Chapter 24: Deception
Patrick leaned against the door of the SDF gunship, looking out at the night view of Sevitan.
It's only two o'clock in the morning, and there aren't many bright spots in the territory, so he needs to turn on his night vision to see under the helicopter.
"I saw a lot of air defense base stations. Patrick said.
"Don't worry, in the middle of the night, the body was left in the deep mountains and old forests, and we won't find it. Madness said.
Maybe he was overly sensitive, but he was defeated once, and it was inevitable that he would be cautious.
"Did you find it?" asked Patrick again, his cold tone slightly agitated, "Is it a little too slow?" ”
"I can't help it, I can only infer from the content of their communications. Madness sighed and said helplessly, "Huh? ”
In the lower right corner of Patrick's heads-up monitor, there is a small rectangular image of a small residential area, dominated by three-story earthen houses, with five to seven stories in between, including the hospital, which are slightly more advanced. The image is further zoomed in, showing only one house, again three floors, but a little flatter.
"Across two urban areas, this guy can really run, obviously just driving. ”
And it's easy to hide, hiding in the center of the most densely populated residential area. Patrick added silently in his heart.
"After all, the target of the 'terrorist attack' is him, and it is understandable for safety. "Do you see that mansion?"
"Well, see clearly," Patrick said blandly, "a place of bureaucratic pleasure and a symbol of status." ”
"That's right. As soon as we get there, it's lively. It's full of self-defense forces in the neighborhood. ”
Judging from the images from the madness, it is true that many Servitian self-defense forces can be seen in and out of the villa. There is no doubt that the garrison can achieve a normal level of oil and salt inaccessibility, but it also reveals who is hiding inside.
"Sneak in, master?" asked G41.
Patrick's grip on the doorknob.
"No, we don't have that much time, and Jefuti is in danger of being spotted at any moment. I'm providing sniper fire support at the high points on the perimeter, and G41 you go in and capture Owen, and then find a way to get out quickly. ”
"No, I'm mostly the one who thinks about this situation......" said Mad Madness.
Patrick didn't pay any attention. He opened the door and jumped down.
"The landing was successful. Patrick's markings are displayed on the G41's heads-up display, and he lands on the roof of the hospital building diagonally across from the villa, placing his sniper rifle under the hospital's archway.
"It's your turn, G41. Madness said.
The gunship hovered over the target location, the fuselage rolled slightly, and the G41 jumped from the helicopter, his knees bent, in a near-horse-walking posture in mid-air. Flames erupted from the exoskeleton vents on the outside of the calf and waist, sharply slowing down the G41's landing.
A change in the airflow was felt on his cheeks, and G41 was still in mid-air, when he saw the two guards standing on the balcony in front of him suddenly break in two.
She managed to land in the compound of the mansion, her red right eye catching the slightest movement in the interior of the mansion, and the guards were preparing to deal with her.
But it's basically useless work. After five seconds, images of all the guards quickly appeared in the heads-up display. Madness has invaded the mansion's surveillance cameras, cross-collapsing all the footage into her field of vision.
Among them, she found Owen curled up under the bed in his bedroom on the third floor.
"The target person has been found and is on his way to arrest him. G41 said.
She followed the route designed by the madness, and first quickly rushed to the floor-to-ceiling windows on the first floor. The guard, who heard the footsteps, leaned out from the top of the stairs and shot at her. G41 immediately rolled forward, dodging bullets as it slid through shattered glass and leaned against the right side of the staircase.
In the hospital behind G41, Patrick adjusts the crosshair of his sniper rifle and pulls the trigger. The beams of the floor-to-ceiling windows made a very loud dull sound, and the large-caliber bullets hit the metal beams, and the rebound changed direction and hit the guards on the stairs.
The guard who had been killed by Patrick rolled down, and G41 stepped over his body to the second floor.
Fearful of powerful sniper fire, the guards on the second floor laid smoke grenades as cover, the white smoke completely obscured Patrick's vision, and the surveillance cameras that had hacked in frantically were useless.
Even in this case, the G41 is not helpless. A pair of big ears on the top of the head are not decorations, and the discolored right eye is not just for the sake of beauty. Her senses were already very sharp, even more so after being modified.
Her eyes could catch the subtle flow of white smoke, and her ears could hear the footsteps of enemies, which gave them a rough guess of their location. She then raised her rifle to empty a full magazine of bullets, strafing the predetermined area, and then ducked behind cover to change her ammunition.
After repeating it several times, the movement in the smoke was much smaller, and the smoke gradually dissipated.
"Oh—you've got all four?" said the madman.
Without replying, the G41 made a rough confirmation of the enemy's deaths, checked the numbers correctly, and quickly went upstairs.
She kicked open the door to Owen's bedroom, and found him under the bed, so that he was nothing more than a fat man curled up and shivering.
"I've got Owen, master. G41 pulled out Owen, who was almost twice his size.
"Get out of it quickly, enemy reinforcements are coming. Patrick said, "I'll help you out for a while, and you get out of here." ”
"How do we meet?"
"Just run, I have a collapsed teleporter on me. ”
"Well, I see. ”
G41 escorted Owen back to the courtyard, and as soon as he came out of the floor-to-ceiling window, the roller shutter door of the garage next to him opened on its own. A sports car drove out of it, its lights flashed twice, and the door lock opened.
"Come up," laughed maniacally, "they won't catch up." ”
G41 was in the driver's seat, and Owen was strapped to the passenger seat, the muzzle of the automatic rifle pressed against the fat of his chin, preventing him from moving.
Loud gunfire could already be heard outside the walls, and a military SUV suddenly stopped at the door, blocking their way. The machine gunners turned their guns around and shouted for them to be restrained.
"Get out of the way!"
Roaring wildly, the gunship swooped down with a long tail flame, directly knocking the SUV in the way. Immediately afterwards, the sports car that had been warmed up for a long time suddenly rushed out, and the pointers on the dashboard all hit the far right.
By the time the G41 came to their senses, they had already thrown off the scene of the incident a few hundred meters away, and when they turned back, they could still see the raging fire caused by the explosives.
Twenty minutes later, the sports car stopped next to a potato patch. G41 hijacked Owen and got out of the car, putting his face against the front of the car. Soon, there was a little violet light in the middle of the dark road, and then it gradually expanded into an oval mirror.
Patrick walked out of it with a grim expression on his face and his pistol in his hand.
"Who are you, terrorists?" Owen asked loudly as a man appeared out of thin air, writhing in a panic.
Without saying a word, Patrick grabbed him by the collar and lifted him up.
"Are you pretending to be stupid? Obviously trying to put our queen under house arrest, it is impossible not to know that the queen is special. No one is going to have nothing to do with holding the king of a country hostage, right?"
"I—I don't understand what you're talking about, what the hell are you trying to do?"
Patrick put him down.
"I guess so, I don't believe Owen was such a hasty solution. He said, "Tell me, how does he contact you in general?"
"I don't know ......"
"Oh, yes? You'd love to be fertilizer for crops. ”
Patrick pressed his pistol against his temple.
"Stop! I say, I say!" Owen's fake form compromised, "I email it to my mailbox, I always receive ......it on my phone"
"Give me the phone. Patrick ordered.
