(121) The golden monkey rises up and Yuyu clarifies thousands of miles
In 2002, Comrade Jiang, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, pointed out in his report to the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China: "Looking at the overall situation, the first 20 years of the 21 st century are a period of important strategic opportunities for our country that we must firmly grasp and make great achievements. General Secretary Jiang's remarks tell us a very important message, that is, today's moment is the best time to carry out the four modernizations in a big way, and we must seize this most precious moment and use all our strength to build our own beautiful homeland. The people of all nationalities throughout the country also think the same way and do the same. However, we must not fail to see that there is also a small counter-current in this rolling torrent, that is, there are some people within our party and the state who have become stumbling blocks to our progress and have more or less influenced our mainstream. Some of these people occupy leading positions inside and outside the party, and they abuse their power for personal gain, become corrupt and degenerate, embezzle and take bribes, bring calamity to the country and the people, seriously damage the party's image in the hearts of the people, and cause irreparable losses to the party and the country.
Therefore, our party discovered these silverfish in a timely manner, thoroughly eliminated them from the party, and punished them according to law! This is really gratifying, and the people of all nationalities throughout the country resolutely support and support them! Immediately after that, our party adopted more effective measures: On 26 September 2001, the CPC made the "Decision of the CPC Central Committee on Strengthening and Improving the Party's Work Style" at its 15 th congress This "Decision" is very timely and quite powerful, and we unswervingly believe that with this "Decision", all dirty phenomena, all corrupt elements, and all illegal acts will be eliminated, just as the great leader Chairman Mao said, "The golden monkey rises up a thousand sticks, and Yuyu clarifies thousands of miles"!
This is because, in this "Decision," many important contents that are conducive to the building of our party and the country have been expounded: persistently emancipating the mind, seeking truth from facts, opposing sticking to the old ways, not thinking of making progress, persisting in integrating with reality, opposing copyism and copying, persisting in maintaining close ties with the masses, opposing formalism and bureaucracy, persisting in arduous struggle, and opposing hedonism...... In particular, it expounded that it is quite important to uphold honesty and honesty, oppose the abuse of power for personal gain, persist in appointing people on the basis of merit, and oppose unhealthy tendencies in improper employment. At the present stage, it is not a difficult war years, nor is it a desperate struggle with the emperor and feudal officials; the conditions are correspondingly much better; with a certain material foundation, it is possible that they will not be able to withstand the attack of sugar-coated shells, and some vulnerable elements will deteriorate, especially those who hold the power of the party and government, and once they become degenerate, they will use the power in their hands to extort money, hollow out the corners of socialism, and endanger the solidity of the socialist edifice. With a clean and honest work style, these phenomena will not occur, and the vitality of the revolution will always be maintained. Moreover, by selecting leading cadres who are honest and honest, have noble sentiments, and have talents, our party can maintain its indestructible combat effectiveness; if nepotism is used to grasp the great power of the party and government with bad people who have no talent and no virtues, then what else can we do in the building of the four modernizations? Therefore, we must do a good job in the building of the party's "two winds"!
