The Mongols were superstitious, and Ogedei invited a sorcerer to exorcise his illness. The sorcerer said to Ögedei, "The Great Khan has fought for many years, killed too many people, and destroyed the city, which has aroused the wrath of the god of the mountains and rivers, and the god of heaven will detain the Great Khan for his guilt." ”

When Ogedei heard the sorcerer's words, he was terrified, so he asked the sorcerer for advice on how to liberate him. The sorcerer said, "At least one prince must go and ask the gods to take the place of the Great Khan in order to avoid the Great Khan's calamity." ”

Among the princes, there was only Tuo Lei with him at that time, so Wo Kotai ordered someone to call Tuo Lei to his side and said, "Fourth brother, I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to do this disease." ”

Seeing Wokotai calling him the fourth brother, Tuo Lei was very moved, and hurriedly said: "The third brother occasionally contracted a minor illness, and he will be fine in three or five days, why do you say this?"

Okotai said, "The wizard prayed for me, and Heaven blamed me, and he would detain me, and if I did not go, he said that he would not do it unless a prince would do it for me." Now the prince who is with the army only has the fourth brother, but it is okay to have no me in the army, and it is absolutely impossible to do without you. So my brother has to call you here and settle down, after I go, my brother will ......"

Without waiting for Wokotai to finish speaking, Tuo Lei hurriedly said: "Since the younger brother can be replaced, it is incumbent on him, the third brother is the master of a country, and it is absolutely indispensable." After saying that, he ordered the attendant to invite the wizard out.
