Chapter 82: King Weasley
The fact that their small group was quickly forming and doing it right under Umbridge's nose was exciting. Usually, when members see each other on the verandah, they will greet each other. The relationship between at least the three colleges has become closer.
This caused some accidents, as Harry got into a fight with a few Hufflepuffs in Hogsmeade, but Ernie was able to stop them in time. Those people were all admirers of Cedric, and they almost blocked Harry.
Soon, news began to circulate that Harry liked Cho, but the problem was that Cho had not yet broken up with Cedric, and the love triangle quickly became a hot topic. You can hear all sorts of rumors in all corners of the castle, including Cedric telling Hufflepuff to teach Harry a good lesson.
At the second PA meeting, Phoenix gave a detailed explanation of the theory and process of the magic Animagus. Back in the dorm, Phoenix asks Hermione about Harry and Autumn's current relationship. Hermione didn't hesitate to tell everything she knew.
"Do you think Potter would risk his life for the sake of Autumn?" Phoenix said. Hermione used this as a metaphor.
"Yes, he's been thinking about DA and Autumn all day, otherwise you think Harry didn't say a word in that vicious woman's class lately. Hermione shook her head in confusion.
"Really?" said Phoenix absentmindedly, "this is his first love, how can he not be distracted." ”
Hermione suddenly hugged his arm and said softly, "Why haven't you seen Melinda next to you lately, and she won't come to the party." ”
"Oh," Phoenix was a little nervous, "who knows, maybe she thinks it's dangerous that I didn't ask Umbridge for a reorganization." Blatant disobedience to the rules is not a habit of Slytherin. It's also possible that Melinda doesn't like me to be with you, whatever. ”
"So you're secretly violating it. Hermione let go of her hand in satisfaction and said goodbye to Phoenix. And instead of going to the seventh floor, he went to the Ravenclaw lounge.
This is perhaps a better plan.
Plans are always changing, and with a frenetic approach like Phoenix, there is a lot of variation. It looks like Gryffindor will be able to finish the first game safely.
With the first Quidditch match of the season just around the corner, Gryffindor and Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff are very concerned about the outcome as they take on them next year. Although the deans of the two academies pretend to be free and easy on the surface, they are secretly determined to see their side win.
Snape's preference is clear: his constant pre-lease of pitches for Slytherin makes it difficult for Gryffindor to find a training venue. He also ignored reports of Slytherin students attempting to use magic to trap Gryffindor players in the hallways. When Arya Spinnett's eyebrows obscured her eyes and mouth and she was taken to the school hospital, Snape insisted that she had used the hair growth charm herself, and refused to listen to the testimony of the fourteen witnesses. They had seen Slytherin Miles spell her from behind in the library.
Professor McGonagall waived Gryffindor for a week of homework to give them more time to train. And all Slytherins were double the homework, and it could be said that for the first time in many years, there was such a full-fledged confrontation between the two sides, from the student to the professor.
November is approaching, and every morning is a layer of frost, and the icy wind cuts the hands and cheeks. The sky and the ceiling of the Great Hall turned a pale blue-gray, the mountains around Hogwarts wore snow caps, the temperature in the castle dropped so much, and many students wore thick dragonskin gloves during breaks in the hallways between classes.
It was a sunny and cold morning on the day of the race.
They were warmly welcomed at the Slytherin table, where each was greeted with a silver scarf and hat.
"Defeat them—"
"Let them always be awesome—"
"We've got Peverell—"
"You should eat more. "Daphne is enthusiastic, okay. Everyone's enthusiasm was high except for Phoenix, and people kept coming over to see him before the game. Others are giving the cheering banner sitting for the final tweaks.
"Alright, guys. Let's go. Montay saw the Gryffindor players get up and rushed to the pitch to warm up.
"Look, I've perfected my songs. Draco was at the front of the pack with Phoenix, and he looked triumphant.
"Against Weasley?"
"Of course, he'll regret getting on the broomstick. ”
After a routine pre-match lecture, Phoenix finally learned who the new Slytherin batsmen were, Crabbe and Goyle. It's hopeless. A lot of people on Phoenix's championship team graduated, and the new captain, Monty, had to find a new man, apparently coming in through the back door.
