Chapter 8: The Mark of the Dark Magic

Phoenix slept in a soft chair, and the Death Eaters didn't move until the second half of the night. After processing some letters, he went to a small lounge on the first floor, where he fell asleep, draped in a blanket, and did not react at all to the outside world.

Suddenly, the voices in the camp changed. The singing stopped, and the sound of screams and people running in a panic filled the venue in an instant.

"Master, Death Eater—" As soon as the door opened, a blast of cold air rushed towards his face, like a spell, freezing his tongue and throat. He had never seen Phoenix like he was now, there was a cold anger in his black eyes, and a power radiated from his body, as if he was burning.

"Good, good. The sudden sound woke him up, and Phoenix looked extremely annoyed, he could have controlled himself, but anyway, he was about to fight, so he didn't have to suppress himself so much. He was indulging his feelings.

"We—" Phoenix raised his hand, and Watson couldn't get a word out of it.

"You guard the door. ”

"What—you—" exclaimed Watson, startled, the Ministry of Magic was now busy with the Irish celebrations, and it certainly wouldn't be able to make it. "Can you—"

"I said, you guard the door. Phoenix's tone was non-negotiable, and he strode out of the tent.

In the light of the fires that were still burning, Phoenix saw people running toward the woods, as if to escape something moving towards them on the camp. The thing was strangely glowing and making a sound like a gunshot. Loud laughter, wild laughter, drunken shouts also moved towards them. Then, a bright green light flashed, illuminating everything around it.

A group of wizards huddled together, each pointing their wands upwards and pushing forward together, slowly moving around the field. Phoenix squinted as he walked—they wore hoods on their heads and masks over their faces. Above them, four struggling figures floated in the air, twisted into various eerie shapes, as if the masked wizards on the ground were puppeteers, and the men above them were marionettes, controlled by invisible ropes that emerged from their wands into the air. Two of them were very small.

With a wave of his wand, the crowd in front of him was bounced away with a tremendous force. Causing even greater chaos around him, the staff of the ministry rushed to the accident site from all directions, and the situation he caused was like adding fuel to the fire, and the situation was even more out of control.

More wizards joined the group, laughing loudly and pointing to the bodies floating above. As the procession grew, the tents collapsed. On one or two occasions, Phoenix saw a marcher set the tent on the side of the road on fire with a wand. Several tents were set on fire. The screams got louder.

As the men floating in the air passed by the burning tent and were suddenly illuminated by the firelight, Phoenix felt that they might be Muggles, one of them an adult man. The other three could be his wife and children. One of the marchers below turned the woman head down with a wand. Her pajamas fell down, revealing a large pile of fancy panties, and the crowd below screamed and heckled with joy as she struggled to cover her body.

The two children, sixty feet above the ground, began to spin like spinning tops, their heads tilting limply to this side.

Phoenix stood in the way of the march.

"Get in our way, but there will be a price. One of the people in front of me said with a wicked smile.

"Little, are you lost! A man with flirtatious steps continued without fear. A ring of fire rose into the sky, and the flames were thirty feet long. Surrounded Phoenix and the Death Eaters inside, people outside don't want to come in, the risk of directly phantoming in, you can't see the situation inside at all, and you can't save others if you rush in, but put yourself in.

The Death Eaters were a little panicked for a moment. Many people were bumped into by their own people, and the verbal abuse was endless.

"It's a sad mistake to be rude to me. Phoenix doesn't mind saying that his voice is not loud, but it reaches everyone's ears.

Ice swords appear out of thin air, shooting at the crowd from all directions. Spells flew all over the sky, some shattered the ice sword, some stopped it, and some turned it into water and sprinkled it on the ground.

"You're looking for death!" one of them threw the woman in the air over. With a flick of Phoenix's wand, the woman took the form of a Peruvian fanged dragon. It doesn't really have the poison on the fangs of the fangs, but it does have the same speed as it.

The jumbled spell blew it apart and fell to the ground. The many spells shot by the others also flew towards Phoenix at this time.

The tip of his staff was pointed to the ground, and the lawn immediately came to life, rising from the ground like the waves of the sea, wave after wave swooping down on the crowd, mixed with the wind blowing away the whirlwind of fire summoned by several men, and even blown back into the Death Eaters. None of the spells could pass through the layers of waves, and the spells punched gaps of varying sizes on them, only to be blocked by the waves behind them.

They all retreated, but it was only time to delay death, and the entire wave continued to change its shape as the edge of the circle of flames continued. A few people directly phantasmaged, and they didn't want to fight anymore at all.

"Panic what! fool!" the Death Eaters did not back down in unison, and together cast a spell to freeze the waves of grass. Before they could fight back, the lawn turned into several giant snakes.

At this point, the large group of Death Eaters finally had a little cooperation, and most of them dragged the serpent so that a small group of people could free up their hands to deal with Phoenix, and they had not caused him the slightest trouble so far.

"Arvada—" A man with most of his mask burned off rushed over, before he could finish his reading. Phoenix lazily unspented his spell.

"Not even Occlumency," he smirked mockingly, "you guys are, a rabble. ”

He could see it, not to mention the sheer number of Death Eaters. But few people really helped, and if no one stopped the magic just now, I'm afraid many people would have already phantasmized. I don't run now, but I feel that I can't get over my face.

"Arvada suo!" Phoenix didn't stop him this time, but shot a death curse in response. Two green rays of light staggered, he tilted his head slightly, and the green light flew past his ears. The man was hit by the green light and flew into the air and landed on his back.

Two more people appeared.

Phoenix's wand is pointed at a Death Eater, using the Imperius Curse to restrain him. He shifted his wand and shot a green light behind his companion's back.

This is the Death Eaters? Phoenix glanced at the Death Eaters in the distance. Several of the serpents were gone, covered in bruises, one head had been cut off, and their bodies were still writhing—though many stood by and didn't make a move. The Death Eater came to his senses and watched his companion fall in front of him, unscarred, but he couldn't remember what had happened.

"Don't be stunned, do you want to run away?"

Instead of going any further, he turned around and ran back. Phoenix sighed, these spineless guys. There's no point in fighting any longer, not to mention whether you can really eat these Death Eaters, even if you can kill them all, it will be very troublesome.

Several giant snakes were killed one after another, and a large number of people rushed over in the dark.

Eden landed lightly on Phoenix's shoulder, and the crowd drew closer.

The men in the front row suddenly looked at each other in horror and stopped, but the ones behind them didn't knock them over, because they also stopped, staring at Phoenix with the same gaze. It was as if there was something behind him that would scare everyone.

He froze. What's going on?

The sound of snap, snap, snap apparition filled the night sky, and all of a sudden the entire venue was left with him and Eden.

He slowly turned around and found a huge skeleton, made up of countless turquoise star-like things, and a large python emerged from the skeleton's mouth like a tongue. Glowing brightly in a cloud of green smoke, it resembles a bizarre constellation against the dark night sky.
