Chapter 4: The New World

Where am I?

Given's vision slowly regained from the darkness.

What appeared in front of me was a strange white desert.

A white canopy, without the sun, glowing with white light.

There are only white stones and white hills on the white earth, and everything is so dazzling.

And I was in the middle of this white.

Jiwen was disappointed that after the summoning spell was lifted, he returned to an unknown new world instead of a familiar dormitory. A deep frustration gripped him.

That kind of easy, lazy sleep every day, watching anime, watching movies, and reading novels seems to have left me forever.

He has now been summoned to this unknown fantasy world.

Not only that, but he also performed a mysterious ritual with the elves.

Givens didn't know what that meant, and he didn't know if he would never go back.

In that colorful modern world, my life has been interrupted by this accident before it really begins.

Parents who are far away from their hometowns, brothers in the same class who go to different places, as well as the mountains and rivers of their hometowns, and familiar campuses. Everything in my life came to me at once.

Jiwen, who had always thought he was strong, finally couldn't hold it anymore, he suddenly felt that he had no strength in his body, and sat down all of a sudden, motionless.

Givens sat like that, I don't know how long it took.

Finally, his arm moved.

After the emotions were vented just now, his heart finally quieted down and he began to think about the current situation.

This white world is quirky.

The wounds from Given's fight with the big lizard have now miraculously healed, not even a single scar. The only remaining signs of the battle were the burnt clothes and hair.

What the hell is this place?.

Givens wiped his face vigorously with his hands, recalling what had just happened.

After being summoned to a strange otherworld, he was involved in a conflict with a giant lizard, and was finally brought into this strange space.

He even had a strange exchange of consciousness with the elf Adella, deep into the elf's memory.

It was only for a brief moment, but he seemed to spend hundreds of years in that memory.

Now he can slowly recall that fantasy world, recalling the bits and pieces that happened to the elf Adelia, and it seems that the elf's memories are also mapped into his mind.

He could now remember that the place where he had been summoned was Sodimar, the elven city of the elves, and that the elf who summoned him was Adelia, a graduating student of the city's summoning academy.

Adella had a rough fate, and as an orphan, she was adopted by a humble family. It was only with hard work, amazing talent, and a little luck that he was able to study in the Summoning Academy and become a summoner.

And those two hateful purple-robed guys are the heiress of the Ayol family, the largest family in the city, and are also Adella's classmates, and of course, they are the contenders for admission to the Royal Calling Academy.

There are many more stories of Adella, but reading those complex memories quickly consumes Given's mental power.

Whenever he had been silent in the elf's memory for too long and drained his mental power, a heart-rending pain would come from his head, forcing him back to reality.

This time, Jiwen's consciousness just wanted to go deeper, looking for clues to this white world, but his consciousness was recalled to his body by pain, and he could no longer enter the elven memory.

Givens sighed and stood up.

He looked around, and there was a desolation all around, and no matter which way he looked, there was only the monotonous and dull white.

Since you don't know the direction here, let's just find a direction and go down, it's better than waiting here to die.

As long as you move forward, you may be able to find villages, caravans, and rivers to survive.

So Givens took a step and walked into the distance.

After a few hours of walking, Givens finally realized that something was wrong with the world.

With that mysterious brute force, Jiwen's pace far exceeded his imagination, and the Gobi Desert was left behind him. But along the way, he didn't see any living creatures. There are no plants, no insects, no birds or animals, not even any trace of a water source.

But there are many traces of biological activity on the white rocky beaches along the way, there are huge footprints, mudflats after the fight, and even swords and broken fabrics.

Of course, the most bizarre point is in Given, who has been walking for seven or eight hours in a row, but except for a slight fatigue in his muscles, he does not have any physical discomfort.

No hunger, no thirst, no sweating, no sleepiness or even the urge to urinate.

All of this forms a myriad of question marks that stay in Given's mind.

But Jiwen had no answer, so he could only continue walking.

Finally, after about seven or eight hours of walking, he saw the first creature since he had entered this world.

On the hill in the distance, there was a large lizard lying on its stomach, and the lizard seemed to be exactly the same as the hell lizard that had been killed earlier.

The lizard seemed to have spotted the intruder, and it quickly climbed down the hill and ran towards Givan as if ready to attack the tiny prey.

