His heart was beating so fast that he could hear it clearly every beat, and his muscles would tremble with fear and nervousness, and he could only hold his breath for a while. Pen @ fun @ pavilion wWw. ļ½ļ½ļ½Uļ½Eć ļ½ļ½ļ½ļ½
While Patrick and Mad were busy, Kira noticed that the sky above Chinatown was not the same as usual, and the frequent flying helicopters were making excessive agitation, as if they were deliberately attracting attention.
So, he went to the top of the building, and the light of the flashlight was quickly spotted by the people on the helicopter on the pitch-black roof, and in response, the helicopter flashed white three times.
Is it the sheriff?,Kira thought. The result is also clearly positive.
The helicopter flew low, dropping a stack of newspapers to inform Kira that they were about to attack and needed him as an internal response. Kira then made up a random excuse to take the humanoids' guns according to her plan, and then ambushed in the room opposite Patrick until the police began to act.
Is this the end?" Kira kept questioning in her mind, but if she couldn't say anything, she was only questioning herself.
When Patrick pronounced his name, there was a hint of confusion, but more of a calm.
"Drop your arms, Patrick......" Kira said.
The other man did not answer, nor did he hesitate for a few seconds, and put down the gun.
Kuro held up a communicator and waved it at them.
"Only a few of us know what to say here, Hades. ā
"Let go of the tactical humanoids and civilians first, and then I'll negotiate with you. ā
"Do you still have to bargain at this point?"
"You think I'm bargaining?" Kira listened to Patrick's cold reply, "I'm telling you that I'm more than capable of rescuing them, but only if the threat is cleared." ā
Kira's wrist shook.
"Well, that doesn't sound like a joke. There was silence for a long time before the sheriff made a statement.
"Listen up to the staff on the first floor," it was the assistant in sunglasses who spoke over a loudspeaker, "and you must leave this building within a minute, or else you will be dealt with the same as the main prisoner." ā
95, take them and leave first. ā
"Sir?"
"Command. ā
ā...... Be. ā
There was a stalemate for dozens of seconds, and there was no sound in the communicator for dozens of seconds.
"I've let them go, is that okay, Hades?"
"Well, let me hear what you have to say. ā
"There's nothing to say, I just want you to give up what you're doing now. I'm here as a friend, Hades, and I hope you understand. ā
"Friend?" Patrick questioned, "So, I would like to ask you, how much do you believe what we say?"
"All," Kuro replied immediately, "I understand everything you said, and I believe it all." ā
"Since you believe it all, why don't you listen to me, obstruct it again and again, and even sacrifice a lot of lives...... Why did you get to this point?"
"Because I want to tell you, Hades, that you are not going to succeed, and I want you to give up. ā
Patrick was silent. Was it a success? Or is it ...... Fail?
"Unfortunately, I'm not going to give up," Patrick said, "we've waited ten years, and the reason I'm still alive and fighting so far is not something you can deny in a word or two." ā
"Don't you understand?" Kulo was slightly agitated, as if he wanted to save it, "It's definitely come to this point!"
"That doesn't stop me, sheriff. Patrick replied coldly.
The abrupt sound of the voice, the communication was cut off.
Before Kira could react, Patrick jerked down, took a step back, and slammed his elbow against his chest. The impact almost squeezed the air out of her lungs, and Kira was distracted from the stress response. Before he could cough, however, his arm was clamped by a hard hand, and an over-the-shoulder fall threw him to the ground.
He suspected that his spine was about to break.
"No fire!" shouted Kuro with his hand raised.
Patrick had no intention of stopping, and before Kira could recover his composures, he was pulled up by the force of the incomparably great, his neck caught in the mechanical arm, and his pistol was pointed at his head at the moment.
He prayed that he would be shot to death instead of being crushed alive by a robotic arm.
"Madness, what's going on over there. Kira heard the man behind her.
"The guns are all back, the vehicles are ready, just waiting for you to come. ā
"Roger. With that, Patrick dragged him back slowly.
Suddenly, an orange light condensed in front of her eyes, and Kira came back to her senses to find herself in an orange cover, and a bullet happened to be intercepted, hovering in mid-air.
Then he heard the deafening sound of gunfire.
After exiting the room, Patrick pushed him aside and fired several shots himself out the door. The police returned fire, and the bullet struck through the thin plank, sending sawdust flying everywhere.
Patrick turned around and shoved him towards the larger lobby on this floor, reaching out his pistol from behind him and shooting the window with all his bullets.
"Jump out of there. Patrick said, pushing Kira out, turning and holding up the assault rifle of the incoming agents with his left hand.
Bullets poured out and hit the ceiling. Patrick lifted his foot and kicked the officer downstairs.
100,000 urgent, no matter what Patrick wants, Kira can only do it. He mustered up the courage to run, covered his head with his arms, and jumped from the second floor by breaking the glass window.
The weightlessness of just two seconds gave Kira the illusion that his life was over. However, instead of the hard landing he imagined, he was caught in a warm embrace.
The tactical humanoids are all ready in the vans they've been frantically found, fully armed and ready to fight.
"I've got him!" shouted Somi.
A few more gunshots rang out from the room on the second floor, and a figure finally flew out of the window and landed safely on the van.
"Drive, madness. Patrick ordered.
Starting in the gunfire-covered back street, the truck crashed into the debris and drove off on the main road.
Patrick retrieved his equipment from the Dragonfly drone and relaxed a little when he saw that the police helicopter was not chasing him.
He glanced at Kira, casually turned his CZ75 automatic pistol upside down and handed it to him.
"Take it," said Patrick, "if you don't have the consciousness to pull the trigger, you'd better not pull it out, or you'll not pose a threat if you point it at someone else." ā
"I'm sorry. ā
"No need to apologize, you didn't do anything wrong. Patrick said lightly, "The sheriff is not an enemy, so you are not a traitor either." ā
"Did you know all along?"
"I don't know, and I didn't doubt you. It's just that I've figured out what the sheriff meant, and it's not surprising that the decision you made in this situation is normal. ā
Kira's heart that had been lifting it suddenly relaxed, and he was finally relieved. Patrick forgave himself.
"You can tell the sheriff that if she tries to stop me, show me more strong evidence that I should give up, or I won't give up. ā
Kira sighed. This man is the type who doesn't shed tears when he doesn't see the coffin.
But he doesn't have to take it to heart, even if he doesn't say it, the sheriff will definitely come.
Because the two of them are the same type.
