Chapter 113: Employment Counseling
When they reached the basement classroom, Draco was already seated, which was a rarity in normal times. Pen Fun Pavilion wWw. ο½iqugeγ ο½ο½fo
"Man, you didn't drink any potions today. Brace sat to his right and left and whispered.
"Shut up, Brace. β
"If you want me to say, you must have some plan, huh?" Phoenix pulled out the crucible and textbook, "You have to get along with any bad idea, it's all like this." β
"I'm going to make Potter pay, watch. For my father's sake. Draco said hatefully. The hand is in the pocket, like a wand.
"I'm looking forward to it," Phoenix said with a grin, "how are you going to fix him? β
Knott said to Phoenix from the front row.
"All he can think of is a child's trick, don't expect him to come up with any fierce means. β
"What do you say. Draco said excitedly.
Snape stood on the podium in his never-changing black civilian clothes. Draco lowered his voice indignantly, eagerly warning Nott that he had said these words in a low voice, like a violent sizzle, that Blaise spent five minutes in vain checking if his crucible was leaking.
Perhaps most of the class was spent arguing with Nott in a low voice, and Draco didn't move the whole class, much to Blaise's disappointment. Truth be told, with Draco's strength. Phoenix couldn't think of any way he could fix Harry, turning Harry into a slug, maybe it would be a good idea, but he didn't think Draco could do that.
It's complicated to deform people.
Towards the end of the lesson, he scooped some potions into a flask, corked them and sent them to Snape's desk for him to score. As soon as I got back to my seat, I heard the sound of something breaking.
Draco laughed happily. He leaned over and saw a potion sample shattered on the floor, and Snape was looking at Harry with a triumphant expression.
And I said, I see. Nott said contemptuously.
Snape said softly on the other side.
"Oops, then, another zero, Potter. β
Harry was speechless. He strode back to his cauldron, intending to fill another flask. But he was surprised to see that what was left of the cockle was gone.
"I'm sorry!" Hermione said, covering her mouth with her hands, "I'm so sorry, Harry. I thought you'd be done, so I'll clean it up!"
Slytherin burst into laughter, and Gryffindor had become accustomed to ignoring the unpleasantness of Potions class. They've been in Snape's Potions class for five years, and point deductions, confinement, and cynicism aren't new. Giving Harry a zero this year is probably a new measure.
As soon as the bell rang for the end of class, everyone packed up their things and left the Potions classroom chatting.
At lunchtime, Phoenix didn't eat in the auditorium. He sat under an old tree by the Black Lake, and Hermione placed the utensils with all kinds of food on the ground.
"So, you've been pestered by a lot of people lately asking if you can join the DA?" Phoenix asked in a casual tone.
"A lot of people, now that Umbridge is gone, Professor Dumbledore has returned. DA doesn't have to hide like before, and a lot of people want to learn something from you. β
Phoenix munched on the potato beef patty and said slurredly.
"You didn't tell them, I don't usually go. β
"You come to see it once in a while, don't you, anyway, and Rog is interested in teaching others, and he often comes to DA to teach magic with Harry. He has always said that as long as you study hard, you will not only get a high score in the exam, but you will also be more likely to become a wizard like you. β
"He fooled people. Phoenix said dryly.
"Don't say thatβ" Hermione felt that Rogge was right.
"Let's put it this way, magic is very talented, not that diligence is not important. But you have to be talented first, and so many wizards graduate from school every year, and a few can leave with honors like mine, or Dumbledore. β
Hermione paused, and nodded approvingly after a long time.
"Well, maybe so. Hermione said, "But if you expand the DA, Harry and Rogge alone won't be able to do it." β
"I don't want to teach anyone else. In fact, I was going to hand it over to Rogge next year, and it just so happened that he was interested in becoming a teacher. You don't need me to teach you anymore, it's up to you. β
"We're going to disband?" Hermione asked in shock.
"Not really. We're going to graduate sooner or later, this learning organization, and I hope to keep the people who are gifted and able to learn magic on their own. Progress is the only way to have a future, and magic should always be innovative. β
The breeze blows across the lake, causing ripples.
"You always think so far ahead. Hermione said puzzled.
"Talent is a matter of nature. Phoenix boasted.
"Okay, don't be shameless. Hermione said angrily, "You should at least show your face tonight so that they can see you." At least it proves that Rogge and I are not talking nonsense. β
"Listen to you. Phoenix gave Hermione a light kiss on the cheek, "This organization is going to grow like this, it's really going to be an army." β
"Don't be foolish, they're all people who want to learn the magic of self-defense, and since we have the ability, we should train them. Hermione said righteously.
He dragged his chin and said suspiciously, "I think it's more to join in the fun." β
Back in the common room, where the fifth-graders are located, they will have to go to the next for career counseling. A batch of pamphlets and leaflets about various magical professions were pushed on the table.
"Well, it doesn't look like a therapist is a good job. Brace was intently reading a leaflet with the St. Mungo's Hospital badge on the front, crossed bones and wands.
"It says you need to have at least an 'e' in Potions, Herbology, Transfiguration, Charms, and Defence Against the Dark Arts on n.e.w.ts exams. Their requirements are not too high. But there seems to be little future. β
Slytherin was clearly divided into two groups, one of whom had their own property and did not need to worry about their future employment. The other part is people of half-blood, who really need to read these magical profession introductions.
"Treating the sick is a noble profession. Daphne said absentmindedly. She read another book about the recruitment requirements for the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.
"Whatever he is, who cares about this employment counseling. Draco unconsciously waved his wand, turning a Gringotts introduction into an ugly dark orange.
"Maybe you're fit to do this, Draco. Phoenix picked up the employment counseling schedule and looked, "Considering you've always been merciful to Potter's men, it can be seen that you have a lot of love." β
Laughter all around.
"Hey, hell. Don't make fun of me, bother. Draco said annoyedly.
"Okay, okay. Do not say. Phoenix grimaced, indicating that he wasn't smiling, "I'll go find Professor Snape first." (To be continued.) )