But the lizard was halfway through and suddenly stopped. The scarlet eyes, staring at Jiwen, the tongue in his mouth sticking out, sniffing desperately, as if trying to determine something.

Jiwen was also up and down at the moment, he didn't expect to have another duel with this kind of monster so soon. The space here is vast, and it seems that it is more suitable for this lizard to hide from a distance and set fireballs, so it seems that the idea needs to be close.

A man and a lizard confronted each other for the time being.

However, as time passed, Jiwen felt more and more that the guy opposite seemed to be the one he had killed just now, and the markings on his forehead and the notch on his forehead were almost identical.

Can the summoned beast be resurrected?

Givenn thought to himself that if it was really the man who had just come back from defeat, it should be able to remember its bravery and maybe scare it away.

So he grabbed a large rock beside him and threw it at the lizard in the distance with all his might.

Accelerated by Given's brute force, the stone flew out like a cannonball, and then slammed into the ground, smashing a deep pit in the ground and stirring up a sky of dust.

Although the stone bombardment was huge, the accuracy was too poor, and the lizards far away from the landing point were not hurt at all.

But the strange power shown by Ke Jiwen seemed to remind the lizard of a painful experience.

It stared at Jiwen for a few seconds, and then suddenly fled to the back of the hill in a panic as if it had been stung.

Looking at the helllizard's panicked appearance, Govern smirked, but after ten seconds, his smile froze on his lips.

"God, you're not kidding me, are you?"

With a huge tremor, a dozen hell lizards emerged from behind the ridgeline, and they all rushed towards Jiwen in unison.

Especially the one in the lead, it stared at Jiwen in the distance, and a low roar erupted from its bloody mouth, as if it was chasing its enemy.

It can't be such a coincidence!

It may be a little sure to deal with one by yourself, but it seems too reluctant to take on such a group alone.

Jiwen immediately turned around and fled for his life.

But after running for a while, Jiwen realized that even if he tried his best, he couldn't shake off the red-eyed lizards behind him.

Not only that, but fireballs flew behind Jiwen from time to time, but fortunately, these fireballs were pitiful in size and poor in accuracy, which allowed Jiwen to escape.

After running for almost an hour, the footsteps behind Jiwen were getting closer and closer, and the vibrations caused by those lizards running almost shook Jiwen's heart out.

Isn't it said that lizards are cold-blooded animals and can't support long-term exercise?

How can these lizards run so long?

Govern painfully recalled his poor knowledge of biology, and felt that he would not be able to escape the lizards today.

But at this moment, there was a sudden thunderclap from the sky.

A flash of lightning appeared behind Jiwen, and the lizards were caught off guard and struck by the powerful lightning. A powerful electric current passed through the lizards' bodies, causing them to stop, paralyze and fall, and finally flee in all directions.

Who saved him? Givens looked up at the sky.

A flying carpet was descending from the sky, floating a few feet away from him, and a pile of garbage of all kinds was piled up on top of it. Next to the garbage heap sat an old goblin with a staff.

The old goblin's green skin was full of wrinkles and age spots, his beard was white, his body was covered in a shabby linen garment, his staff seemed to be a rotten wood, and even the flying carpet was covered with dust.

This goblin is similar to Master Yoda in Jiwen's memory, with the only exception being that he seems to be taller.

"Who are you?"

Jiwen asked curiously as he ran. Although he didn't understand the principle, Gevin was clearly able to communicate freely with the creature.

"Do you still have time to care about this? New kid, do you want to come up?"

The old goblin pointed to his flying carpet.

Givens looked back at his pursuers, and although the lightning had dispersed the lizards, they were still following from a distance, and could pounce again at any moment.

There is no choice now.

Jiwen nodded and asked loudly, "Can you take me away from this group of four-legged snakes?"

The old goblin didn't answer, just tapped his staff.

"Ding Dong!"

With a strange noise. Givens found himself instantly being moved into the pile of garbage, overwhelmed by the broken copper and iron.

He pushed away a broken shield in front of him and struggled to poke his head out, only to see the helllizards howling angrily at him on the ground not far away, full of dissatisfaction with the loss of their prey.

At this moment, he heard the old goblin shout, "Hold on, we are going to heaven!"

The flying carpet jerked upward, and Givens immediately grabbed the surface of the flying carpet and watched as the giant lizards turned into dots in a white field.
