came from the method I had previously stumbled upon when working on a wire repair worker.
They usually have a safety rope that holds their waist to the pole so that if they miss, they don't fall straight down.
So I also found a very long vine, tied it around my waist, then around the whole coconut tree, tied it around my waist, and finally tied myself to the coconut tree.
This way, it was much easier, and I could basically climb for a while and take a break.
When I rested, I just had to gently hold my legs between the trunk and lean my back against the vine to tense me and the trunk so that I wouldn't fall down.
It's a good way, it's a bit slow, but it makes me go up to the bottom of the huge blades.
I have to say, the leaves of this coconut tree are very difficult to get around, I think I knocked for at least an hour, and I still haven't gotten a single one.
My hands were so sore that I couldn't stand my cervical spine when I lifted my neck for a long time.
Around noon, as my stomach began to rumble, I finally knocked off four leaves.
"It should be barely enough. "I consoled myself.
The weather has become so fast, just a few dark clouds just now, but now there are already raindrops starting to drip.
After covering the four leaves evenly on the top of the "hut", I fixed them with vines.
After I finished it, I walked around the "hut" and found a new problem.
Although this open space is like a pot lid and is not prone to water accumulation, the area around my "hut" is very smooth.
So I needed to dig a few ditches so that the rain wouldn't pour into the "huts".
Luckily, the rain hasn't really started to fall yet.
It's hard to dig for branches, and I don't know how many I broke them.
I dug the ditch less than five centimeters deep, and I knew that this depth was not enough.
If it rains continuously, it is difficult to bring the rain down.
But I can't help it, I don't have iron.
Eventually, I dug all four aqueducts around the "hut".
The door is probably too late to do.
I'm going to get ready for everything before the rain comes.
The suitcase was dragged into the "hut" by me.
I put the wooden planks I picked up earlier on the "bed".
Now, I need to stock up on some food and firewood.
I didn't realize my shortcomings until now, I'm not a delicate person, I could have prepared for these a long time ago, and I didn't start preparing until it was almost raining, fortunately, it wasn't too late.
I plunged headlong into the woods, and I picked up dead branches and fallen leaves, as long as they were not very wet.
I went back and forth several times, looking at the firewood in the hut, and I thought it would be enough for me for about three days.
The raindrops were a little bigger than just now, but they weren't big yet, and they were still falling unhurriedly, so I still had time.
I've found myself falling in love with coconut crab lately, and the indescribable scent of that indescribable scent often comes to my mind, and the taste intensifies my saliva just by thinking about it.
In order to get it, I just picked up a huge rock when I was collecting firewood, and I thought that if I was hit by this half-skull-sized stone, it would become my food.
Luckily, it didn't take long for me to find a few in the coconut grove, but I didn't catch much, the food is not easy to preserve, and I want to eat fresh.
After bringing back the unlucky coconut crab and the two coconuts that had fallen from the ground, I went to the river to catch another fish.
The rain suddenly becomes heavier at this time.
Before I could react, I was surrounded by a white rain curtain.
I'm running as hard as I can, and I have to go to the fruit trees to pick some fruit.
The rain was heavy and it hurt a little bit.
Ever since my last experience in the cave, I've had an instinctive fear of rain.
Luckily, the river wasn't particularly far from my shelter.
I was soaking wet, but there was no wet in the "hut", which comforted me a little.
After putting the fish down, I hurried to the fruit tree to pick the most red juicy fruit I had eaten.
It was at this time that I saw a dark shadow in my peripheral vision!
All of a sudden, goosebumps all over my body rose, and although I was wet, I wasn't cold just now, but now I felt like I was frozen.
I hurriedly looked back.
I see it!
Black, almost a meter tall!
What is it!
The momentary fear made me feel that the fruit in my hand fell to the ground.
I was scared because the moment I turned my head, I seemed to see an eye!
The eye was staring at me, and I didn't know if it saw me as food.
I don't know why it's spying on me!
Fear didn't keep me thinking.
No one would have waited in place in this extreme fear.
It's gone now, but I don't know if it's gone around my back, and mine is back in my "cabin" as soon as possible.
Soon, I hid in the hut, and the branches I had planted neatly, and I used several branches to keep the unidentified creatures rushing in.
I also kept the thick branches for self-defense.
I lit the fire.
The book is right, when people are under fire, their hearts will gradually calm down.
That's how I feel, and I feel safe in the fire.
Then, my mind began to run again.
I didn't see it very clearly because of the rain, but I thought it was probably a panther or something, well, or a wolf.
Unfortunately, neither of these animals is something I can easily deal with.
Be careful afterward.
The rain outside was even heavier, and the coconut leaves on the top were crackling.
The firewood pile on the side has been infiltrated by rainwater, and it is likely that the drainage ditch over there has not had time to drain it.
But I don't dare to look at it now.
Suddenly, my nerves jumped.
Dark shadow, oh my!
Through the cracks in the branches, I saw a dark shadow leaning against my "hut"!
It's coming!
What does it want to do?
My heart is beating out of my throat!
I didn't even dare to make a sound at such times.
It's picking at the branches!!
I even saw a sharp claw with a cold glow!
I'm about to suffocate!
It let out a heavy snort!
