Chapter 12: Hogwarts Wizardry
Half an hour later, Harry and Ron left Snape's office, and they walked down the familiar path to the Gryffindor Tower.
The castle was quiet, and the dinner was over.
"I don't know how Evan is doing, I wish we could go to the banquet too. ”
"Professor McGonagall doesn't want us to show off. ”
Ron wisely said, "She didn't want people to think that it was a glorious thing to drive a flying car to school." ”
"yes, but at the very least, we should know which house Aven will be placed in. ”
"Needless to say, he must have been in Gryffindor, just like Ginny. ”
"Not necessarily, he's so smart that he'll probably be assigned to Ravenclaw. Harry looked a little worried, a summer of getting along with him had made him like Evan very much, and he hoped that Evan could be in the same academy with him.
"As long as it's not Slytherin, Ravenclaw is a good choice. ”
The two men walked and talked until they climbed a narrow stone staircase to the hallway of the secret entrance to the Gryffindor Tower, which was hidden behind an oil painting of a fat lady in a pink silk dress.
"Password?" asked the fat lady as they approached.
"Oh!!" Harry couldn't answer.
They hadn't run into a Gryffindor prefect yet, so they didn't know the password for the new school year, but the savior was almost imminent. They heard hurried footsteps behind them, and when they looked back, it was Hermione running towards them.
"Hermione, do you know which house Evan is sorted into?"
"Gryffindor, of course!" Hermione said impatiently, "you would have dared to bring him to school in a flying car, and you would have been expelled." ”
"Don't give us a lesson, we've been listening to these words all night. Ron said impatiently, "Tell us the password." ”
"The password is a honeyeater. Hermione continued without giving up, "But that's not the problem, don't you know"
She had waited outside so that Harry and Ron could have a good talk before they went into the common room, so that they could realize their mistake.
But as the portrait of the Fat Lady unscrewed, her words were immediately interrupted by thunderous applause, and Harry and Ron were immediately dragged inside.
The Gryffindor students hadn't slept yet, they were all crowded into the circular common room, and the arrival of Harry and Ron brought the atmosphere to its peak.
Evan was glad to see them in, he was finally out of focus, he quietly withdrew from the center of the crowd, and collapsed limply on the couch by the fireplace, making him unusually weak after a night of continuous tossing and turning, and not getting a drop of water.
"Aven!"
Evan saw Hermione sitting across from him with a serious face, and he pleaded in a pitiful tone, "Leave me alone, Hermione, if you have anything to say to me tomorrow, I'm going to starve to death now!"
Hermione pursed her lips and didn't continue, she took a large piece of chocolate from her pocket and handed it over, Evan ate some and felt better.
Gryffindor's welcome didn't last long, and soon everyone went back to their bedrooms to sleep after Percy was loudly dissuaded.
"Dude, congratulations on entering Gryffindor, it's been a great day, I know I shouldn't be complacent, but" Ron walked over to Aven and immediately couldn't go any further, he saw Hermione looking at him with an unhappy expression.
"What about Fred and George, how come I didn't see them. Harry said with some embarrassment.
"I'll ask them to go to the kitchen and get me something to eat, would you like some too?" Evan asked.
"Oh, of course," Ron rubbed his stomach and glanced at Hermione cautiously, "No, Harry and I have already eaten in Snape's office, we're going upstairs now, we're a little tired!"
"Good night, Hermione, good night, Aven!" Harry said quickly, seeing Hermione and Percy with the same tense face.
A few minutes later, the fire was burning silently, and only Ewen and Hermione were left in the common rest, and the atmosphere became a little eerie. Evan saw that the other party was sorting out his class schedule, and she circled Lockhart's class in a heart shape.
"Hermione, you know I bought some stuff in Diagon Alley, I think they're going to arrive tonight. Evan was speechless.
"yes, you promised to lend me a few of these books, do you remember?" Hermione finally looked up, her tone a little stiff.
"Of course, as long as you have something you like, you can take it and see it. ”
Evan immediately agreed, and it was clear that Hermione was still unhappy with the way they had come to school.
As soon as he finished speaking, he saw several owls from the Bretted Bookstore appear outside the Gryffindor Tower window, and Evan hurried over to open the window.
A series of exquisite magic books appeared in front of the two of them, as many as fifty.
Hermione's attention was completely turned to the books that Evan had bought, which contained many other types of books in addition to the senior textbooks.
The conversation then shifted to magical knowledge, and Evan noticed that Hermione had become as friendly as before.
While they were discussing a spell, the door to the common room opened, and Fred and George walked in with trays full of food.
"It looks like it's not the right time for us to come back, our hero Evan is dating Hermione. Fred said.
"And it looks like they've moved the school library. George said.
"You're back, I'm starving!" Evan hurriedly greeted.
"Of course, Dear Mr. Mason, it is our pleasure to serve you!" Fred dodged Evan and took out a few red candles from his arms.
"This is the food you ordered, and we won't disturb you and Miss Granger's next candlelit dinner!" George stepped forward to light the candle.
Evan and Hermione blushed as they watched as they placed their plates in front of them, like waiters in a high-end restaurant.
Glancing at the two people who were nervous, Fred and George smiled evilly and were about to turn away, but before they could take a few steps they stopped and looked out the window in surprise.
"Look, what's out there?"
Following their gaze, Evan and Hermione saw a behemoth approaching the Gryffindor Tower.
A few seconds later, by the candlelight in the break room, it became clear to Evan that it was a transport team of dozens of strong owls. The owls looked tired and kept falling, and Evan hurried to meet them.
As the owl landed, the floor shuddered heavily.
"Don't worry, it's my stuff that's arrived. Looking at the three people beside him with surprised faces, Evan hurriedly explained.
"What is it?" asked Fred and George in unison.
"Well, it's a machine dedicated to newspaper printing, which I ordered in Diagon Alley for a good buck. Evan fed a few owls something before he got up and signed a slip.
"A professional printing machine, what are you buying this for?!" Fred raised his voice.
"Don't tell us, you're going to start a newspaper. George followed.
"That's right, I'm planning to start a newspaper, just like the Daily Prophet, and I've got the name in mind, it's called Hogwarts Wizardry!"
Evan unwrapped the printing machine, revealing a silvery white set of intricately constructed magical devices in front of the four of them, similar to Muggle printing presses, but operated entirely by magic and with precise calibration.
"Think about it, all adult wizards graduate from Hogwarts, and for them, it's full of good memories, and for young wizards, Hogwarts is full of secrets, and we can start a newspaper to recall, explore, and decipher her mysteries. "Believe me, we're going to make it, even more so than the Daily Prophet, the most widely circulated newspaper in the wizarding world." ”
