Chapter.74 Patrick: Fragmented
"There is no reason. Pen @ fun @ pavilion wWw. ο½ο½ο½Uο½Eγ infoWhen you're on the battlefield, you can't care about anything but survival. You need to survive at the guns of the enemy, at the orders of your superiors, in the piles of corpses of your compatriots. When you survive, you look up, ask how things came to be, and then plunge into a new war for survival. βPatrick Flo
Ao Island, United States
The Survivor Alliance's 2nd Special Independent Action Squad
Sergeant Patrick Flo
When G41 threw himself in his arms and cried, Patrick knew what was going on.
"I'm sorry......" he said, gently hugging G41.
"No, it's not the master's fault," G41 wiped tears from his eyes, "it's just that G41 is too happy." β
Patrick's gaze fell on the dent in the G41's shoulder. That's the scar he inflicted, because of his fault......
"I didn't mean to disturb you two," the soldier behind G41 interrupted his reproach, "I'm sure we'll have plenty of time to enjoy the reunion when we get out of here." β
Patrick picked up the ACR assault rifle on the ground and stood up. Soldiers in anti-gas iron helmets saluted him as a sign of welcome.
"Where's Evillather, private?" Patrick led the way with his gun in hand.
"The Doctor?" followed the soldier, "I left him aside when I chased you, and now I might have run away." β
"Evilasser is one of the central figures of the Revolutionary Union, HVT, and if he sees him, shoot him on the spot. β
"Yes, sir. β
Passing through the two gates in the ruins, the ruins visibly trembled, and the lights flickered for a while, and lime fell from the rock face.
Patrick frowned, recalibrated the AED system, and turned on the communicator. The system indicates that he has been connected to the communication channel of Thorn 02, and soon he hears the sound of gunfire.
"What's going on out there? madness. He asked.
"I'm glad to hear your damn inquiry again," said Mad unceremoniously and jokingly, "the Revolutionary Coalition sent a dozen airborne troops and an air column against usβoh, goddamn!"
"Did you see Avillasser?"
"No, there's a squad rushing into the ruins," Patrick could hear the madness tapping desperately on the keyboard, "get out of that damn place, we don't have a force field shield to survive the next round of bombardment." β
"I try. β
Patrick starts scanning, and images of the four enemies appear in view. They descended the stairs in a column, led by infantry holding a solid riot shield, followed by scouts with M870 shotguns, and two assault infantrymen armed with MK16 assault rifles.
Patrick rushed to the top of the stairs and motioned for G41 and the newcomer to stop. A second before the shield-wielding infantry rushed out, he suddenly turned and entered the corridor, his mechanical arm clenching his fist and smashing into the riot shield.
Riot shields can block bullets, but they can't stop a one-ton hammer. The entire shield was completely deformed, and the shield-wielding infantry fell backwards with the force of the impact, knocking out the scouts behind him. G41 then flashed out and raised his gun, killing the two assault infantrymen in the back.
The scout pushed away his companion's corpse, lifted the muzzle of the shotgun and pulled the trigger, but fortunately Patrick opened the force field shield in time, and countless projectiles hit the orange spherical energy shield, losing momentum.
After rewarding the scout with a bullet, the trio quickly made their way up the stairs and left the ruins. Outside the ruins, the camp was surrounded by Allied supports, with marines stationed in the northeast and northwest of the camp, using RPGs and anti-tank guns to bombard the Cyclops, who kept moving to avoid and return fire with heavy machine guns. The enemy also has a unit stationed on the bridge, which also uses RPGs, attacking their transport aircraft.
"We're out, crazy. β
"- okay, I see. β
"Can you break through the blockade?" Patrick leaned behind the sandbag and watched.
"Not a problem," replied the madman, "just waiting for you to come up." β
"I'm not going up, mad," Patrick said coldly, "I'm going to kill Avylasser, this is a rare opportunity, he must still be here." β
"Is there something wrong with your brain circuit?" scolded, "If you are dying and still thinking about your goal, it will be too late if you don't retreat!"
"Don't talk nonsense, just find me. β
"Who's crazier nowβoh, I'll do it!" yelled madly, tapping on the keyboard, "Jane, find that damn doctor." β
"Wait a minute!" shouted Jane, pulling the bolt with her right hand and pulling a cartridge case out of the chamber of the M95, "RPGs limit the movement of the transport plane, it's hard to find out!"
"That's going to knock them out!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the cyclops fired at full speed, and the machine gun poured bullets, rushing towards the Haiwang Bridge. Those who were hit by the machine guns were almost broken in two by the powerful impact, and the infantrymen who were not shot were run over by the Cyclops.
The cyclops stopped at the bridgehead and turned back to machine gun the Confederacy heavy forces in the camp to attract their attention. Patrick and the others were not yet discovered, standing still, waiting for a report from the team members.
"The target," Jane said, "has been spotted in an amphibious combat boat and is fleeing from the sea." β
"Can you target him?"
"No," Jane replied, "the target ship went under the bridge, and I couldn't take aim at it. β
"Roger, I'll dispose of them. β
"It just so happens that two groups of the enemy have come from the sea to support," Jane continued, "and you can grab their ship and go after Avillaser." They didn't go far in circles under the bridge. β
"Thanks, Jane. β
"Oh, yes. Welcome back, Parker ~ Jane Stewart, over. β
The other party cut off the communication, and Patrick immediately took action. The puppets of the Revolutionary Union had not yet discovered them, and they quietly bypassed the enemy northeast of the camp and headed towards the shore.
They came to a cliff with enemy reinforcements beneath it. Patrick motioned for his teammates to lie down and watch the enemy from above.
A small group disembarked and left the ship, heading towards the camp in a rather low-key manner. The other team is still guarding the amphibious combat boat, and it will not leave for a while.
Patrick waited for the team to go to camp and get ready for action. Next to the cliff is a slope from which you can reach it directly by sliding down.
"Newcomer, how is your grenade technique?"
"Counts as a pass. β
"So," Patrick said, tossing a grenade at the Iron Mask, "over to you." β
Without saying a word, the newcomer skillfully loaded the grenade into the launcher. Seeing that he was ready, Patrick and the G41 slid down the slope, and by the time they landed, the grenade had exploded, and the infantry guarding the combat boat were either killed or wounded.
After recharging the dying enemy with a shot, Patrick and the others boarded the combat boat. This hovercraft maintains a decent speed on smooth surfaces and on water, making it a great choice as a transport and combat vehicle.
"Madness, we're on board. β
"Roger, let's burn this hell place. β
The four missiles flew into the air with white sparks, then exploded in mid-air and landed on the camp as a meteor shower, setting the entire camp on fire in an instant.
White phosphorus bombs. There is no doubt that the enemies who remain in the camp will eventually be burned to ashes.
Patrick started the engine of the amphibious combat boat, kicked up a mist behind him, and sailed towards the Haiwang Bridge.
