(87) Reply to Zhao Jiwen's letter
Mr. Zhao:
Your letter arrived early, but unfortunately I didn't see it. There are two reasons: First, our school is divided into two schools, south and west, and the distance is large, and I work in the third high school of the west school. According to the usual practice, the messenger first sent the letter to the South School, and then the people from the South School carried it to the West School, which caused the phenomenon of untimely or lost. Second, I went to Beijing in July and didn't come back until after the start of school, and I didn't see your letter until after work, so I haven't replied until now.
In any case, in the past four years, you have persistently written to you to fulfill your friendship and work hard for your wishes, and of course I understand it, but for various reasons it has not been possible to make you wish. If nothing else, your persistence has made it difficult for me to refuse, and besides, what you say is not harmful to the country and the people, but the world today is different from the past, and there are many things.
I don't know how the admissions of your college is going. I read the brochure in the newspaper and thought it was feasible. However, the enrollment brochure should be officially issued by your college, in addition to the current content, the key is to explain the detailed situation of the project with the placement work, such as the location and unit of the implementation, so that the majority of students (youth) "feel good" and think that it is necessary to go. Otherwise, it is difficult to be convincing with only one's three-inch tongue, and besides, I am thousands of miles away from your city, and I have never heard of your hospital, how can it be fascinating? This should be the result of what your letter says: "Sending students to this institution for further study is not only reassuring to students, but also to parents, and even to the recommended teachers."
I ask for your understanding.
