Chapter Fifty-Nine: A Cloud-Piercing Arrow
Oops, it's been a long time. After graduation, you are unemployed, and it may be stable for a while.

In a short period of time, European wizarding families have brought their family members to meet at Neuschwanstein Castle. The temporary castle, and the surrounding town, soon became overcrowded, and the streets, squares, and courtyards in front of the castle were filled with the clash of swords, the neighing of mounts, and the shouting of shouts.
"How many have arrived?" asked Watson as Michelle Nottdam and his relatives galloped toward the castle.
"About fifteen thousand people, almost all the main families came. Today, the families of the last few remote places also arrived. β
"How's the dinner ready?"
Watson sighed. "It's reluctant...... Most of the house-elves have been sent out to deliver letters, and although the owl is not safe, is it too extreme for us to rely on the house-elves for all our communications?"
"I have my own arrangements. Phoenix said thoughtfully.
When the night covers the sky, the welcome dinner officially begins.
Phoenix went for a long run in a new sky-blue gown. He wears a Peverier heraldic brooch made of black jade inlaid with amethyst pinned to his chest.
Inside the oak gates, seven long tables fill the halls of the castle. People crowded the benches one after another, because since Bridget Winlock discovered the magical properties of the number seven, people have made up as many as they can, as long as they don't have to. Especially some major events.
As Hermione walked through the hall, the crowd cheered and shared their joy. Michelle sat on Phoenix's left under his care.
"Long time no see, Uncle Michelle. Phoenix hugged him and patted him on the back, "I remember the last time I saw you, when I was seven years old. β
"Yes. Congratulations, you've won the battle. He forced a smile.
"We'll talk about that later. Phoenix said to him. At this time, only Watson shouted loudly, and the audience was silent. Phoenix then put his wand to his throat and welcomed them in the name of his Peverell patriarch, thanking them for their old covenant and generous help.
"May this unite us for ever," he said, concluding his speech, raising his silver cup.
"Forever!" the silver cups collided with each other.
"Well, there's nothing more important than filling your stomach. Let's start eating!" the golden plate in front of them was suddenly full of food.
The feast was extremely sumptuous, and the dishes were dizzying one after another. Grilled beef shank, venison pie stuffed with bacon and mushrooms, lamb chops coated with honey and cumin, spiced duck, peppered wild boar, roast goose, yakitori chicken and pigeon skewers, barley beef. Sara helped bring a hundred boxes of seafood from the North Sea sealed in the sea: whitefish, crabs and mussels, as well as clams, herring, cod, salmon, lobster, and the seafood dishes were delicious. Honey cake and oatmeal cookies everywhere. Wheels of snow-white cheese, jugs of leprechaun wine and cold butterbeer rested at each table, and the musicians played enthusiastically and elegantly, but the strings and wind music were soon burst into laughter, and the singers sang beautifully.
"Do you have any good news for me? Since you're here, can I understand that you predicted that I would win?" Phoenix looked at Michelle.
"You can win or lose, I'm just gambling. Michelle said.
He raised an eyebrow.
"Explain. β
"Your family has been winning again, and you have even become the mindset of many families. We're no exception. As for this war, we do have a strong prophecy for us, but that doesn't mean anything. The reason for the inaccuracy of the prophecy we have found. β
"What is it?" said Phoenix, looking at Lyanna Gustav not far away, and before the dinner began, she heard that she had conducted an experiment with Michelle's family.
"With Gustav's time magic, we were sure of one thing. The real prophecies have been fulfilled, but the prophecies were not made for our timeline. We mistakenly think that the prophecy is only a certain possibility for the future, but in fact, the things in the prophecy are inevitable, but you have to be sure that the prophecy was made for that timeline. β
"So which timeline is the prophecy I won?"
"It's hard to say. We have discovered this recently, and we have not had time to do any further research. And a lot of researchers have died at the Ministry of Magic, so we'd better not think about it, I'm not going to be able to find the right people anytime soon. You can only wait for a later time and start the research again. β
"It's not good. Phoenix turned his head down to eat.
The noise gradually increased, and combined into a continuous rumbling roar, like a large chorus, making people dizzy. The families here are all allies of Peverell, but it doesn't mean that they can live in peace with each other, many families have constant grievances with each other, usually everyone is on their own side, and they don't get along with each other, and they all are thrown into a hall at once, and they don't fight, which has given the Peverell family a lot of face.
At the end of the hall, the door suddenly opened, and Phoenix looked up. Watson walked in with two new guests.
"The Dereis family represents Monsieur Alsace," he said in a sonorous voice, "his brother, Lorraine." β
People looked up from their glasses and plates. Phoenix heard Carl Birlow mutter, "What are they doing!?"
That's a problem. It seems that the Dressers have accepted the title of king of the Franks, and they are arguably enemies.
Phoenix got up.
"I'm overwhelmed by your arrival. β
As the visitors walked through the hallway, Arthas was dressed in a black robe, with some snow on his hood and long black hair tied back at the back of his head. A long silver knife hung from his waist. His brother was identical to him in appearance and attire. Phoenix judged entirely from the order in which the two marched, and it was the elder brother who walked in front.
Two people knelt down on one knee at a long table.
"Venerable Monsieur Peverell," said Arthas, "our two families have been at odds for thousands of years. Now that Europe is in turmoil, we old families are all in danger, lest we be replaced by new families, my father specially ordered me to come and conclude an alliance on behalf of all family members!"
"Wow, that's right. Phoenix sat down slowly.
"You are fooling us when you hear that you have accepted the king's bounty and are now here saying things like 'friendship endures'. Mercedes stood up and said.
"I'll be blunt, Charlie Rudolph was indeed a royal family, and he was also a wizard. Most of the wizarding families in Western Europe have submitted to his rule, do you think we should fight alone? No family would do this, our submission is only a stopgap measure, in order to survive. β
"If you refuse, we can provide asylum. Birlo said.
Arthas said without hesitation: "I have also heard that the French Provisional Ministry of Magic is the former French Galleon administrator de TrΓ©ville and his successors, who formed the Provisional Ministry of Magic at your orders, but when Charles Rudolph's army attacked them, you did not provide any support. β
"We were also attacked. β
"Your words are meaningless, they are already separated from us. The survival of the family should not depend on others, and we accepted Rudolph's reward for the sake of short-term stability. For the sake of long-term survival, we have come to form an alliance with you. β
He looked at Phoenix and smiled.
"Peverell is always a winner. β
