AC Milan started the league with Juventus, Inter Milan and Napoli, and the scores of these three teams were very tight, with Napoli in first place and AC Milan in second place separated by one point, Inter Milan in third place and AC Milan in third place with the same number of points, only because of the disadvantage of goal difference, and Juventus and Inter Milan in fourth place were also only one point behind.

Interestingly, none of the four teams were able to beat each other in the first leg of the league matchup, and each received only one point. "Perhaps this year's league will be the most intense in more than a decade, and if this trend continues, all four teams could win the league title," said Sport. ”

Although Milan are in a stalemate with their rivals in the league, they have played to their greatest advantage in the Champions League. They won all six of their group games, scoring a staggering 18 points, securing the top spot in the group two rounds ahead of schedule and advancing to the round of 16.

It's a pity that all this has nothing to do with the four Chinese players, all four of them have very little playing time, and even if they can play, most of the time they play as substitutes. Zhang Shujie has only scored five goals in these two key games, including one in the Champions League and four in the league; Chen Zihua and Xu Ziyi have only scored one goal each in the league so far, and have not scored in the Champions League; not to mention Yan Tao, the knife of the defender with a knife has become dull with age, and the number of goals in the league and the Champions League is zero.

From these details, it is not difficult to see that AC Milan has successfully renewed. In fact, since last season, AC Milan's young players have begun to provoke the beams, and the veterans have also played some roles in some key moments, which can be regarded as a kind of guidance for young players. And since this season, the role of the veterans has gradually been diluted. The stats show that even without the two goals of Chen Zihua and Xu Ziyi, AC Milan can still get three points in these two games. Of Zhang Shujie's six goals, only one goal was scored directly for AC Milan, and the remaining five only added to his personal honor book.

Everyone gradually has to face a reality that they are unwilling to face, but have to face: Zhang Shujie, they are really old, their role of AC Milan has become smaller and smaller, and it will not be long before they leave.

"Milan Sports Newspaper" has long said: "If it weren't for the Milan boss Li Yonghong, they might not be able to stay in Milan at the age of thirty-four or thirty-five." Although they have accepted a significant salary cut, the team still has to spend tens of millions of euros on them every year, which is a lot of money. Don't get me wrong, it's not that we don't think they can't stay here, it's just that we have to accept the cruel fact that these four meritorious veterans really don't have much time to stay in San Siro. ”

In fact, in addition to Zhang Shujie, the four Chinese players, Vazquez and Milan also only have the last year of their contracts. Milan have made it clear that they will not renew Vazquez's contract, and Vazquez has not blamed Milan, the Real Madrid academy player has said that after leaving Milan, he will return to Espanyol for another year and then retire.

After New Year's Day, the Asian Cup will start again, but this time in the Asian Cup, only Xu Zhixin is still the old face of the past, but he is also a 31-year-old veteran. Xu Zhixin put on the armband of the captain of the Chinese team, and he deeply felt that the difference between these players and his former teammates was too great, and Xu Zhixin could not recognize them in terms of cooperation or personal ability. Even the Chinese commentator said: "When these players play with Xu Zhixin, they are like amateur players. ”

It is conceivable how far such a team can go. Xu Zhixin dragged the Chinese team into the knockout round alone, but in the end they lost to Australia with a 1:4 disparity, Xu Zhixin scored a face-saving goal for the Chinese team, but all this has become no longer important. The Chinese team has dominated the Asian Cup for three consecutive years, and with the gradual departure of the veterans, at this moment, it has come to an end.

At the press conference after the game, Xu Zhixin said in front of all reporters: "Over the years, the Chinese team has won too many honors, and I also know that many people regard the Chinese team as the declining king before the game. I've been playing for the national team since I was 18 years old, and now I've been 13 years and I've been getting a lot with the team, so I think it's time for me to leave. ”

The Chinese reporters in the audience listened to him calmly finish this sentence, and when Ma Junqiang, Zhang Shujie, Li Mu and other players announced their retirement from the national team one by one, people had already guessed that the last one would be Xu Zhixin. Now, Xu Zhixin personally said that he withdrew from the national team at the press conference, and no one thinks it is too strange.

His predecessors are gone, and he himself naturally stays for a short time. Especially in this mediocre national team, Xu Zhixin can't take them alone.

Chen Hui sighed, and Xu Zhixin's withdrawal also said that the golden generation of the Chinese national team came to an end. How long will it take for so many "heroes" to emerge again in the future? I'm afraid no one knows. In those years, the junior talents of the Chinese team were completely a blowout stage, and in just a few years, Ma Junqiang, Zhang Shujie, and Li Mu appeared. Now, almost ten years, not a single one.

There is no doubt that the talent pool of Chinese football has been cut off, and it is no wonder that Ma Junqiang said that it will take five to ten years to prepare, because there is no one at this stage, and it can only be found among children around the age of fifteen. Everyone knows that this is difficult to do, but if Chinese football wants to take off again, someone has to do it. Ma Junqiang became the first person to eat crabs.

Chen Hui listened that Guo Fan was already thinking of ways to prepare for Ma Junqiang's entry into the Football Association, and An Rong planned to start with the high school football league to find "the next Zhang Shujie".

No one can say for sure what will happen in the future, and Chen Hui hopes that they can succeed.

********************

At the press conference, Xu Zhixin finished what he had to say, then he stood up, bowed to all the reporters in the audience, and when he looked up again, there were already tears on his face.

He was only thirty-one years old, he was reluctant to leave the national team, he was eager to fight for the national team for many more years. However, he found that the atmosphere of the national team is very bad now, and he clearly remembers that in this Asian Cup, many players think that even if the group qualification is completed, they do not even have the desire to go further, and this kind of team that lacks fighting spirit cannot achieve achievements at all.

Xu Zhixin is gone, leaving the national team forever, and the last world champion has taken off the shirt printed with the five-star red flag. Since then, the glory of the national team has come to an end.
