Chapter 10: The Door Without Patterns
In the defense against the dark arts class full of garlic smell, Xie An was a little speechless for Professor Rocky's endurance. Pen @ fun @ pavilion wWw. ο½ο½ο½Uο½Eγ infoThe students below are about to make a big fuss, but the professor is still rambling on how he defeated a terrifying vampire zombie. If you think Hogwarts isn't a place that likes to collect waste, then this Professor Rocky must be a man with a story.
Xie An bored flipped through the textbook of his defense class, which recorded some terrible spells, and specifically mentioned a terrible spell that could kill creatures directly, but unfortunately there was no name, let alone a detailed spell. Of course, the focus is on some defensive spells, such as armor spells, shield spells, etc., but they are written in great detail.
After the defense class ended that day, Hermione found Shea Ann and pulled him aside.
"What's wrong, Hermione?" Xie An asked helplessly.
"Andy, I have an important matter that I don't know what to do, can you help me figure it out?" Hermione thought impatiently, walking back and forth.
"What's the matter?" Xie An asked.
"I heard Harry, they were going to the tower in the middle of the night to duel Malfoy. Hermione said hurriedly.
"You want me to help Harry defeat Malfoy?" Xie An asked curiously.
"Of course not, it's against school rules to leave the dorm in the middle of the night, let alone to fight!" Hermione said angrily.
"Well, you should report this to the teacher, I'm not the dormitory administrator. Xie An said indifferently.
"But... Harry will not be expelled? Hermione asked worriedly.
"Expulsion, what are you talking about, I heard that boy is a celebrity in the wizarding world, and expelling such a boy even Dumbledore needs to be considered. You don't have to worry. Xie An saw Luna waiting for him on the side, and tidied up his schoolbag with some impatience.
"You don't want me to stop Harry, I don't know him well, what reason do I use to stop him? Hermione, you care about him so much, do you like Harry?" the direct doomsday man asked directly.
"Of course not, it's justβ" Hermione didn't look shy, but rather frustrated.
"Well, I see, Gryffindor may not be for you, and Luna and I are always ready to welcome you to join us. Let's go, it's time for us to go to dinner. "The lonely Muggle girl may think of Harry as one of her kind, but it's a pity that Harry can't protect himself, where can he give the girl a trace of warmth.
"Okay, maybe you're right, what about this?" Hermione gave up that little caution and turned her attention back to Shea.
"It doesn't matter, Luna, give me my dark arts textbook, I just remembered one thing, you said that the deadly spell could have something to do with the soul, after all, such damage is irreversible. Shayne pulled Hermione to Luna's side, and Shayne asked.
Luna looked at Hermione with a happy look and didn't answer Shea, "Hermione, welcome." β
Hermione greeted Luna embarrassedly, and the three of them chatted as they walked, and soon arrived at the auditorium.
When they met Harry and Ron head-on, they passed by, but Hermione couldn't help but turn around and chase after Harry and warn Harry, telling Harry that this was against the school rules, and that he was very likely to be caught and expelled.
Xie An looked at Hermione amusefully, and said to Luna, "So they agreed to have a wizarding duel with Malfoy in the prize room at midnight tonight? Why don't we teach them a few of the spells we learned in Defense Against the Dark Arts class?"
Luna watched curiously as Hermione criticized Ron and Harry badly, and said noncommittally, "Prize showroom? I never knew there was a place in the castle, you know, Andy?"
"Haven't heard of it. Hermione, are you alright?" Xie Ann shouted impatiently.
The haughty girl kindly warned her again, and then turned back to her companions, as if she had done a great deal.
"You know, boys are always like that. Hermione said to Luna.
"It's okay, I don't care. Xie An smiled.
At night, Ron and Harry were plotting in the bedroom.
"Harry will be my assistant, but I'm afraid Malfoy will do it. We need to be prepared. Ron confidently arranged. Harry hesitated, not knowing if he should listen to Hermione's advice.
"What if Malfoy lied to us. Harry asked worriedly.
"Then we'll call him a coward tomorrow! Whoever doesn't go is a coward." Ron said heroically.
After meditating all night, Xie Ann had no idea what had happened yesterday, and it wasn't until the next day that he heard everyone's talk about the score of the house that he realized that Harry and the others had all been caught by Feige.
