Chapter Ninety-Four: Stopping the Plan
Vio realizes that he may have just formed some magical contract, but who would have thought that Draco would start to play tricks too late?
As Vio stood up and was about to go out, Draco suddenly said behind her, "I asked my father about vampires, and he said that there are two types of vampires, one is the normal type, which feeds on the blood by directly biting the prey, and the other is the holy type, which does not directly attack the prey, and since they are almost extinct, they do not know the specific way to eat. Vio didn't expect Draco to tell her about the classification of vampires that would be like this, and she turned around and sat down again.
"Hallowed type? This vampire was also once converted by a nobleman among wizards?"
"No, the word has been passed down from time immemorial, and it is said that there was a dark period in history, and the whole world was ruled by this kind of vampire, so it is called the sacred type. They are supposed to be magical, while the normal type is the more common one in the eyes of Muggles, they can't do magic and can't use wands. Draco explained earnestly. "Romane and I exchanged information about the wizarding and Muggle worlds on purpose. Taken together, that's all that works. β
"However, the vampires of the Muggle world have appeared in the wizarding world Draco, do you think, should we tell Professor Snape about this, he will definitely tell Professor Dumbledore" Vio can't figure out what she has to do with the vampires of the Muggle world.
However, considering that Professor Snape was more tolerant of Draco, even if he didn't know how to go to Hogsmeade and encounter a vampire, he would not be punished too severely, but advised him to report it.
"Godfather, he has always been very protective of me because of my father. Don't wish I knew anything terrible. But, do you know the chaotic feeling of having two memories in your head at the same time? It took me two full days to determine which memory was real. Draco's voice froze inexplicably, "Or do you think the enemy is a better fit for us than an ally?"
Vio suddenly felt that he had a point. "You don't want to have your memory erased by Professor Snape again, but this is an important matter and I almost died from the attack, so instead, you and Xiao Luo can use some of the products from Hogsmeade Village to reveal that there are vampires there, so that it will always attract everyone's attention. β
"I'm really glad I finally got everything with me today. Draco's face softened slightly. Therefore, Vio directly ignored his personal attack.
A few days into his normal life, Harry brought bad news.
Riddle's diary disappeared again.
Harry couldn't even remember where he had taken the journal and lost it. Hermione and Ron were distraught.
Hermione insisted on telling Professor McGonagall what had happened, but Ron and Harry disagreed, believing that no one would believe them without evidence.
They talk when they eat, they talk when they leave, and they even hide in the last row arguing in Potions class.
Ron angrily tapped his broken wand, only to inadvertently fire a spell that set Neville's robe on fire.
He then had to follow Hagrid to the Forbidden Forest.
Vio only learned about it when they searched for the diary for several days without results.
She was about to talk to Danae about the best if she could fight the basilisk one last time instead of the original, but Danae didn't agree, and she wasn't afraid to subdue the basilisk with Harry, after all, the antidote against the basilisk snake venom that had been brewed months earlier had been successfully made.
Both of them were startled when she appeared in front of Ron and Hermione, and Ron stammered to stop her from questioning, only to be relieved to find out that she had only hoped to see Darnae instead of the journal.
As a result, Hermione was angry when she saw him, and told Vio and everything to her, "I said that it would be better for me to keep the journals and mirrors, and that it would be better for us to give them directly to Professor Dumbledore or Professor McGonagall, but now"
Ron retorted angrily.
Vio suddenly heard the news and felt his heart go into cardiac arrest for a second. But a second later, she interrupted Hermione.
"It doesn't matter. β
Ron and Hermione stopped, looking at her in surprise.
"No one is to blame for this. "Fifty years ago, Riddle used evil magic to keep a part of his soul in his diary forever, do you think it would be difficult for him to escape from us?"
"Think about his purpose again, open the secret room, release the basilisk inside, and then use the basilisk to wash the campus in blood. There are two important points here, which means that we still have opportunities. β
"That's right!" Hermione's eyes lit up. She brushed a lock of curly hair from her forehead behind her ear and wrote with a quill brush.
"Leave slip?" Ron read.
"We're about to go on an adventure. A period of absence approval is required. Hermione explained impatiently to Ron. "Vio, go on, there's clearly a guy here who needs to make up for it. β
"The two important points just now, one is that Riddle's current state must be very weak, because he doesn't dare to appear openly when he doesn't rely on the basilisk, and when he directs the basilisk, he doesn't hurt more than two people at a time, and ghosts don't count.
"The second refers to the basilisk itself. Danae already knew that Riddle had deceived him, and even though she still had a little affection for his offspring and would not help us subdue Riddle, it would not sit idly by and let the basilisk be used by Riddle to kill people if we told him what Riddle really meant. Vio took out the mirror kept in Hogwarts, a piece of school history, and looked at himself in the mirror seriously. "Is that right, Danae?"
It seemed like a long time later, long enough for Hermione to finish writing the leave note and start staring at Ron, when finally an old and unseemly voice came from the mirror: "I'd like to meet my old friend, if it's still alive." β
Hermione and Ron looked at each other excitedly and laughed.
"And when are we going?" Hermione spread out another piece of parchment, quill ready, and looked like she was going to lay out a detailed plan of what to do at each step.
Unsurprisingly, Ron was once again unaccustomed to her approach.
"Is Harry training with the Quidditch team again?" asked Vio, who was overwhelmed by the non-stop arguments between Hermione and Ron who were alone, and who desperately needed Harry to share the moment with her.
"Shall we ask him what he thinks first?" she interrupted them quietly.
Ron and Hermione got up and packed their things in agreement. (To be continued.)
