This calls for a new low-cost manufacturing solution, which, if successful, will mean that within the next 40 years, the canopy will be processed at the world's top level.
It is a pity that the Republic has not even made a breakthrough in basic aviation-grade PC materials, let alone the processing and manufacturing of PC/PMMA material composite materials.
Moreover, even if there is a process that can composite the two materials, it is not enough, and the processing of this composite material into the complex curved surface of the fighter canopy requires a related material forming process, which is also a big problem.
