Even if these difficulties are overcome, it does not mean that it is possible to refine qualified biodiesel from animal and vegetable fats.

In the process of chemical production, the water and free fatty acids in the oil raw materials will seriously affect the yield and quality of biodiesel, so the fatty acid methyl ester produced is not very stable.

When the temperature is too high, the fatty acids in the fat become unsaturated. In this case, biodiesel will also change color and deteriorate......

The purification of the product is complex, the ester is difficult to wave, the by-products generated by the reaction are difficult to remove, and the use of acid-base catalysts will also produce a large amount of wastewater, which makes the secondary pollution of this production method to the environment particularly serious......

Therefore, although this technology was developed by scientists in the mid-eighties and put into production, it has not been popularized.

Even in the context of the increasing depletion of energy, various countries have worked hard to study this kind of fuel that can replace diesel with rapeseed, soybean and corn, but they still have not been able to find a particularly good way, and there is a revolutionary breakthrough in the production process and extraction method.