"You idiot, do you want us to lose?" Phoenix whispered to Draco.
"How do you say that?" he said, blankly.
"Forget it, when I didn't say it. ”
"It's time," Monty yelled, looking at his watch, "let's go—"
The team stood up, took their broomsticks, and marched out of the locker room into the dazzling sunlight, where they were greeted with thunder, cheers and whistles masking everything.
"The captains shook hands," the referee called out Mrs. Hooch, and Angelina and Monty came together. Montay could tell that she wanted to pinch Angelina's fingers, but she didn't winch. "Get on a broomstick—"
Mrs. Hodge shoved the whistle into her mouth and blew it hard.
Fourteen players soared into the air when the tee was played, and he rose sharply, dodging a Bludger, and began to fly in a large circle, looking around for a little golden light. On the other side of the playing field, so did Harry.
"Johnson, Johnson got the Quaffle, what a great girl, I've been talking about it for years, and she still won't date me-"
"Jordan!" Professor McGonagall shouted.
"Just kidding, Professor, add a little spice - she dodged Warrington, dodged Monty, she - ouch - she was hit by a Bludger from behind, Crabbe hit - Monty caught the Quaffle, Montey dribbled the ball back - George Weasley hit a beautiful Bludger and flew towards Monty's head, he dropped the Quaffle and was picked up by Katie Bell, Gryffindor's Katie Bell countered to Arya Spinnet, Spinnett Ma - "
Lee Jordan's commentary reverberated through the stadium as soon as he stopped to listen to the song loudly rising from the silver and green sea of Slytherin in the stands:
Weasley's little fool, he won't block a ball,
The Slytherins sang loudly, Weasley is our king.
Weasley was born in the dumpster, and he always put the ball in the goal.
Weasley will win this one, Weasley is our king.
The song was really rhyming compared to Draco's first one, and Phoenix sang along with the atmosphere.
Slytherin goalkeeper Bledge made a save and he tossed the Quaffle to Warrington, who sped with the ball past Alia and Katie. He was getting closer to Ron, and the song below was getting louder and louder—Weasley was our king. Weasley was our king, he always put the ball in the goal, Weasley was our king.
The lone figure on the other side of the pitch stood in front of the three goal rings, and the burly Warrington was speeding towards him.
"--Warrington gets the Quaffle, Warrington rushes towards the goal, the Bludger can't catch up with him, there is only the goalkeeper in front of him-"
The singing in the Slytherin stands suddenly lit up: Weasley's little fool, he won't block a ball-
"- Now it's the first test for Gryffindor's new goalkeeper Weasley, the younger brother of batsmen Fred and George, and the team's rising star - come on, Ron!"
But the cheers rang out from the Slytherin side: Ron pounced with his arms outstretched, and the Quaffle flew under his armpit and straight through the goal ring in the middle of the man.
"Slytherin scores!" Lee's voice rang out amid cheers and boos from the crowd in the stands.
"Ten to 0, Slytherin leads - Ron is out of luck - "
The Slytherins sang louder: Weasley was born in the dumpster, and he always put the ball in the goal.
Phoenix didn't relax for a moment, his eyes constantly scanning the entire court. Finally, I saw it: tiny, flickering golden snitches dangling a few feet above the pitch at the Slytherin end.
He swooped down, a silver and green light looming on the broomstick—the snitch flew around the foot of the goal ring toward the other side of the stands. Harry still doesn't know that Phoenix has spotted the Golden Snitch, and he's keeping an eye on how his friend has been scored again and again by the Slytherins. It's a pity that the Gryffindor hit the commentary found.
"Slytherin's pursuers seem to have spotted the Golden Snitch - he's speeding up—"
Harry finally came to his senses, it was too late. Phoenix let go of the broomstick with his right hand and reached for the snitch - caught it - and at the moment the wind whistled, it was all over - Phoenix's fingers grasped the tiny, struggling golden ball - Harry watched everything in despair from thirty feet away.
Phoenix flicked his broom into the air, clutching the ball in his hand, and Slytherin supporters cheered loudly. (To be continued.) )
