Many teams will inevitably have some injuries in the second half of the season, and in the AC Milan team, Zhang Shujie's injury is just the beginning. In the following month, Romagnoli, Locatelli, Mbappe and other players were all injured, which caused great problems for AC Milan. The Rossoneri, who already had a mediocre record, suffered a further decline in their performance after losing a number of key players. They managed to climb to fifth place in the league before Christmas, and now they have dropped to seventh.

Now that two-thirds of the schedule is over, many people are no longer optimistic about AC Milan, believing that they will not even make it to the Champions League next season. Chen Hui wrote in the report: "Last season, many people thought that AC Milan's renewal was very successful, largely because many veterans in the team still played a role in covering up Milan's shortcomings. However, with the departure of a number of veterans this season, AC Milan's problems have gradually been exposed. Although there is still Zhang Shujie, the advanced age of 37 years and frequent injuries make it difficult for him to get too much playing time. So far in the game, only Mbappe has performed well in Milan's frontcourt, and Cutrone can only be said to be barely qualified. ”

In the two legs of the Champions League quarterfinals, AC Milan, which played as a semi-main player and half a substitute, lost to Real Madrid 1:2 and 0:2 respectively, and was eliminated with an aggregate score of 1:4. This is the first time in 12 years that the Rossoneri have missed out on the last four of the Champions League, and perhaps by this time, the end of a dynasty can basically be announced.

Now, AC Milan must focus on the league, and the Serie A title should not be considered, unless the top six teams collectively abandon the game, even if God comes, Milan will not be able to win the title. With seven league games remaining, the only thing for AC Milan now is to find a way to qualify for next season's Champions League.

Zhang Shujie has almost recovered from his injury and is fully ready to play in the next round of the league, and Mbappe, who has not recovered from injury, has been on the bench for 20 minutes in the last round and has been average, and Romagnoli and Locatelli will be back in about a week or two.

Inzaghi has a shortage of soldiers, although there are a lot of Milan first-team players, but there are only a few who can really be useful. In the last seven games, Inzaghi decided to let Zhang Shujie return to the starter, regardless of his age, at this critical moment, the team's forwards seem to be the most reliable Zhang Shujie, more importantly, Zhang Shujie, who has been out of action for two months due to injury, has been well rested, as long as Inzaghi does not blindly let him play the whole game, then his physical reserves will not be a problem.

Before Zhang Shujie's injury, many media speculated that Zhang Shujie, who had returned from injury, would be able to play a few games for Milan, and Inzaghi has now given the answer that Zhang Shujie will play all the remaining games of the team!

With two points separating sixth-placed Fiorentina, fourth-placed Lazio and fourth-placed Roma six points, AC Milan have a tough task in the next seven games, and the best way to do that is to win seven in a row and get 21 points, so they can certainly get into the Champions League.

However, it is very difficult to win seven in a row. Inzaghi also knows that this is a bit unlikely, but no matter what, Inzaghi has an obligation to lead the team to chase every game to win. If he can't even enter the Champions League zone, Li Yonghong will definitely not show mercy to his subordinates.

Zhang Shujie is also starting to encourage the team, and he hopes that everyone will unite and tide over the difficulties together. He also told Mbappe to let Mbappe lead Milan. Because he knows that Mbappe will be the absolute heart of this team for at least the next three years.

In the 32nd round of the league, Zhang Shujie, who started the game, gave an assist in the game to help Milan win 1:0, and in the 33rd round, Zhang Shujie and Mbappe scored one goal each and faced a 2:0 victory. In two games in a row, Milan have six points. However, in these two games, Roma and Lazio also won the game, while Fiorentina won one and drew one, and the points are the same as Milan. However, AC Milan are two goals away and remain in seventh place.

In the 34th round, AC Milan drew 0:0 with Napoli away in this round and lost the opportunity to grab points. Luckily, Roma and Fiorentina lost in this round, but Lazio beat Inter Milan at the Stadio Olimpic. There have been some changes in the standings as a result, with AC Milan moving up to sixth, Fiorentina dropping to seventh, and Lazio and Roma swapping places. Lazio moved up to fourth, while Roma dropped to fifth.

These four teams are in the dark for the Champions League places, in the championship standings, because Napoli failed to win at home to Milan in this round, and Juventus scored three points, the difference between the two teams has also been stretched to seven points, with four rounds left in the league, it can basically be confirmed that Juventus has no big problem winning the championship.

AC Milan doesn't care who wins the championship, even if the city's rival Inter Milan is on the championship, they all feel that it doesn't matter, the key is whether they can reach the Champions League zone, which is what all Milan players care about the most.

In the 35th round, AC Milan's opponent is Inter Milan, although Inter Milan has little hope of winning the championship this season, but they are in third place in the league and they can definitely participate in the Champions League next season. In the eyes of Inter players, there are three happiest things, first, that is, Inter Milan won the championship, second, Milan can't go to the Champions League, so what about third? Of course, Milan is relegated.

The first and third are unlikely to come true this season, so only the second has a little hope. Before the game, Inter Milan said that they must stop AC Milan, and Milan also gave a counterattack, and they must beat Inter Milan and break into the Champions League zone at the end of the season.

The match attracted a lot of Italian media, and the Milan derby has always been the focus of attention in Serie A, especially at this special moment, and if Milan lose, their hopes of reaching the Champions League will be almost disappointed. "Milan Sport" bluntly said: "AC Milan must not put hope on Inter Milan, which has nothing to pursue this season, they will definitely not be soft on AC Milan." ”

The course of the game also confirmed the statement of "Milan Sport", although it was an away game, Inter Milan played attacking football, and at one point overwhelmed AC Milan, including in the fourteenth and seventeenth minutes they almost scored, if it were not for Donnarumma's brilliant save and the help of the goalpost, Milan would have fallen behind.

"Inter Milan pounced very hard, AC Milan seemed a little uncomfortable. Luckily, they were lucky, otherwise Inter would have given them a blow in the opening 20 minutes!"
