In the head coach's office, Gao Han and the members of the core coaching staff sat around the coffee table, skillfully brewing fragrant tea brought from China.

The TV on the wall is broadcasting a live broadcast of the football channel, and the camera is far away in the lobby of the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, where all the representatives of the teams that have reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League are gathered for the next stage of the draw.

Unlike the previous avoidance of teams from the same country, there are no rules for this draw.

That is, any one team could run into seven other teams.

Among the eight teams that have reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League, there are three Premier League teams, two La Liga, one each in the Bundesliga, Serie A and the Portuguese Super League.

Judging from this list of the top eight, the strength of the Premier League teams can be seen.

Therefore, after the list of the top eight was released, the topic of encirclement and suppression of the Premier League once again came out in Europe.

Gao Han has no interest in this kind of thing, he is more of a rare respite, adjust the team, recuperate, and win Bochum 3-0 away with a semi-main lineup, and go one step further in the Bundesliga.

Twenty-four rounds of the Bundesliga have been played so far, and no one can doubt that Bayern Munich will successfully defend their title.

Now it is still in the Champions League, and many Bayern Munich fans are expecting the team to complete a treble, after all, this season's German Cup draw is also lucky.

And just tonight, Bayern Munich will usher in the 25th round of the Bundesliga, the home game against Karlsruhe, so Gao Han and the coaching staff can easily sit here and watch the news live.

"You see, David Gill looks a little nervous. Sergio Garcia smiled as he pointed to the TV.

In the camera, the draw ceremony has not yet begun, the delegates are familiar with each other, and they talk happily with each other, but Gao Han is not clear from which angle Sergio Garcia can see that David Gill is nervous.

Thomas Tuchel laughed: "The other day, Ferguson was nervously interviewed and said that the last thing Manchester United want to meet is a team from the same country, so David Gill should be praying to God now. ”

Everyone was amused when they heard it.

Ferguson said this after Manchester United's 4-1 home defeat to Liverpool in the 29th round of the Premier League, which was somewhat half-joking at the time, but it is true that the dialogue between Manchester United this season has not been particularly ideal.

Ferguson has played five games against the other top four so far, drawing away at Chelsea and winning 3-0, but losing 2-1 away at Arsenal and 1-2 away at Liverpool and 4-1 at home.

Interestingly, however, in the other top three, Manchester United's more likely side Chelsea were eliminated by Bayern Munich, while Arsenal and Liverpool are both bitter for the Red Devils this season, and Ferguson certainly does not want to meet a team from his country.

"But let's be honest, it's possible to fight in the Premier League. Buenaventura said.

Everyone also thinks so, this has nothing to do with conspiracy theories, the main thing is that there are three Premier League teams in the quarterfinals, which is very probable.

Gao Han didn't mind who was drawn, but said with a smile: "I guess, now the vast majority of people are looking forward to winning Porto in their hearts, and Porto is secretly calling unlucky, because no matter who they meet, I'm afraid it will be difficult for them to get out." ”

With Porto's strength, if it weren't for the lucky draw of Panathinaikos in the round of 16, they would not have reached the quarterfinals at all, and the Portuguese Super League team should be very satisfied with the team's current results.

While Gao Han and his assistants were chatting without saying a word, the lottery ceremony on live TV also began.

The ceremony was still presided over by Secretary-General Gianni Infantino, and the draw was still the guest of honour at the final venue, Bruno Conte, who decided the next fixtures of the Champions League.

Although Gao Han didn't particularly care, when it came to the time of the draw, he was still a little nervous.

The first team to be drawn by Bruno Conte was Atletico Madrid, who were drawn in the top half, followed by Gunners Arsenal from the Premier League.

"The matchup between these two teams is interesting. Gao Han nodded and smiled.

Both teams are younger, and both are technical, and the style of play is not conservative, so the game will definitely be good.

What's more, Heynckes and Arsene Wenger are both famous tacticians in Europe, and they will be wonderful.

The first team to be drawn in the second game was Alex Ferguson's Red Devils Manchester United.

'I hope it's Liverpool, or it's Barcelona. Gao Han laughed mischievously.

These two teams are the bitter masters of Manchester United, and no matter who is drawn, it is enough for Ferguson to drink a pot.

As a result, unexpectedly, Bruno Conte pulled out the ball, handed it to Infantino, and unscrewed it.

"Liverpool!"

Gao Han and the others all sighed, and then they all laughed again.

Ferguson's luck should have been to buy a lottery ticket.

"I should send him a text message to congratulate him. Gao Han laughed.

As he spoke, he really took out his mobile phone and sent a text message to Ferguson, just a few words, "Congratulations, you got what you wanted." ”

Soon, Ferguson sent him a text message back.

"Good luck with Barcelona too. ”

Gao Han shook his head and laughed when he saw the text message, Ferguson should be scolding UEFA conspiracy theories now.