Ron and Harry inflicted a minus 100 penalty on Greenington, and it was decided by Professor McGonagall herself. Malfoy wasn't much better, but Malfoy denied it, and Silver Snake Academy was deducted twenty points.
Ravenclaw did the first position in the academy in a fair way, which made the students of the academy happy for a long time.
During lunch, Shayne saw Harry and Ron sitting alone, and the students of the Lion Academy looked at the two with strange expressions.
"Hey, Hermione, how are you doing today? Yesterday when I was dreaming, I dreamed that you had turned into a monster with three heads. Luna uttered her bizarre remarks, as if completely unaware of Hermione's low mood.
"Oh no, it was terrible today. Hermione grumbled, "They two idiots still did that, and the house lost so many points." β
"You've done everything you've had to do, what's there to complain about, Luna, today's pie looks good, do you want one. Xie An handed one to Luna and said as she ate.
"Andy, don't be stupid, we're a house, losing points made Greenington lose face, you don't know, Professor McGonagall went to the common room today to warn us, saying that we were the worst students. Hermione said loudly.
Xie An raised his chin and looked at Hermione scrutinically: "Calm down, Hermione, impulsiveness at this time will only cloud your judgment. β
Hermione was a little frightened by Xie An's staring, and the girl who had calmed down looked at Luna on the other side embarrassedly. "It's all Ron's fault!" Hermione grumbled under her breath, snatching the latest issue of Singing Against Tune from Luna's hand and looking down.
"Hermione, you snatch my book. I'm busy reading the dream interpretation column above, and there is a mention of the three-headed monster I dreamed of!" Luna tried to snatch her book back.
"What three-headed monster, what are you talking about, is this dream interpretation column?" Hermione placed the book between the two of them, and the two girls stared at the dream interpretation column on the book and chattered. Xie An didn't even look at it disappreciably, and lowered his head to eat his lunch.
"How can you think of me as a big dog with three heads, I am like that in your heart?" Hermione complained.
"I told you everything, it was a dream, a strange dream. Dad said I had a habit of sleepwalking, maybe I saw it when I was sleepwalking. Luna hurriedly explained.
"Do you still have memories of sleepwalking? I don't believe it, it's because you imagined me to be a monster. Hermione continued.
"You two don't talk about it, hurry up and eat, and you have to go to class. Xie An reminded.
"Andy, can you help me with something tonight?" said Luna.
"What's the matter?" Xie An asked curiously.
"I think this dream is too real, maybe this portends something, can you help me make sure?" said Luna solemnly.
Xie An just wanted to say that the dream was nonsense, but when he saw Luna's solemn expression, he had no choice but to say, "Okay, how do you want to confirm it." β
"I remember in a dream where Hermione and I were playing in the castle, and as we walked, Hermione turned into a huge brown three-headed monster, is there any way you can help me confirm this dream?"
Xie An listened to this worthless clue, and said helplessly: "This is obviously a nonsensical dream, how can it be confirmed." β
Seeing how serious Luna was, Hermione asked seriously, "Do you remember where we we've been?"
"I remember we got out of class first, then we got to the first floor, andβ" Luna tried to make her description clear, but both Hermione and Shayne frowned.
"Oh, Luna, I believe you, maybe it was a strange dream. Hermione sensed her friend's confusion, and the girl, who didn't want her friend to continue to think about it, hurried to her rescue.
"You said you saw a strange wooden door upstairs? Is there any pattern on it, I mean those magic runes, or whatever. Xie An has a natural sensitivity to magic runes, and when he heard Luna's messy but well-detailed description, he believed it a little.
"Texture, no, just a very old ordinary wooden door. Luna recalled.
"No, the wooden doors in the castle basically have different decorations and textures, and there are very few without decorations and textures, so let's take the time to look for them in the afternoon." The stairs change, but the texture on the doors rarely changes. Xie An said.
"Andy, why are you coaxing, I'm just talking and playing, I know Luna doesn't think like that. Seeing that both of them were serious, Hermione said with some uneasiness.
"Hermione, you're thinking too much, maybe Luna is telling the truth, maybe she's really found something. Xie An said calmly.
