Chapter Eighty-Five: Unexpected

Phoenix is not going to delay plans indefinitely, especially when the situation starts to get on the verge of spiraling out of control. Before going to bed that night, he told Draco and Umbridge that Potter had started a martial arts training group, but it was unclear when and where they were active.

Draco nodded excitedly, jot down everything Phoenix said.

"You remember, if she tells you to capture a DA member, you just have to catch Potter. Let the others alone, and do not hinder them from escaping. Phoenix said.

"Okay, then who's in charge of telling Umbridge the time and place of the event. And I think Umbridge isn't popular with us right now, and not many people are willing to do things for her. ”

"Don't worry, I have my own arrangements. Phoenix thought for a moment, "In terms of manpower, just tell them that I ordered it." ”

Things started to go well, and on Friday night, the DA was caught by Draco and the others at a party. He was rightfully summoned.

On the way, Rogge gave a general account of what had happened.

No sooner had they reached the eighth floor than members of the DA rushed out and fled, apparently with someone tipping off. They had men in all the hallways, blocking Potter at the bathroom door. Umbridge told them to search all the bathrooms. Of course, he and Draco sent the Slytherins back to the common room.

"By the way, there seems to be more than one person who has given Umbridge news. Rogge casually mentioned.

"What? who is it?" it was strange, he only had Ekmo and Autumn, could it be that the Imperius Curse was wrong.

"I don't know, Umbridge didn't mention anyone's name, you have to be careful. Rogge reminded. He nodded, ascending the spiral staircase alone.

Phoenix came to Dumbledore's office, and it was packed. Dumbledore sat behind the desk with a serene expression, the tips of his slender fingers clasped together. Professor McGonagall stood straight beside him, her expression very nervous. The Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge, stood by the fire, swaying slightly back and forth excitedly, clearly pleased with the situation, and the two wizards stood on either side of the gate like guards. Percy Weasley, freckled and bespectacled, walked excitedly around the wall, holding a quill and a thick roll of parchment, apparently ready to take notes.

Umbridge stood next to Harry, smiling disgustingly at the current situation. Harry stood blankly.

Tonight, none of the portraits of the male and female old principals pretended to sleep. They were all alert and serious, watching the movement below. As soon as Phoenix entered, several old headmasters flew into the neighboring picture frame and the neighbors bit their ears eagerly. Headmaster Phineas beckoned to him warmly—he was the only Slytherin headmaster.

"Alright, everyone who should come is here. Don't be afraid, it's nothing, I'd like to ask you to be an interrogator, we have something to attend to here. Fudge had a gloating look on his face.

"What do you want me to witness, as a youth representative of the Wizengamot, I'm afraid I'm not as important as you think. Phoenix said slowly.

"Don't say that, I've signed a decree. Fudge pulled out a piece of parchment and handed it to Phoenix. It was an executive order in which Phoenix temporarily presided over the Emergency Trial Court against Harry Potter.

"Oh well. Phoenix put away the parchment and made it on the chair at hand. But there was no hint of questioning in my heart. Fudge gave him a satisfied look and a look at Umbridge. And that's where it begins.

"He's on his way back to Gryffindor Tower. Umbridge said. There was an inappropriate excitement in her tone, "That Malfoy kid is blocking him. ”

"Yes, yes?" said Fudge approvingly, "I have to remember to tell Lucius." Okay, Potter - I think you know why you're here, right?"

"I don't know. Harry changed his words halfway through.

"I'm sorry, what did you say?" Fudge said.

"I don't know. Harry said firmly.

"You don't know why you're here?"

"Yes, I don't know. Harry said.

"Then you don't know. Fudge said in an unabashedly sarcastic tone, "Why did Professor Umbridge bring you to this office?

"School rules?" said Harry, "no. ”

"What about the Ministry of Magic's decree?" Fudge asked angrily, changing his perspective.

"At least it didn't violate the ordinance that I knew. Harry said calmly.

"So, this is the first time you've heard of it," Fudge said, now in an angry tone, "that an illegal student organization has been found in this school?"

"yes, that's right. Harry said, with an expression of disbelief on his face, as if he had no idea and was very surprised.

"Minister, I think," Umbridge said softly beside Harry, "that if I bring in the whistleblower, maybe we'll move faster." ”

"Yes, yes, go ahead. Fudge nodded and said, after Umbridge left the room, he glanced at Dumbledore with bad intentions, "Nothing is a good witness, is it, Dumbledore?"

"That's right, Connelly. Dumbledore nodded, his voice low.

Everyone waited for a few minutes, without anyone looking at anyone, and then Phoenix heard the door open behind him. Umbridge walked into the room past him.

Phoenix turned his head and saw Ron following Umbridge, and was stunned, this was not the person he had arranged. Was he going to expose his friend Potter?, Ekmo covered his face nervously.

Harry couldn't believe what was happening in front of him.

"Don't panic, my dear, don't be afraid," Professor Umbridge said softly, patting her on the back, "and it's all right now." You're doing it right. The minister is very happy with you. He'll tell your mom that you're a good girl. Minister, Marietta's mother," she added, looking up at Fudge, "it's Lady Ekmore from the Office of the Magical Transportation Division's Floo Network - you know, she's helping us keep an eye on the fires at Hogwarts." ”

"Great, great!" "Where there is a mother, there must be a daughter," said Fudge, "well, well, speak up, dear, and look up, don't be ashamed, and let us hear you—oh my God!"

When Marietta looked up, Fudge jumped backwards in fright, and nearly fell into the fire. He cursed and stomped on the hem of his cloak that had begun to smoke. Marietta wailed and pulled the collar of her robe under her eyes, but before she could do so, everyone could see that a dense series of purple pus had crawled over her nose and cheeks, showing the word "whistleblower", which made her face look as ugly as it was.

"Don't worry about the spots now, my dear," said Umbridge impatiently, "pull the robe off her mouth, and tell the minister—" but Marietta let out another sullen wail, shaking her head desperately.

"It's okay, Minister. Ron knew the situation, too—" Umbridge looked at Ron. He looked at the floor, without answering or moving.

Percy said to her brother encouragingly, "Ron, it's all right - tell the minister what do you know?"

"Has your good friend Potter been organizing regular gatherings over the past few weeks?" asked Fudge.

Ron nodded, then shook his head.

"What does that mean, kid?" asked Umbridge, a little annoyed.

"No, Harry—it's Peverell," Ron pointed to Phoenix. (To be continued.) )