However, the fact that all three Premier League teams are clustered in the top half is indeed unexpected, a bit like the suspicion that the top three are encircling Atletico Madrid.

Among the remaining four teams, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Inter Milan and Porto, the most difficult to play are undoubtedly Barcelona and Inter Milan, if you are lucky enough to draw Porto, then you should really buy a lottery ticket.

The draw for the bottom half of the division began soon.

The first team to be drawn in the third game was Bayern Munich.

"Who could it be?" said Sergio Garcia, looking a little nervous.

Gao Han smiled calmly on the surface, but in fact, he also had a little expectation in his heart, if he drew Porto, then Bayern Munich would have much less pressure and could concentrate on the next semi-finals.

In the live TV footage, Bruno Conte once again reached into the ball tank, took out a small ball, showed it to all the guests present and the live TV camera, and then handed it over to Infantino.

Infantino twisted his hands, opened the ball, took out a note from it, looked at it, and flipped it over with a smile.

"Porto!"

Wow!!

There was a cheer in the coach's office.

Even though Sergio Garcia and others have already experienced a lot of battles, they are still very happy about this draw.

Entering the quarterfinals, basically there will be no weak team, the only weaker team was actually met by Bayern Munich, what kind of luck does it take?

The remaining matchup will not require a draw, and Barcelona will meet Inter Milan.

As soon as the results of the draw came out, Gao Han soon received a text message.

In a text message, Ferguson asked: "How much money did you stuff UEFA on?"

Gao Han laughed when he saw it, and he could fully imagine the depression and resentment in Ferguson's heart at this moment.

How unfair this is.

Porto and Liverpool, it's a world of difference.

Bayern Munich drew this lottery, can it be said that it is guaranteed to the top four?

"I want to stuff some money, how can we draw Porto? I obviously want to touch Liverpool more, how can I be so unlucky?

After sending the text message, he burst out laughing to himself.

Ferguson really didn't reply for a long time, he should have been mad by Gao Han's words.

Finally, the Scotsman finally replied, "Be careful with me." ”

"Okay, I'll be waiting for you in the final. Gao Han replied with a smile.

…………

…………

As soon as the results of the draw for the quarterfinals of the Champions League were released, the media around the world were fried.

If the media and fans have long been mentally prepared for the fight in the Premier League, then Bayern Munich was lucky enough to draw Porto, which undoubtedly broke everyone's eyes.

There are even some tabloid media that have said that this is UEFA secretly helping Gao Han to reach the top again.

The three major European bookmakers also changed Bayern Munich's odds to win the championship immediately after the results were released.

You know, Bayern Munich has been the top favorite to win the Champions League this season since the beginning of the season, and now it is rumored to be guaranteed to the semi-finals, which undoubtedly makes the Bundesliga giants' odds to win the championship further ahead.

However, many media believe that Bayern Munich's draw against Porto does not mean that the draw is boring.

"From the Champions League group stage to the knockout stage of the round of 16, Bayern Munich's luck has not been ideal, their group stage is the strongest group in the Champions League group stage, and Chelsea is also the best group second team in the round of 16, it can be said that before that, Bayern Munich's luck was not ideal. ”

The German newspaper Bild believes that Bayern Munich drew Porto, which can only be said to be more lucky.

Pep Guardiola's Barcelona drew Prandelli's Inter Milan, which is undoubtedly a very interesting game, both of their teams have a strong cold imprint, Guardiola is a disciple of the cold, and many Barcelona players are cultivated and favored by the cold.

As for Prandelli's relationship with Inter Milan and Gao Han, that's not to mention.

The matchup between these two teams is undoubtedly quite interesting.

And the most unlucky is Alex Ferguson's Manchester United, which actually drew the bitter host Liverpool.

The Reds have suffered two defeats to Liverpool this season, especially this past time, when the Red Devils lost 4-1 to Rafael Benitez's Liverpool at Old Trafford, which undoubtedly added to everyone's pessimism about the Reds.

Speaking to the media, Ferguson said: "It was a very bad draw, both in terms of timing and opponents. ”

But Ferguson also said in the end that although the team is down, as long as everyone works together, Manchester United may not have the strength to compete with Liverpool, and may even reverse the decline of two consecutive defeats this season.

Ferguson's Manchester United have always been known for their resilience over the years, and the Red Devils' magic has also made this team not to be underestimated at any given time.

As for Gao Han, although he won the lottery for Porto, in an interview with Bild, Gao Han still solemnly said that this is not good luck as the outside world says, Porto is a team with superior strength.

"They were the team that beat Arsenal in the group stage and won the group, I can't believe why anyone thinks that drawing Porto is equivalent to securing the semi-finals?"

'I have to remind everyone that Porto are a very tenacious and quality opponent and if we don't give it our all and concentrate on the game then we will probably stop in the quarter-finals and not get through. ”

Before the game, he was low-key and did not underestimate the enemy, which is also in line with Gao Han's consistent style.

What's more, he sensed a hint of something bad.
