Or the descendants of Chinese who immigrated to the United States earlier and have lived in the United States for generations. Most of them and their parents do not know Chinese, and those who do are also learned because they need Chinese to do business.

The centrists, on the other hand, are immigrants from Greater China, but not born on the mainland, or immigrants from Southeast Asia, countries that have some identification with Chinese culture. They see themselves as a separate ethnic group from white people, but they have little sense of identity with the mainland. Everything you do is for your own benefit.

Link couldn't say he belonged to that faction.

Because he has never lived in China, it is impossible for him to have too much identification with China. But his parents, both Chinese who immigrated to the United States from Chinese mainland at the end of the last century, gave him a special affection for China. He has been discriminated against by many white people since he was a child, and he does not have a complete sense of identity with the white-dominated United States.

It stands to reason that he should be in the middle of the spectrum. But he subconsciously agrees with conservatives.
