Chapter 16: Yongzhou Youjiang Snow
Thousands of mountains and birds fly away, and thousands of people disappear. Pen & Fun & Pavilion www.biquge.info Lonely Boat Lady, Fishing Alone in the Cold River and Snow. This is a Yongxue poem, which is a love poem sent by Liu Zongyuan. In the deep winter snow, I couldn't see a single bird in the mountains, and I didn't see a single pedestrian in the thousands of roads. In a lonely boat, a fisherman in a cloak and hat braved the snow to fish on the cold river. Between the lines, the harshness of the author's situation, the loneliness and loneliness of the mood are profoundly revealed.
Liu Zongyuan, one of the eight great families of the Tang and Song dynasties, was born in an official family, and became famous and ambitious at a young age. However, in his early years, he was admitted to the Jinshi, and his writing was based on gorgeous rhetoric. Zhenyuan nine years in the jinshi, fourteen years of erudition and Hong words, awarded the collection of Xiandian orthography. He was once a captain of Lantian and later an official in the court, but he actively participated in the political innovation of Wang Shuwen's group and moved to a member of the Ministry of Rites. In September after Emperor Xianzong came to power, the reform failed, and the history of Shaozhou was degraded, and Sima Yongzhou (now Lingling, Hunan) was degraded in November. Later, Liu Zongyuan went to Yongzhou with his sixty-seven-year-old mother, cousin Liu Zongzhi, and cousin Lu Zun. After they arrived in Yongzhou, they didn't even have a place to live, and later, with the help of a monk, they stayed at Longxing Temple. Due to the hard life, within half a year of arriving in Yongzhou, his old mother Lu passed away. The death of his mother Liu Zongyuan was full of grief and indignation, and the cruelty, politics, governance, persecution, and harsh living environment made Liu Zongyuan depressed and painful, coupled with several ruthless fires, which seriously damaged his health, to the extent that "his knees trembled when he walked, and his hips were paralyzed when he sits". The persecution and tribulations he endured during his derogatory career did not shake Yanagi's political ideals. In his letter, he made it clear: "Though it is rejected, it is not more in it." "And the depreciation of Yongzhou is ten years.
The last poem Jiang Xue also expressed Liu Zongyuan's lonely mood. In the first two sentences, thousands of mountains and birds flew away, and thousands of people disappeared. This is a depiction of a snowy scene, but I think a thousand mountains and thousands of paths are definitely an exaggeration. In the Thousand Mountains, no matter how cold the weather is and how heavy the snow is, it is impossible for a bird not to be seen. And Wanjing is not inhabited, although I don't know how far Wanjing is, I only know that the climate is harsh and your health is so poor, and how far can a literati go, the last two sentences are lonely boats, fishing alone in the cold river and snow. I don't think there are boats in the river, and there is no old man fishing, but your depressed mood is like you like an old man, tenacious and unyielding, awe-inspiring. It is more likely that these are the Jiang Xue you imagined. Jiang Xue may be beautiful, but I think you are really sad to death.
