Chapter 139: The Seven Great Monarchs

Andrew left the vampire's lodgings in a magic scooter similar to Mr. Weasley's modified, a wooden-clad Stedek sedan that rumbled along the road. Andrew stopped at a public phone booth not far from the house and dialed Bella's number--- hoping that the female vampire hadn't tricked him, or he would have to completely peel off her painting with deprivation magic.

The phone rang several times before a deep female voice appeared. "Beckot Mansion, I'm Bella. β€œ

"Bella Randall?" Andrew asked.

"Hmm. She replied. Her voice was velvety and furry. "Who are you?"

"My name is Andrew Lee, and I don't know if I can talk to you. β€œ

"Andrew what?" she asked.

"Lee. I'm a.... Well.... Private Detective. β€œ

She laughed, her loud voice echoing through the microphone. "Mr. Li, you want to investigate my privacy? I've already liked you. β€œ

Andrew coughed. "Ah, yes. Ms. Randall--。 β€œ

"Yes, Miss. She interrupted Andrew. "Miss Randall, I'm not married, not yet. β€œ

"Miss Randall. Andrew changed his words. "Andrew would like to ask you some questions about students studying in the Far East, if it is convenient. β€œ

There was silence on the other end of the line, and Andrew could hear the background sound, as if a radio was on, and there was a pre-recorded voice, announcing the precautions for getting on and off the bus in the North and South Zones.

"Miss Randall?"

"No, I can't. She said.

"It won't be long, and I promise, you're not the subject of my investigation. Just all at once. β€œ

"No, I can't. She told Andrew. "I'm at work, and I'm going to work all night, I don't have time to talk to you. β€œ

"That girl was a friend of yours, and she was murdered. If you could tell me any clues, maybe you can--"

She interrupted Andrew again. "There are no clues. She said. "Goodbye, Mr. Lee. β€œ

The phone was disconnected.

Andrew looked at the phone with a frown, a little puzzled--- the girl wanted to avoid trouble, but she was too calm, as if something was wrong. That's it. Confronting vampires and getting a clue, it's like playing a game and getting the key, but not being able to open the door to the next level, and Andrew has some doubts about these.

Andrew doesn't give up, Andrew thought to himself. Andrew never gave up.

The vampire had said that Bella Randall was someone's driver, and Andrew guessed it was the Betty family, or whoever it was. Andrew recognized that the recorded broadcast in the background was broadcast in the square of London Heathrow Airport, so she should have been in a car in front of the airport, eighty percent of them were about to pick up the Betchet family, and definitely not for long.

Time was pressing, Andrew started his magic classic car to catch the road, and drove hard to Heathrow Airport. It's much more difficult to send someone away in person than it is on the phone.

There are several squares at Heathrow Airport, but Andrew has to trust his good fortune - good fortune will lead him to the right path, and good luck will let Andrew meet her before the unmarried Miss Randall picks up someone and leaves. In addition, Andrew needs a little more luck to get to the airport without traffic jams.

Andrew really had a good ride to the end, and Andrew saw a small silver limousine in the second square, parked in the parking compartment, and the inside of the car was too dark to see clearly. It's a Friday evening, and the neighborhood is busy, with businessmen returning home from a long flight back home in suits. Cars are flowing in a semi-circular driveway. A uniformed strip directs traffic, trying to keep some brain-dead drivers from doing things that are useless, such as stopping in the middle of a traffic artery to pick up people.

Andrew swerved his classic car and competed for a parking lot with another regal car, because Andrew was driving a car that looked imposing, and Andrew drove harder than him, so Andrew won.

As Andrew stepped out of the car and walked to a row of public phones, Andrew kept an eye on the silver sedan. Andrew threw two cents into the phone and dialed the vampire again.

The phone in the silver sedan rang, and someone moved.

"Beckot Mansion, I'm Bella. She whispered.

