If AC Milan in the Champions League against Atletico Madrid in the last game was under the high pressure of the opponent, then in this round of the match with Wolfsburg, AC Milan was defeated by their own mistakes at the back. First, Donnarumma was unstable in the 22nd minute, and Wolfsburg seized the opportunity to open the scoring, and then in the 79th minute of the second half, the Milan defense was cut off by the opponent in the back and forth of passes, and after a single shot into the penalty area, the score was locked at 2:0.

Since then, AC Milan has ushered in two consecutive defeats in the Champions League, no matter how many points they have accumulated, they have the same points as Wolfsburg, and they rely on goal difference to rank second, and they are in danger of advancing to the knockout stage.

After the game, AC Milan was criticized by the media, from the players to the coach, and those fans even scolded directly, regardless of Inzaghi, a hero from both the player and the coaching era.

"What is AC Milan playing? The strikers can't score the goal, the defender can't keep the ball. It is normal that only Mbappe is the only one in the entire AC Milan team, and the other players are not on the line at all. Could it be that AC Milan is tired of winning too much in the Champions League and league in recent years?

The players also came out to speak out, and Mbappe said: "We have had some difficulties in recent times, but I hope the outside world doesn't blame us too much, we will adjust in the following games." ”

Some Mbappe fans said: "If AC Milan doesn't plan to make a change to the current squad at the end of the season, then Mbappe should go, Real Madrid will be a very good place to go." ”

As we all know, Mbappe has been a Real Madrid fan since he was a child, ten years ago, Vernorentino thought about introducing Mbappe and letting him succeed Ronaldo, but because Asensio's growth exceeded expectations, and Mbappe asked Real Madrid for an annual salary of 15 million euros at that time, which made the club unacceptable, so it was put on hold for the time being.

Mbappe is now 29 years old and will be 30 when he can go to Real Madrid, at which age it is not so realistic. It's better to stay in Milan, anyway, Mbappe is also the one who won the league and the Champions League at Milan City, and in the 2022 World Cup, he also won the World Cup, and won the Ballon d'Or that year, and became the World Footballer of the Year.

Mbappe is not a fool either, his emotional intelligence is frighteningly high, and he knows that he can only play for Asensio when he goes to Real Madrid now, so he will definitely not go. Although the current AC Milan brother is still Zhang Shujie in name, Zhang Shujie is too old, and everything in Milan now revolves around Mbappe.

Therefore, AC Milan must see the fact that if they want to achieve good results, they can no longer regard Zhang Shujie, who is already 36 years old and will not stay in Milan next season, as the core, but spend more attention on Mbappe.

In the 14th round of Serie A, Mbappe played very well in the game, but he still couldn't help the team win, he looked alone in the front court, the defense in the back field was still full of holes, and the midfield could no longer organize an effective attack when it encountered high pressing.

In the fifteenth round, AC Milan challenged Juventus away, which was a major event, Zhang Shujie returned from injury before the game, but Inzaghi did not dare to arrange him to start. State is one aspect, and age is also in the eyes of Inzaghi, today's Zhang Shujie is more suitable to be used as a wonder soldier.

The match with Juventus was a fierce affair with nine yellow cards and two red cards shown by the referee, sending off Milan and Juventus one each. Juventus scored first in the game, and after leading for most of the half, Inzaghi was replaced by Zhang Shujie. The Chinese striker who has just returned from injury is really not very good in form, he did not get too many chances, the best chance to score was in the 83rd minute, Mbappe sent a second pass to the goal with his right foot, Zhang Shujie outflanked the point, and in the case of no defense, he actually did not touch the ball, and the ball slipped out of the bottom line from the small penalty area.

Zhang Shujie, who missed a great opportunity, lay on the lawn, covering his face and breathing. This kind of short distance is an easy thing for him to start, but it may be that he is getting older and is not keeping up with the pace, or it may be that he is not fully back to his best after recovering from the injury. All in all, AC Milan missed the best chance of the game.

After the defeat, AC Milan moved up to seventh place again, and their Juventus gap was stretched even wider, deniing the league title more than half a season ahead of schedule. And Inzaghi, as the head coach, was once again pushed to the forefront.

Former Milan meritorious coach Sacchi said: "Obviously, Inzaghi still regards Zhang Shujie as a lifesaver for Milan, doesn't he remember Zhang Shujie's age? Maybe because he also saved Milan at the age of 36 or 7 when he was a player, but Inzaghi must know that too old players can't save him all the time." If even Zhang Shujie's last fig leaf can't help Inzaghi, then Inzaghi should plan for next season as soon as possible. ”

Although Saki said this more harshly, it is also an objective fact. As a top club, you can't always put your hopes on a veteran. Sacchi also believes that a better partner for Mbappe should be found as soon as possible, and at the moment, Andre Silva and Cutrone are still a little short of the fire.

AC Milan finally got the three points in the 15th round, Mbappe provided two assists, planned an attack, Andre Silva and Cutrone were named by Sacchi in a few days, and Locatelli also scored his first goal of the season to give the Rossoneri a valuable 3-0 victory.

After this game, AC Milan ushered in the final game of the Champions League group stage, and the opponent was Tottenham Hotspur. Since Atletico Madrid has already qualified one round earlier, if Milan can't beat Tottenham Hotspur in this round, then they can only look at Wolfsburg's face, you must know that Wolfsburg and Milan are both nine points, if it weren't for AC Milan's two more goal difference, they would not be in second place.

AC Milan play at home and have some advantages over Tottenham. Both teams played a little cautiously in the game, AC Milan was afraid of problems at the back, and the two wings did not dare to press, resulting in Milan not threatening a single attack in the first half, and Tottenham were not much better, half of the five attacks came from outside the box.

However, in the second half, the situation changed, AC Milan took the initiative to press out, and at the 61st minute, Cutrone rewrote the score to 1:0!
