In the finals, contestants are required to play a concerto from Group G with the orchestra accompaniment, and the competition will be played for about 35 minutes.

This concerto was composed by Chopin in the autumn of 1829.

Chopin did not write many works for orchestra, and his two piano concertos (F minor and E minor) were an early attempt in this area in his early years.
