Silver sat up sharply, shook his head, and opened his clenched left hand—there was nothing in it.
"What's wrong, Hermione?"
"I don't know too much, there seems to be some big mess up there, Lanoud just came to wake me up, and now he's going to reinforce the tent's protective magic."
Screams and panicked footsteps of people could be heard outside the tents.
"We've got to go out and have a look." Silver got up quickly and put on a random garment.
"Lanoud will take care of this place, don't worry." He added.
Hermione followed Silver and hurried out of the tent.
By the light of the fires that were still burning, Silver saw the people running toward the woods, as if to escape something that was moving towards them on the camp. The thing was strangely glowing and making a sound like a gunshot. Loud laughter, wild laughter, drunken shouts also moved towards them. Then, a bright green light flashed, illuminating the surrounding qiē.
A group of wizards huddled together, each pointing their wands upwards and pushing forward together, slowly moving around the field. They wore hoods on their heads and face masks. Above them, four struggling figures floated in the air, twisted into various strange shapes, as if the masked wizards on the ground were the puppeteers, and the people above them were marionettes, held by invisible ropes that rose from their wands into the air. Two of them were very small.
More wizards joined the group, laughing loudly and pointing to the bodies floating above. As the procession grew, the tents collapsed.
"Oh my God, isn't that the camp warden, Mr. Roberts, and his family? What the hell are these people doing. Hermione exclaimed.
"As you can see, they're torturing Muggles for fun." Silver said in a very quick voice, "It seems that there were quite a few fish that slipped through the net in the first place." ”
"We don't have the strength to stop them at all, follow me, Hermione, we're going to find the people from the Ministry of Magic, they should clean up this mess, these bureaucrats. Didn't the Auror Quick Reaction Force be deployed around the camp? Silver almost dragged Hermione to the side.
"Jack, I can walk on my own—oh my God, what's that?"
In the woods at the edge of the camp, a huge, green light sparkled through the darkness and flew into the air.
It was a gigantic skeleton, made up of countless turquoise star-like things, and a large python emerged from the skeleton's mouth like a tongue. As they watched, the skeleton rose higher and higher, shining brightly in a cloud of green smoke, like a new constellation against the dark night sky.
Hermione's face suddenly turned pale. "Dark Mark of the Devil." She groaned to Silver.
"It's okay, Hermione, don't be too afraid, as long as the adversary hasn't made a comeback, there's nothing to fear about the Dark Mark of." Silver hugged Hermione tightly, as if that would give her courage.
"So, those people just now, they, are they Death Eaters, what do they want to do? Announcing to the wizarding world that they intend to resurrect again? ”
"I don't think so, Hermione." Silver pretended to be light-hearted. "They may have been Death Eaters in the past, and they may have had a few more drinks today and were going to come out to celebrate, but they would never release the Dark Mark and it would be harmful to them. You see, the crowd is now running away all by one -- and they're scared, too. ”
With a series of popping sounds, dozens of wizards descended from the sky. After them, many Wizards66 continued to apparition.
"These Aurors and Ministry of Magic officials always come late. However, it is better to arrive late than never, and order should be restored to the camp soon. Silver said to Hermione. All we need now is a good glass of fire whiskey to crush the horrors - I remember I had a few bottles hidden in the tent. ”
"Jack, we're not of legal age to drink spirits!"
"Hermione, please don't care about such minutiae......"