"Hi Bella. Andrew said. "It's me again, Andrew Lee. β€œ

Andrew faintly heard her laughter. There was a flash of light in the car, revealing the silhouette of a woman's face, and the orange flame of a cigarette ignited. "Mr. Li, I thought I just said I didn't want to talk to you. β€œ

"I want to try again. β€œ

Her laughter was hearty. Andrew saw her head dangling in the pitch-black car. "I'm getting harder and harder to deal with, and I'll say goodbye to you again. She hung up the phone.

Andrew smiled and hung up the phone, walked over to the car, and knocked on the window.

The windows rolled down, and a woman in her twenties looked at Andrew with wide eyes. Her eyes were watery, but her eyeshadow was too thick, and her bowed lips were covered with a glossy crimson lipstick. The hair is a normal brown color, and it is combed back into a braid, which makes the cheeks quite contoured. The hair on the forehead was not combed up, but hung loosely near the eyes.

She looks aggressive, stern and shrewd. She wore a crisp white shirt and gray trousers, and held a lit cigarette in her hand. Smoke swirled around Andrew's nose, and Andrew exhaled, trying to blow the smoke away.

She looked Andrew up and down, and guessed directly, "You shouldn't be Andrew Lee?" β€œ

"Miss Randall, I really need to talk to you, it won't take much time. β€œ

She glanced at the watch and the doorway to the terminal building, then looked back at Andrew. "Well, you've put me in a dilemma, haven't you? I'm at your mercy now. Her lips twisted and she took a deep drag on her cigarette. "And I like men who persevere. β€œ

Andrew cleared his throat again. This woman is attractive, but not too overstepping. However, there are some qualities in her body that attract the devil in Andrew's body, such as her high-minded appearance and speaking attitude, which directly skip Andrew's brain, stimulating the demons in Andrew's body to cheer. It's better for Andrew to cut straight to the point and make himself look less like a bad guy. "How well do you know that international student?"

She looked at Andrew through her long eyelashes. "We were very close. β€œ

Uh-huh. "You...... Belch...... Work with her for vampires. β€œ

Linda exhaled more smoke. "That nervous little bitch. Yes, I did it with Jane (the girl's name) on her side, and we were even roommates for a while, sleeping in the same bed. She took the last word in her lips, making it sound both a little vibrato, and a mischievous smile.

"Do you know one of Byrne's men?" Andrew asked.

"Oh, of course, the work in bed is top-notch. She looked down to the seat of the car and put a hand out of Andrew's line of sight, making Andrew wonder what it was doing. "He's a regular visitor. Jane and I go to his side about twice a month to have a small party. β€œ

She leaned over to Andrew. "He's good at tricks that turn women into real beasts, Andrew Lee. You know what I mean? He can make women growl and scream, scream passionately. β€œ

Obviously, some people are naturally suited to live in a chaotic hell--- like this poor girl, who has no idea what she is seducing.

The beautiful spring dreams stirred up by her voice are something you will never forget. If Andrew gives her some chance, she will definitely let Andrew experience an indescribable beauty. You should try, with a little magic power, you can easily turn her into your toy---- demons don't hesitate to start eroding Andrew's sanity.

Fortunately, Andrew was completely accustomed to this temptation, and he shrugged his shoulders and acted like he didn't care.

"When was the last time you spoke to her?"

She took another deep puff of her cigarette, and this time Andrew saw her fingers trembling slightly, and she tried to hide her hand from Andrew again, but not fast enough this time.

She was nervous, trembling with nervousness, and now Andrew finally knew why she didn't want Andrew to see her hand in the first place. She wears a sexy kitten mask and caters to Andrew's desires instead of Andrew's brain, trying to distract Andrew from discovering something.

Not only does Andrew have to fight her with wits and courage, but more importantly, almost most of his strength is against the picture of hell. The demon tried to convince him, like the rest of the young lads, to lick his beautiful face and S-shaped body.

Bella Randall's role in this part is really fucking good. It's a pity that both Andrew and the demon inside him are well-informed and don't care about her performance at all.

So, Miss Sexy Goddess, what are you hiding?

Andrew cleared his throat and asked gently, "Miss Randall, when was the last time you spoke to a female student?"

