Chapter 57: The Crisis (I)
Harry rushed into the locker room with a lot of doubts, and after spending too much time with Ron, it was about to start the game.
"Where have you been?" Ginny asked as Harry rushed into the locker room. At this time, the whole team has changed their clothes and is ready to play. The batsmen, Gut and Perks, nervously hit their calves with their bats. "Everybody's waiting for you, we don't have a spare Seeker or captain."
Ginny gestured to McLagan, who was standing in front of the small blackboard explaining tactics, "I've had enough of this guy's talk. ”
"I went to see Ron, and I was delayed for a while." Harry whispered to her, putting the red robe over his head. "Don't worry, I'll tell Ron to fuck off as soon as he's well."
"I hope so." Ginny's tone was a little unconfident, "Ron was terrible last time, if he wins this time, McLagan's temperament will definitely take all the credit on himself, and it will not be easy for you to get rid of him at that time." ”
"Then lose on purpose." Harry said without thinking.
Ginny looked at him with disdain, and Harry immediately changed his tune, "I'm just kidding, as long as I catch the Golden Snitch after McLagan drops 140 points, isn't it?" ”
Harry grabbed his bolt and put on his glasses, "Let's go!" ”
He didn't say anything more and strode onto the pitch to the deafening cheers and boos. There was no wind, white clouds, and sometimes dazzling sunlight shone out.
"Troublesome weather!" McLagan cheered the team on, "Gut, Perks, you have to fly out of the sun so that the other side can't see you coming-"
"I'm the captain, McLagan, don't coach them anymore," Harry felt his authority challenged, and he suddenly felt that it was not a good thing to win this game. Annoyed, he said to McLagan, "Now. Go to the goal. That's where you're headed! ”
McLagan gestured to Harry, who wasn't sure if he was insulting himself, but even if he did, he wouldn't be able to fight back now, and if Slytherin found out that he was on the inside, he would be the laughing stock of the whole school.
After McLagan was gone, Harry turned to Gut and Perks.
"Remember to fly where the sun doesn't shine." Reluctantly, he admonished, McLagan robbed him of his lines.
"Potter, I noticed you guys changed goalkeepers this time."
Malfoy and Harford shook hands vigorously, both looking like they wanted to crush each other's hands.
"So what?"
Malfoy smiled wryly, "I mean." McLagan was at least a little better than Weasley - he looked a little more like that. ”
"You-"
Mrs. Hodge's whistle blew, and the two teams took to the air.
Harry rose taller than the rest of the team, galloping around the pitch in search of the Snitch. If he could have caught the Golden Snitch at the start of the match, the match would have been over, McLagan had no room to play, and Gryffindor had beaten Slytherin. It's not that Harry can't do it, but it's a matter of luck rather than his own strength.
"Ginny of Gryffindor. Weasley got the Quaffle," a voice echoed over the court. This voice Harry is very familiar with and is Jack. Silver.
How could he be a Quidditch commentator? Harry was shocked, and he remembered that Jack. Silver's Quidditch skills are good, but he is not very interested in Quidditch. When the two of them were still friends, Silver had said on more than one occasion that playing Quidditch was a tiring and troublesome sport.
"I know you're curious about me - well, Professor McGonagall agreed that I would take a moment to talk about the off-field situation. Hopefully, during this time, Malfoy or Potter won't be able to catch the Golden Snitch right away and end the match. Silver said in an exaggerated tone.
"The original commentary - Hufflepuff's Zacharis. Smith was unlucky to get injured in his last game against Ravenclaw, and he was in a match with Gryffindor goalkeeper Ron Brown. Weasley, too, was lying in Madam Pomfrey's school hospital. Professor McGonagall felt that I had the potential to be a commentator. I was invited to be a temporary commentator for the game. ”
"Let's get back to the game on the field, where Slytherin's Vasset snatched the Quaffle from Ginny's hand. Vasse is Slytherin's ace scorer, having scored more than half of the team's goals on several occasions. Ginny. Weasley flew well though. But it's still a little immature compared to Vasser. Oh, Vaser was so fast, the Gryffindor batsman tried very hard, but he couldn't stop Vaser - well, he was one-on-one with the goalkeeper and the ball went in! McLagan is in the wrong direction! ”
There was a round of applause from the Slytherin stands.
Harry gathered up and looked around for the snitch, but he couldn't find it. A moment later, Vaser scored another goal. McLagan yells at Ginny for throwing the Quaffle, only to notice that the Quaffle flies past his left ear.
"McLagan, please concentrate on what you have to do and don't interfere with others!" Harry turned and yelled at his goalkeeper. "If you lose this game, I won't be able to spare you."
"You're not a good example either!" McLagan roared too, his face flushed and furious. "It's like your handpicked Weasley is doing a good job."
"Harry. Potter was arguing with his goalkeeper," Silver said calmly, and the crowd cheered, "I don't think that will help him find the Snitch, but it might be a good opportunity for Slytherin." ”
The Slytherin chasers did take advantage of the Gryffindor's inside bar, too. Under their ace Vase, they scored a few more goals beautifully.
Harry cursed angrily, turned and continued to gallop around the field, searching the sky for the shadow of the little winged orb. He knew that now was not the time to get tangled with McLagan, just catch the Golden Snitch and it would be over, and settle accounts with him after the game.
Ginny and Demirza scored a goal each, which finally allowed Gryffindor to save some face. Slytherin then quickly scored two more goals and the gap widened again.
"Slytherins are seventy-twenty ahead!" Silver shouted. "Oh, look! The Gryffindor goalkeeper grabbed a batsman's bat. ”
Harry spun around in the air, and sure enough, McLagan snatched the bat from Perks for reasons that only he knew, as if to demonstrate how to play Bludgerin at the flying Slytherins.
"Give him back the bat and go back to the goal!" Harry roared and lunged at McLagan, who slammed the Bludger and sent it flying.
Dangerous!
Harry felt his pores shrink all over his sweat, the ball was coming in his direction! (To be continued......)
