Chapter Twenty-One: Platform Nine and Three-Quarters

After returning the rental car, Alan and his party arrived at the magic lamppost, Harry was riding on the magic lamppost for the first time, and he watched Mr. Harris's every movement with interest. Like Alan, he found it amazing.

Although it is not the first time that Alan has ridden, he also has his own feelings. Although the scientific and technological development of the Muggle world is almost ever-changing, the wizarding world far surpasses the Muggle in the study of time and space. If the teleportation technology of this magic lamppost could be popularized in the Muggle world, the house price in the previous life would not be so ridiculously high.

Soon, a small villa with red bricks and white windows came into Harry's eyes. The courtyard was lined with trees, and several huge horizontal trees were sawn into several sections and scattered throughout the garden, presumably with the magic of preventing moisture and insects, and were used as chairs by the Allen family. There is also a simple swing fixed between two large trees, and the swing shelf is also entwined with green vines and beautiful flowers. The whole yard was quaint and vibrant, and Harry fell in love with it at first sight, with a sense of freedom and uninhibitedness.

Mrs. Harris took a leave of absence today to welcome Harry's arrival. The youngest daughter, Emily, hid behind her mother and poked her head out. Upon seeing Harry's figure, Mrs. Harris gave Harry a big hug.

"Harry, welcome!" the second brother, Lunn, held out his hand solemnly beside him.

The warm welcome was not over, the eldest sister Daisy brought out the steaming black tea, and Mrs. Harris commanded the red sausages to fly to the corresponding plate.

After dinner, Harry followed Alan to the bedroom, and the first thing that caught his eye was a bunk bunk bed, which was obviously made of two beds, the upper bed was made of some smooth wooden planks, and the rings of trees, Harry counted in his mind, the trees were older than his age!

Directly facing the window was a large desk with books, ink, and a stack of parchment on it. In addition to this, there are some pens that Harry can't read, with an extra-long barrel on top and a small brush on the bottom, forming a full bud shape.

"That's a brush, from the old East. I found it at the market. Seeing Harry's gaze, Alan explained.

"How is it going to be used? such a long barrel, like a magic wand!" Harry wondered.

Talking about the civilization of Allen's previous life, Allen was interested, "Why don't I write a few words to you?"

As he spoke, Alan took out a large, thin piece of rice paper from the compartment below his desk. Skillfully poured ink into the inkstone, dipped the pen in the ink, and then the ink was fragrant, the pen walked away dragon snake, and fourteen words that Harry couldn't understand bloomed on the paper, which was "There will be a time to ride the wind and waves, and hang straight to the clouds and sails to the sea". Harry couldn't tell what they meant, but Harry could see their beauty, a sense of grandeur. Harry could also see that Alan was content and satisfied, a feeling of doing what he loved most.

"What do these words mean?"

This is a poem, the poem is the connotation of the book, and the book is the image of the poem. The combination of poetry and books, the expression is expressive, and it is very beautiful.

Harry seemed to understand, and he didn't. But that didn't stop him from appreciating the beauty of the characters. He asked Allen, "Can you give me this picture?"

"Absolutely. Allen took out a piece of stone seal carved with a seal, dipped it in ink clay, and printed it on the paper seriously.

"It's not quite done yet, I'll give it to you when I'm ready!" Alan carefully laid the paper flat on the table, waiting for the ink to dry.

Next, Alan helps Harry get things organized. Before going to bed at night, Harry was satisfied, "What a warm and friendly family!"

The days that followed were uneventful, but each day was a lot of fun for Harry. He likes to get up early and follow Alan to do those movements that he can't understand, and the irregular posture often makes Alan laugh. He loves to watch all kinds of magic kitchenware fly around and cook delicious dishes. He likes the gentle Mr. Harris, the meticulous Mrs. Harris, the beauty-loving eldest sister Daisy, the serious Lun, the naughty and lovely Emily who always pesters him to tell stories, not to mention Mr. Albert, who has been admired by him early.

Happy times always fly by, and in a blink of an eye, it's time for school to start. On this morning that is both lively and serious, the family packed all their bags early to take away.

Mr. Harris borrowed a Ford sedan from the ministry that had applied space magic. Harry watched in amazement as Mr. Harris stuffed a pile of luggage into it, one by one. It's a small car, but the interior space is like a minivan!

They arrived at King's Cross at half-past ten, and Harry waited for a long time as Mr. Harris and the others unloaded their luggage, but he could not find the platform for nine and three-quarters. Harry searched for a long time, and it was true, there was a big plastic 9 on one platform, and a large 10 plastic plate on the other, and there was nothing in between.

"Are you looking for the platform for nine and three-quarters?" Alan carried two large suitcases and a huge backpack on his back. Although Allen's strength is very large, this burden is too much to affect his movements, and his backpack is more than two of his heads. Almost the moment Alan picked up the backpack, Alan decided that the first time he was allowed to use his wand, he would study the Traceless Stretching Charm, and he had a small backpack that Kipling was a good fit.

Harry nodded, "I can't find the platform of nine and three-quarters. ”

"Don't worry," Allen said, "you just walk straight towards the wall between platforms 9 and 10." Don't stop, don't be afraid, just go straight in, it's important. If you're nervous, you can trot. Let's go. I'll go first, you can follow me. "How to get to the platform, Alan has heard Lunn say it countless times.

Alan pushed his suitcase and rushed towards the wall, and in Harry's eyes, he almost looked like he was going to kill himself.

But nothing happened that Harry feared, and in the blink of an eye, Alan was gone. Harry pushed his glasses, made up his mind, and ran in Alan's direction.

As Alan passed through the wall, a crimson steam locomotive stopped next to the platform packed with passengers. The sign on the train reads: Hogwarts Express, eleven o'clock. Alan looked back and saw that the place where the ticket gate had been turned out to be a wrought iron archway with the words "Platform Nine and Three-Quarters" written on it. A moment later, Harry came to his side with a shocked look on his face.