She winked at Andrew. No matter who she is, she's not stupid. She saw Andrew reading her, and knew that Andrew had seen through her pretensions. That frivolous attitude is gone. "Are you a cop?" she asked.

Andrew shook his head. "It's not. I just want to know what the hell happened to her. β€œ

". She whispered, flicking the butt of her cigarette to the concrete floor with her fingers and exhaling a large puff of smoke. "I'm telling you, if I tell you that a police officer comes looking for Andrew, I won't admit it. I could have said nothing, you don't look like someone who would give up easily, I don't want to get in trouble, but I'm not going to admit anything...."

Andrew nodded.

"I spoke to Jane on Wednesday night. She called me, it was that day's birthday, and she wanted to go with me. The corners of her mouth twitched. "It's a reunion. β€œ

Andrew glanced at her, then leaned over her. "Have you gone?"

Her eyes were wandering and nervous, like a cat locked in a small room. "Nope. She said. "I have to work, I want to go, but--"

"Did she mention anything out of the ordinary, did she suspect she might be in a crisis?"

She shook her head again. "No, not at all. We haven't talked in a while. Since I left the Velvet House, I haven't seen her very often. β€œ

Andrew frowned at her. "Do you know what else she's doing, is she involved in anything that could threaten her life?"

She shook her head. "No, no, all none. That's not her style. She's a nice person, you know, she's from the Far East, she's a good person. A lot of girls are -- they're numb, Mr. Lee. But it never affected her. Either way, she will delight her guests. She looked away. "I can't do it. β€œ

"Don't you have anything else to tell me?

She closed her lips and shook her head. She shook her head as she had done before and lied to Andrew.

Andrew just knows. Her tone was getting tighter and tighter, and if there really wasn't anything to say, there was no need to try to hide it. She must know somethingβ€”unless the reason she gags is simply because Andrew trampled on her emotions, as he did with vampires.

All in all, she didn't want to tell Andrew anything else.

Andrew clenched his fists--- but unfortunately Andrew couldn't use the Dementor. If Bella Randall can't give Andrew a message, Andrew will be at a dead end.

"Why?" Andrew asked her, and before Andrew could even think about it, the words slipped out. "Why do you want to look so lewd?"

She looked up at Andrew again, smirking smugly. Andrew saw the subtle changes in her, and she was exaggerating the allure of being as hungry as a beast, just as Andrew had had approached her for the first time - but that couldn't hide the self-loathing in her eyes.

Andrew hurried to stay out of the way, lest the will of destruction hit her soul directly. Andrew didn't feel like he wanted to hurt Bella Randall's soul. She looked pathetic enough - no matter what she pretended.

"Mr. Lee, because that's my job. For some, it's money, alcohol, but for me, it's ambiguity, love and passion. It's just another addiction, and there are so many of them in this city. She glanced to the side. "It's second only to love, and it's something I have a job to do. Borrow it. β€œ

She opened the car door. As her slender legs walked to the back of the car in three steps and two steps, Andrew quickly took a step back to make way for her to open the rear trunk.

A tall couple stepped out of the terminal building and walked towards the sedan, both wearing glasses and fashionable gray suits. They all seem to be experts who know how to enjoy life, similar to the so-called elites who have a successful career, and have a lot of money and time to cultivate themselves - an elite couple.

The man carried a small suitcase on his shoulder and a small suitcase in his hand, while the woman carried only a briefcase. They didn't wear any jewelry, not even watches or wedding rings. It's weird.

The man threw all his luggage into the trunk of the car, looking at Bella and then Andrew. Bella avoided his gaze. He tried to speak softly so that Andrew could not hear him, but Andrew had pointed ears.

"Who is he?" he asked, a nervous tone in his voice.

"Mr. Beckett, he's just a friend, and he used to come to see me. She replied.

There are more lies and more fun.

Andrew looked over the car and looked at the woman, and Andrew guessed that it was Mrs. Bett. She looked at Andrew calmly, without any expression on her face, and looked a little eerie. Andrew had seen this face in a movie, like a prisoner who had just been released from a German concentration camp after World War II. Hollow, numb, lifeless, just don't know it yet.
